Core Subject : Engineering,
The International Journal of Dynamics in Engineering and Sciences (IJDES) is a fully refereed international journal, which publishes original research papers and survey articles in all subjects relevant to dynamics in engineering, sciences and analytical and numerical solution. The highest priority will be given to those contributions which discuss practical problems, the establishment of dynamic models, the determination of a solution, approximate or exact, analytical or numerical development of the results to the real-life problems. Manuscripts which discuss new analytical techniques for new dynamics in engineering and sciences problems in different fields of science and engineering are also encouraged.

Abstract

The 3D animation is a 3D visualization or a 3D animated video that embodies the idea visually to solve a problem that suits the needs. In the current development of 3D animation can be used for as a medium to create a graphic design of a building for promotional purposes and so forth. Regarding the promotion or introduction, STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi campus has not implemented 3D animation and still uses manual way through presentation, and photographs about facilities and infrastructure facilities contained in STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi, so there are still many people do not know the facilities Found on STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi. Therefore, in this research will be built a 3D animation application that is useful to explore all areas and facilities that are found in STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi.

Abstract

This research attempts to monitor West Sumatra ocean surface based on data from satellite altimetry. Altimetry satellite data used is the Sea Surface Height (SSH) Data and Sea Level Anomaly (SLA). Satellite altimetry data processing are complex, include post processing, disposal of data mainland and an empty data as well as the disposal of data outliers. In this study, the global test used has a 99% level of confidence of the data. The quality of the data where the sea surface waters of West Sumatra of multi-satellite altimetry has a good quality of about 90%. Value SSH waters of West Sumatra after correction of missing data and data residing on the mainland ranging between -37 to -7 m. Geoid undulation value EGM96 West Sumatra ranged between -36 to 9. While the value of the SLA in the waters of West Sumatra ranged from -5.5 to 6 m.
