Abstract

The PI-Mobile ITTP application is an academic application to make it easier for new ITTP students or old ITTP students to find various kinds of information such as campus profiles, faculties, education administration, campus ethics, student information, campus facilities, and others. According to the results of the questionnaire distributed to ITTP students using the System Usability Scale (SUS), the usability value was 51.10 which was included in the interval >= 51 and <68 in the adjective rating poor category with grade D. So that improvements to the application design need to be made. The method in this study uses User Centered Design (UCD) because the UCD method involves the application users themselves so they can provide input regarding the usability or convenience of using the PI-Mobile ITTP application. The final result of this study is that after redesigning the appearance of the PI-Mobile ITTP application based on input from users obtained from 34 ITTP student respondents, the usability results tested with SUS obtained a usability value of 79.78 which was included in the interval >=74 and < 80.3 is in the adjective rating good category with grade B. Based on the results of the usability test with SUS and using the UCD method, an increase in usability of 28.68 was obtained, the initial value being 51.10 in the adjective rating poor and the grade D category to 79.78 in the adjective good rating and grade B category.

Abstract

Dyslexia is a learning disability that is mainly related to literacy and language skills. In this study focused on hijaiyah letters. The goal to be achieved is to produce a game application that can be used by teachers to support learning hijaiyah letters for dyslexia.The waterfall method is used in game application development. One type of dyslexia is Visuo-spatial difficulties characterized by difficulties in writing, reading, remembering and mathematics. Learning tried to be applied is visual stimulation that is done repeatedly. To train the memory of dyslexia, the type of puzzle game was chosen. An easy game is presented, children just need to draft and drop hijaiyah letters according to the questions given, questions are presented in voice instructions. Successfully developed game applications can be run on android devices. Every game activity is recorded by a web-based monitoring system. Learning progress is presented in the form of statistical graphs that can be accessed by teachers.

Abstract

Broiler chicken farming is one sector that contributes to playing an important role in causing an increase in the quality of life of the community, especially in fulfilling animal protein. Broiler chicken is a superior breed that has high meat productivity and a short reproductive cycle, thus encouraging the formation of partnerships between breeders and large companies. As the core, the company evaluates the success of breeders as seen from the performance index or IP value. The attributes that affect the IP value are depletion, average harvest weight, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and harvest age. The purpose of this research is to find out the attributes that most influence the success rate of broiler production in Riau and to get the accuracy value of the decision tree model using the C4.5 algorithm. This study used 952 livestock production data in Riau divided by a ratio of 80% training data and 20% test data. This test produces a decision tree in which the FCR attribute is the root node with a gain value of 0.45 and is the attribute that most influences the success rate of broiler chicken production in Riau. Evaluation using the confusion matrix produces an accuracy value of 97.11%, a precision of 98.89%, a recall of 98.16%.

Abstract

AbstractTechnological developments are getting advanced all the time, one of which is Augmented Reality, nowadays there are many uses of the Marker Based Tracking method used in Augmented Reality for various fields. Although many use Augmented Reality, there are still many who do not know the limitations contained in the Marker Based Tracking method, namely the minimum and maximum required levels of light intensity, distance, and angle in marker detection. This study aims to determine the effect and seek the level of minimum and maximum requirement of light intensity, distance and angle of the Marker Based Tracking method in marker detection. In this study the data collection process will use the testing method, the testing process will be carried out based on predetermined test parameters, such as light intensity, distance, and angle with several different variable indicators that have been determined, namely the variable light indicator using no light source, yellow light, white light source and sun light source then variable distance and angle indicators using 5cm, 10cm, 20cm, 30cm, 40cm, 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 15°, 30°, 45°, 60° , 75°, 90°. The test results of the Marker Based Tracking method show that the marker detection distance is a minimum of 10 centimeters and a maximum of 80 centimeters, as well as a minimum marker detection angle of 45 degrees and a maximum of 90 degrees. For all light sources, Augmented Reality applications can detect markers and display 3D objects based on light intensity; however, without light, they cannot detect the marker. Testing without light intensity obtains a detection accuracy rate of 0%, for testing on yellow light sources obtains a detection accuracy rate of 48%, for testing on white light sources obtains a detection accuracy rate of 51%, for testing on solar light sources obtains a detection accuracy rate of 51%. detection accuracy of 53%.

Abstract

Machine learning techniques are widely used in various fields and data is needed to train models. However, the distribution of classes in most real-world datasets turns out to be not always balanced, and can be very imbalanced. If the data is imbalanced, the performance of the classifier is highly dependent on the majority class, causing problems in determining performance. One technique that can be applied to balance the data is the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE). SMOTE is applied to credit scoring using the German Credit Data (GCD) dataset, and then classified using four classification methods, namely: random forest, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Multilayer Perceptron (MLP). The performance measure of implementing SMOTE in each classifier method is measured using: recall, precision, F1-Score, and AUC. Accuracy values are also measured to see if the accuracy is suitable for calculating performance on imbalanced datasets. Based on performance measures: recall, precision, F1-Score, and AUC, then applying SMOTE to the dataset and then classifying it using four methods shows an increase in performance. The highest performance measure: recall = 82.00% with the random forest method, precision = 75.35 with the MLP method, F1-Score = 76.93% with the MLP method, and AUC = 0.832 with the random forest method. The accuracy value after SMOTE slightly decreased in the random forest, KNN, and SVM methods, while with MLP the accuracy value increased slightly. The contribution of this research is to show the need for imbalanced data handling to improve the performance of classifier algorithms, especially for credit rating datasets.

Abstract

In this study the topic raised was about stroke. Based on the statistical results of the Indonesian Health Service Research Agency (2018), stroke is the disease in the first order in Indonesia. Previous studies have carried out stroke research including research that took data from patients at Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital. The model used is the Machine Learning Decision Tree, with an accuracy of 87.5%. For better accuracy, this study predicts stroke using two algorithms, namely support vector machine (SVM) and logistic regression (LR). In the stroke data found there were 10 attributes and 1 output, which consisted of gender, age, hypertension, heart_disease, ever_married, work_type, Residence_type, avg_glucose_level, bmi, smoking_status, and stroke(output). This study uses the SVM+SMOTE model with a confusion matrix and K-Fold and uses 4981 rows and 11 columns. Based on the research results, the support vector machine algorithm is better than the logistic regression (LR) algorithm in predicting datasets using the oversampling and cross-validation methods. Testing the SVM + SMOTE model using the confusion matrix and the K-Fold method produces much better accuracy in the distribution of stroke data accurately. The results show that the Support Vector Machine classification algorithm can work effectively with perfect accuracy of 95.3% at the 10K-Fold Validation level.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology corresponds to the progress of human civilization and has contributed to increasing human needs in various areas of life, one of which is the need for communication and information. Speed and accuracy of data are, of course, very necessary to fulfil these needs. In this research, which was conducted in a pastry shop in Jakarta, there are many things that can be developed, considering that the system that is operated is still traditional. Therefore, a web-based system is being developed that can help advance the ongoing business. Advances in technology make users take advantage of the convenience it provides for the things they do. Therefore, technological advances have increased time efficiency and sales through a website where customers can easily order or buy cakes from home without coming to the store in person. The current process of recording sales is no longer done manually but has been integrated into the system automatically. This study's web-based information system for selling cakes was designed based on User Centered Design (UCD) method and User Experience Questioner (UEQ) method for users' convenience viewing web pages. The developed cake sales web-based information system is tested based on the User Experience Questioner (UEQ) method to support user comfort with website appearance. Based on the test results, an average (Mean) of 1.52 was obtained and the system development is able to meet the user needs and provide positives impressions.

Abstract

In the digital era today, many restaurants struggle in managing their food orders manually, such as recording orders and making payments. This can cause delays in service and errors in order processing. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an efficient and convenient web-based food ordering system for restaurants. The aim of this research is to analyze and develop a web-based food ordering system for restaurants using the efficient and convenient Agile Development method. This method emphasizes team collaboration, continuous development stages, and adjustment to changes that occur during the development process. This research will use the agile method to develop a web-based food ordering system for restaurants that makes it easier for customers to order food and helps the restaurant manage food orders efficiently. The results of the research show that the customer satisfaction level for the web-based food ordering service is 87%. The average ordering time reaches 3 minutes, making the ordering process easierfor customers. Errors in the ordering process occur around 2.5%, with most of them caused by internet connection issues. The security score of the ordering system is 92 out of 100, indicating a good level of security

Abstract

In the digital era and the development of information technology, it is necessary to have a website to make it easier to carry out activities and find sources of information and knowledge quickly. Information about job vacancies is an important thing that is needed and needed by people who want to get a suitable job. The source of information that is easy and fast makes updating information about job vacancies every day. Designing a web-based job search information system which is built on an initial display menu, a job type menu, namely all types of vacant position fields along with the name of a limited liability company that is in need of employees and also the location of the company. Using the Framework For The Applications Of System Thinking can assist in software development which is carried out in several ways in stages. The Framework For The Applications Of System Thinking in its use is able to make decisions in changing and developing software according to the conditions of the situation. By testing the system with blackbox testing to further ensure that all system displays are functioning properly and running properly. The result of this system is a website-based job search information system that has a search menu, position field type menu, location map according to google maps.

Abstract

Communication and information technology in the world of education is an effort made in creating a different teaching-learning atmosphere so that students can develop their potential. E-Learning is a learning process that utilizes computer technology, computer networks, and the Internet in the process of disseminating knowledge, thus enabling students to learn via computers anywhere without having to physically go to class/lectures. Atma Jaya Makassar University already has an E-Learning system but several obstacles occur starting from a less interactive display, limited functions, no integration with the academic system, and the unavailability of mobile-based E-Learning. Previously, e-learning used a claroline base which had problems in terms of appearance and functionality. This research uses the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) method in developing e-learning software. The waterfall method is a work method that emphasizes sequential and systematic phases. This method starts from identifying the problems that occur, the design, implementation, testing and verification stages. Moodle-based E-Learning products offer to enter the "digital classroom" to access learning materials with a more attractive appearance and easier access with the mobile application version. The advantages of Moodle include being able to create learning materials, quizzes, and online discussion forums in an E-Learning package. Therefore, this study aims to improve the quality of learning will develop a moodle-based E-Learning system at Atma Jaya University Makassar.
