Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of the factors forming youth entrepreneurial intention in the halal tourism industry. This research uses a quantitative method with a causality approach. Data was collected from university students in West Nusa Tenggara who have taken entrepreneurship courses. The results show that entrepreneurship education influences opportunity recognition and entrepreneurial intention in halal tourism industry, opportunity recognition influences entrepreneurial intention in halal tourism and entrepreneurship education influences entrepreneurial interest in halal tourism through opportunity recognition. The West Nusa Tenggara government and universities are suggested to develop a curriculum related to halal tourism and link existing courses with topics of halal tourism.

Abstract

This Research aimed to analyze liquidity and profitability to the capital of Conventional Credit Society Bank. The associative method is using to analyze the problems that arise. The location of observation on conventional credit society bank (CSB) is in the province of West Nusa Tenggara, which has experienced the level of capital. The analysis used is path analysis. The results show liquidity has opposite effects indirectly through the profitability of capital. Those indicate the impact of the low liquidity but through to increase efficiency and the capital.Keywords:Liqiuidity, Profitability, Capital, Credit Society Bank (CSB)

Abstract

A changing and hyper competitive market environment is necessary for hotel companies to provide superior services needed by consumers. This study aims to determine service innovations at the Santika Hotel Mataram. This research was designed using a qualitative approach.. After being analyzed using the Interactive Model, the results of the study showed that four dimensions of service innovation had been applied by the Hotel Santika Mataram. Abstract

The process of building the image of Halal tourism is inseparable from the participation of youth in providing Halal hospitality services to tourists based on Islamic values that are believed by the wider community as their local characteristics (authenticity). This study aims to reveal the role of youth in building the image of Halal tourism in terms of the perspective of producers (suppliers) or people who present local service products according to Islamic values that are believed to be. This study uses a qualitative descriptive phenomenology approach. Data obtained through observation and in-depth interviews with 5 tourism activists including 2 adult groups such as; Pokdarwis Chairperson, Pokdarwis treasurer, and 3 youth groups involved in the Sekartije pokdarwis management. The results show that young people who are members of Pokdarwis Sekartije Desa Setanggor as destination managers have started to have awareness to maintain and realize the image development of Halal tourist destinations by making it easier for tourists to get Halal tourism products and service facilities in Setanggor Village, which are supported by Halal habits (Halal practice) that have become the needs of the villagers.

Abstract

The tourism industry on the island of Lombok has experienced rapid development and made Halal tourism a leading sector. This study aims to examine the perceptions of tourism business actors from the millennial group in implementing the concept of Halal tourism on the island of Lombok. This study uses a qualitative descriptive phenomenology approach. The data were obtained through observation and in-depth interviews from Muslim tourism businesses which were determined by snowball sampling. The results show that millennial business actors in the tourism sector have good perceptions and positive attitudes towards the implementation of the Halal tourism concept on the island of Lombok. Limited knowledge and understanding regarding Halal indicators and standards is not a big obstacle to applying Halal principles because it is the culture and culture of the people of Lombok.Keywords:Halal Tourism Implementation, Perception, Muslim Millennial Groups, Lombok

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand perceptions and attitudes of tourism communities towards halal tourism terminology and the development of tourism based on local wisdom. This research adopted qualitative research and was conducted in Lombok. Data was collected in three main tourist destinations including Kuta, Senggigi and Gili Trawangan, therough in-depth interviews and observations, and was analysed using content analysis. The results indicate that tourism businessmen and foreign tourists have a good perception towards the concept of halal tourism and support the development of tourism based on local wisdom. Yet, both informant groups have different opinion towards the use of “halal tourism” as a terminology to promote halal tourism products. Therefore, a systematic socialization on halal tourism is needed to develop consensus among all tourism stakeholders.Keywords: Halal Tourism, Perception, Local Wisdom, Consensus, tourism communities

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a role in accelerating the economy of the community. The quality of MSMEs is largely determined by competitive advantage by utilizing resources that focus on developing or obtaining valuable resources and capabilities. The UMKM sector with intangible assets of MSME players, namely human capital towards the creation of economic value added or Economic Value Added (EVA) in MSMEs. The purpose of this study was to examine and explain the effect of human capital of MSME players in Bali on the achievement of Economic Value Added (EVA). This study uses a positivism approach. The population in this study was the UMKM in Bali Province, amounting to 450 UMKM, with a research sample of 212 MSMEs in Bali Province. The results of research findings that human capital have a significant positive effect on the creation of economic value added (EVA) in MSMEs. The average level of EVA on MSMEs is negative, which means that in general, MSMEs in Bali province have not been able to achieve EVA in their business management.The limitation in this study is the incomplete availability of MSME financial reports. In addition, further research is expected to add other contingencies, such as personality and defense mechanisms.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of self-efficacy, halal tourism knowledge and religiosity on the entrepreneurial entrepreneur of young generation in West Nusa Tenggara. Questionnaire data was collected from final semester university students in West Nusa Tenggara. The results showed that self-efficacy and halal tourism knowledge have a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention in halal tourism industry and religiosity able to strengthen the influence of halal tourism knowledge on entrepreneurial intention among final semester students in West Nusa Tenggara. The West Nusa Tenggara government and universities are suggested to develop good curriculum related to halal tourism and link existing courses with topics of halal tourism.Keywords:self-efficacy; halal tourism knowledge; entrepreneurial intention; religiosity
