Jurnal ini mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian tentang pendidikan dan pengajaran, dan artikel yang masuk hendaknya bukan hasil plagiat dan belum dipublikasikan di tempat lain. Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by an increase in blood glucose. The International Diabetes Federation predicts that by 2045 there will be an increase in diabetes cases of 700 million in the world. The increase in diabetes cases is closely related to the therapeutic process in patients, the process results in emotional distress until patients experience stress. Stress in diabetes has an impact on unstable blood sugar control due to increased glucose levels in the blood. So a study was conducted to determine the relationship between stress and blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients. Research using quantitative methods with a cross sectional approach. The study population of 291 obtained 80 samples using purposive sampling techniques. The research media were DDS (Diabetes Distress Scale) questionnaire and glucometer. Univariate data analysis using frequency distribution. Bivariate data analysis using the Pearson correlation test aims to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results showed a correlation between stress levels and blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients with pearson correlation analysis obtained p-values of 0.000<0.05 and r = 0.650. The Conclusion there is a relationship between stress levels and blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center in Jambi City. Advice puskesmas to educate patients to better control blood sugar, and encourage patients for always think positively to avoid stress

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of QR Code media on the ability to write drama scripts. This research is a quantitative type of research with a Nonequivalent Control Group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 14 Jambi City. Sampling in this study used the Purposive Sampling technique, the sample used was 62 students who were divided into two classes, namely 31 students in class VIII C as the control class and 31 students in VIII E as the experimental class. Research data was obtained through interviews, documentation, and test instruments (Pretest and Posttest). The results showed that the average posttest score for the experimental class was 70.8 and the control class was 64.3. The results of the hypothesis test using the t test, show that the output results obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.018 < 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so there is a significant influence of QR Code media on students' ability to write drama scripts.

Abstract

This study is part of development research using the Plomp model in the assessment phase, namely the effectiveness test. The goal to be achieved is to see the effectiveness of the physics electronics module based on experiential learning assisted by smartphone in increasing student competency. Data collection in this study was carried out using three instruments: the attitude competency instrument in the form of self-assessment, the knowledge competency instrument in the form of a test with 25 multiple-choice questions, and the skills competency instrument in the form of a performance assessment rubric. The research results for knowledge competence are seen in classical completeness and knowledge competence improvement. The students' classical completeness reached 94% and the N-gain score was 0.83 with high criteria. In attitude competence, the average attitude is 86.88% with very good criteria. In skills competency, an average score of 85.08% of students' skills is obtained with very good criteria. Based on the three competency data results, it can be concluded that the physics electronics module based on experiential learning assisted by a smartphone is effectively used in Physics learning to improve student competence

Abstract

This research is categorized as classroom action research that conducted by the head school in effort increase class teacher competency at SD Negeri 87/IX Kunangan Regency Muaro Jambi via Academic Supervision in the Second Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. On this research held action because there are two cycles.  In cycle I , the Principal's observation results obtained an average score of 3.40, teacher observations obtained an average score of 3.17, and the results of academic supervision in class obtained an average score of 68.56. Meanwhile, in cycle II , the principal's observation results obtained an average score of 4.60, teacher observations obtained an average score of 4.50, and the results of academic supervision in class obtained an average score of 83.6 . Revisions and improvements to activities do not need to be carried out because the research has succeeded in achieving the indicators that have been achieved set. Study School Action (PTS) was declared "Successful" and stopped in cycle II

Abstract

Higher Education up to participating in teacher professional education. At the Higher Education level, prospective teachers or students carry out exercises in carrying out learning or learning practices. Practical activities are carried out with a small scope or often called micro teaching. Micro teaching helps students develop teaching skills. Teaching ability cannot be separated from the curriculum. Therefore, to produce professional teacher candidates, it is necessary to train students in the implementation of the curriculum used, where the current curriculum used is the independent curriculum. This research is aimed at knowing students' experiences in implementing the independent curriculum. The research conducted was a survey with a quantitative descriptive method. This research method is based on survey results. Data collection technique with a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques by processing the data obtained expressed in percentages and then analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded (1) that most micro teaching students have the ability to develop teaching modules. Improvements to student weaknesses lie in the difficulty of finding models, methods, learning strategies, exercises, meaningful understanding, assessment, enrichment and glossaries. (2) the implementation of independent curriculum learning that has been carried out by students by applying differentiation learning, needs to pay attention to aspects of the implementation of differentiation learning itself, namely (a) student readiness, interests and learning styles, (b) content preparation, and (c) learning environment and learning products

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of Entrepreneurial Creative Product learning and 21 st- Century Digital skills on Vocational High School of Immanuel Christian II Sungai Raya students. This study employed a causal or causal relationship method using a quantitative approach. The study’s subject comprised twelfth-grade students, and the data was collected through questionnaires administered to twelfth-grade students. (1) The direct effect of Entrepreneurial Creative Product learning on entrepreneurial interest was moderate, at 35.9%. (2) The direct effect of 21 st-century digital skills on entrepreneurs' interests was moderate, at 30.6%. (3) The direct effect of Entrepreneurial Creative Product learning on 21 st-century digital skills was moderate, at 39.3%. (4) Learning creative entrepreneurial products affected entrepreneurial interest through 21 st-century digital skills in Vocational High School of Immanuel Christian II Sungai Raya students with mediation status was partial mediation indicating that direct effect and indirect effect were accepted.

Abstract

Modern literary theory and technology approaches can be applied in literature teaching to increase students' creativity in understanding and enjoying literary works in the digital era. The use of technology can help students to broaden their horizons about literature and enrich their learning experience, but keep in mind that the use of technology also has some disadvantages. In this study, the author discusses the implications of using modern literary theory approaches and technology in literary teaching, as well as strategies that can be used to utilize technology wisely and effectively in the context of literary teaching. Through this approach, it is hoped that students can develop their creativity in understanding and enjoying literary works better in the digital era.

Abstract

Conflict within the organization can affect individuals within the organization. Conflicts that are not handled properly can hinder organizational communication and hinder the creation of cooperation between individuals within the organization. This study aims to determine the effect of conflict on individuals in organizations. This study uses qualitative research methods with literature study techniques by collecting data from various sources such as books, journals, and references. This study aims to know and understand how conflict affects an individual in an organization. The results of the research show that this can affect individuals within an organization so it can affect the performance of each individual. This research is expected to contribute to the development of theory and practice of human resource management in organizations.

Abstract

Application of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model in science subject for fifth grade students of SDN 060/XI Pendung Hiang, where this Guided Inquiry Learning Model is a learning model that is structured based on constructivist theory which emphasizes student activity, independence and the development of intensive team learning. This research is a class action research (Classroom Action Research), which consists of four components in each cycle, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection, carried out to find out whether the application of the Learning Model Guided Inquiry, the learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 060/XI Pendung Hiang can be increased. The subjects in this study were 16 students of class V SDN 060/XI Pendung Hiang. To collect data, the authors use tests in each cycle and observation sheets. As for the data analysis technique, namely with descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Qualitative descriptive is used in analyzing observational or observational data, while quantitative descriptive is used to provide an overview or draw conclusions based on the results of learning tests conducted in each cycle. From the results of this study, it was obtained that the percentage of observations of student activity in the first cycle was 56.25%, and 87,5% in the second cycle. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes also increased from cycle I 62,5%, increasing to 81% in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry learning model to science lessons can increase student activity in class V SDN 060/XI Pendung Hiang. The results of the analysis of student learning outcomes in each cycle showed that the ability level of fifth grade students at SDN 060/XI Pendung Hiang had increased, this was seen after the application of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model, seen in cycle I the average student score was 71 and in cycle II the average is 81. This shows that science learning outcomes increase after the application of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of parents' democratic parenting in motivating student learning in PAI learning. Democratic parenting style emphasizes giving intensive attention to children by respecting the child's freedom but also accompanied by supervision from parents. This research is a type of qualitative research, the method used is a literature study (library rearch) by reviewing books and various trusted sources such as reputable journals and scientific papers. To obtain in-depth data the researcher then reads, examines and analyzes from various sources that are relevant to what the researcher is studying. The results of this study indicate that parents' democratic parenting style can encourage children to become independent individuals and also have high learning motivation. This is because children with good care from parents receive intensive attention and space is opened for them to express opinions. Parents also accustom children to study discipline, independence, and obedience to worship to be able to provide a role for children, especially in learning motivation.
