Abstract

Abstract: The root of the problem in this study is poor student learning outcomes. Toovercome this problem, this study applies a problem-based learning model. This researchis a classroom action research, with the research subjects of class IX-2 SMP Negeri 3Muara, totaling 32 people. This research's object is student learning outcomes through theapplication of problem-based learning on quadratic function material in class IX-2 ofSMP Negeri 3 Muara. The instrument used was a test. The test consists of a pre-test and apost-test, each of which consists of 5 items. In the first cycle, the number of students whoobtained the "complete" category was 21 people, and the percentage of classicalcompleteness was 65.60%. In the second cycle, the number of students who obtained the"complete" category was 28 people, and the percentage of classical completeness was87.50%. From the results of the actions in cycle I and cycle II, it was concluded that therewas an increase in student learning outcomes in the Quadratic Functions material throughthe application of the Problem-Based learning model in class IX of SMP Negeri 3 Muarain the 2019/2020 academic year.Keyword: problem-based; quadratic functionAbstrak: Akar masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Untukmengatasi masalah tersebut, pada penelitian ini diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasismasalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitiansiswa kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 3 Muara yang berjumlah 32 orang. Objek dalam penelitianini adalah hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah padamateri fungsi kuadrat di kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 3 Muara. Instrumen yang digunakanadalah tes. Tes terdiri atas tes awal dan tes akhir (post test), yang masing-masingberjumlah 5 butir soal. Pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang memperoleh kategori “tuntas”sebanyak 21 orang dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 65,60%. Pada siklus IIjumlah siswa yang memperoleh kategori “tuntas” sebanyak 28 orang dan persentaseketuntasan klasikal sebesar 87,50%. Dari hasil tindakan pada siklus I dan siklus II makadisimpulkan ada peningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Fungsi Kuadrat melaluipenerapan model pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Muara tahunpelajaran 2019/2020.Kata kunci: berbasis masalah; fungsi kuadrat

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of several problems experienced by students, namely low motivation and student learning outcomes resulting from student disinterest in learning physics. Efforts made to fix the above problems are implementing learning by applying problem-solving methods. In this study, the study subjects were 36 students of class X IPA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. This study aims to determine the increase in student motivation and learning outcomes after implementing the problem-solving methods in learning. The results of this study were obtained where the initial conditions were 58.33. In cycle I, the average score obtained by students was 64.44, and in cycle II the average value obtained by students was 74.44. Above, it can be concluded that the implementation process of learning improvement was declared successful and complete in the second cycle, while seen from the learning activities of 36 students, 24 students had finished learning (66.67%). In comparison, 12 students (33.33%) had not yet completed it. Seen from the motivation to learn. As for the explanation of student learning activities, there were 33 students or 91.67% who were declared complete, and there were still three students or 8.33% who were declared complete. Keyword: motion; Newton's laws; problem solving  Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya beberapa permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa yaitu rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa sebagai akibat dari ketidaktertarikan siswa dalam belajar Fisika. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk memperbaiki permasalahan di atas adalah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode problem solving. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong sebanyak 36 orang siswa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu  untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar  siswa setelah menerapkan metode problem solving dalam pembelajaran. Adapun hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dimana kondisi awal sebesar 58,33, pada siklus  I  nilai  rata-rata  yang  diperoleh  siswa  adalah  64,44 dan pada siklus II rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa adalah 74,44..  Dari perolehan angka-angka di atas dapat disimpulan bahwa pada siklus kedua, proses pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran dinyatakan berhasil dan tuntas pada siklus kedua sementara dilihat dari aktivitas belajarnya dari 36 siswa terdapat 24 orang yang tuntas belajarnya (66,67%) sedangkan 12 siswa (33,33%) belum tuntas dilihat dari motivasi belajarnya. Adapun penjelasan mengenai aktivitas belajar siswa terdapat 33 siswa atau 91,67% yang dinyatakan tuntas dan masih terdapat 3 siswa atau 8,33% yang dinyatakan tuntas. Kata kunci: gerak; hukum Newton; problem solving

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the material Concluding Expositional Text Contents (Main idea) from Various Induction Paragraph Patterns, Deduction through the Application of Intensive Reading Techniques in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Muara in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research subjects were 32 students of class VIII, while the research object was the improvement of student activity and learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning. This study's results indicate the average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 65.94, then the number of students who completed was 18 students (56.25%). From the point of view of student motivation in the first cycle, it was obtained from 32 students, 18 students completed their studies (56.25%) seen from their learning motivation. The average student learning outcomes in the second cycle was 72.50, then the number of students who completed was 30 students (93.75%). The student motivation point in the first cycle was obtained from 32 students who completed their learning or 100%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in student results on the material Concluding the Contents of Exposition Text (Main idea) from Various Induction Paragraph Patterns, Deduction through the Application of Intensive Reading Techniques in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 3 Muara in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Keyword: intensive reading; learning outcomes; main ideas; motivation  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  mengetahui ada peningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi  Menyimpulkan Isi Teks Eksposisi (Ide pokok)  Dari Berbagai Pola Paragraf Induksi, Deduksi Melalui Penerapan Teknik Membaca Intensif pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3  Muara  Tahun Pelajaran  2019/2020. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 32 siswa sedangkan yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  nilai rata-rata  hasil belajar siswa pada siklus pertama sebesar  65,94 kemudian jumlah siswa yang tuntas  sebanyak 18 siswa (56,25%). Dari sudut motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh  dari 32 siswa terdapat 18 orang yang tuntas belajarnya (56,25%) dilihat dari motivasi belajarnya. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II sebesar 72,50 kemudian jumlah siswa yang tuntas  sebanyak 30 siswa (93,75%). Dari sudut motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I I diperoleh  dari  32 siswa yang tuntas belajarnya atau 100%. dAPAT disimpulkan ada peningkatkan hasil siswa pada materi  Menyimpulkan Isi Teks Eksposisi (Ide pokok)  Dari Berbagai Pola Paragraf Induksi, Deduksi Melalui Penerapan Teknik Membaca Intensif Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3  Muara  Tahun Pelajaran  2019/2020. Kata Kunci: membaca intensif, ide pokok, motivasi, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstrak: This action research aims to improve student learning outcomes by using a model in the Elementary School Snowball Throwing 130 004 Tanjungbalai. This study was conducted in three cycles. The subjects were students of class IV Elementary School 130 004 Tanjungbalai. The object of research is science student learning outcomes. The results were obtained by increasing the average value of 6.4 students in the first cycle to 8.0 in the third cycle. An increase in student learning completeness of 43.33% in the first cycle to 100% in the third cycle. Kata kunci: Snowball Throwing  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Snowball Throwing di SD Negeri 130004 Tanjungbalai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 130004 Tanjungbalai. Objek penelitian adalah hasil belajar IPA siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari 6,4 pada siklus peertma menjadi 8,0 pada siklus ketiga. Terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 43,33% pada siklus pertama menjadi 100% pada siklus ketiga. Kata kunci: Snowball Throwing

Abstract

Abstrak: Classroom Action Research was carried out for two cycles. The subjects in this study were students of class XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Medan with 26 students. In the first cycle of meeting I, it was found that there were no students who had very good learning motivation, three students who were classified as good, 17 students who were classified as sufficient, and six students who were classified as lacking. In the first cycle of meeting II, it was obtained data that there were no students who obtained very good criteria, ten students were classified as good, 16 students were classified as sufficient, and no students were classified as poor. In the second cycle of meeting I, it was obtained data that two students were classified as very good, 19 students were classified as good, five students were classified as sufficient, and no student was classified as lacking. In the second cycle of the second meeting, it was found that four students were classified as very good, 20 people were classified as good, two people were classified as sufficient, and no student was classified as lacking. The implementation of the action in the second cycle of the second meeting was already getting better results reaching the expected criteria. Students' average value evidences this in the second cycle of the second meeting, which is 79.2. Kata kunci: make a match; wave  Abstrak: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Medan dengan jumlah siswa 26 orang. Pada siklus I pertemuan I diperoleh data tidak ada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar sangat baik, 3 orang siswa yang tergolong baik, 17 orang siswa yang tergolong cukup, dan 6 orang siswa yang tergolong kurang. Pada siklus I pertemuan II diperoleh data bahwa tidak ada siswa yang memperoleh kriteria sangat baik, 10 orang siswa yang tergolong baik, 16 orang siswa yang tergolong cukup, dan tidak ada siswa yang tergolong kurang. Pada siklus II pertemuan I diperoleh data bahwa 2 orang siswa yang tergolong sangat baik, 19 orang siswa tergolong baik, 5 orang siswa tergolong cukup dan tidak ada siswa yang tergolong kurang. Pada siklus II pertemuan II diperoleh data bahwa 4 orang siswa tergolong sangat baik, 20 orang tergolong baik, 2 orang tergolong cukup, dan tidak ada siswa yang tergolong kurang. Pada pelaksanaan tindakan pada siklus II pertemuan II sudah mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik mencapai kriteria yang diharapkan. Hal ini di buktikan dari nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus II pertemuan ke II, yaitu 79,2. Kata kunci: gelombang; make a match

Abstract

Abstrak: The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Discovery Learning learning model to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of the Equation of Tangent Circles in SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong in the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong, amounting to 39 people. The instrument used was a test consisting of 5 items. From the research results from the first cycle, it was found that the number of students who obtained individual completeness was 28 people (71.79%), with an average value of 71.21. The results of observations in the first cycle found that the percentage of student activity was 65% or in the good category. The action results in cycle II obtained that the number of students who obtained individual completeness was 39 people (100%) with an average value of 80.15. The observation result in cycle II showed that the percentage of student activity was 85% or in the good category. From the results of the actions in cycle I and cycle II, it is concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the material of the Equation of Tangent Circles in SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong in the 2019/2020 academic year. Kata kunci: circle; discovery learning; tangent  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan  model pembelajaran Discovery Learning  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Persamaan Garis Singgung Lingkaran di SMA  Negeri 1 Siborongborong tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian  siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong yang berjumlah 39 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes yang terdiri dari 5 butir soal. Dari hasil penelitian dari siklus pertama  diperoleh jumlah siswa yang memperoleh ketuntasan secara individu sebanyak 28 orang (71,79%) dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 71,21. Hasil observasi pada siklus I diperoleh bahwa persentase aktivitas siswa sebesar 65% atau berada pada kategori cukup. Hasil tindakan pada siklus II  diperoleh jumlah siswa yang memperoleh ketuntasan secara individu sebanyak 39 orang (100%) dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,15. Hasil  observasi pada siklus II diperoleh bahwa persentase aktivitas siswa sebesar 85% atau berada pada kategori baik. Dari hasil tindakan pada siklus I dan pada siklus II maka disimpulkan  penerapan  model pembelajaran Discovery Learning  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Persamaan Garis Singgung Lingkaran  di SMA  Negeri 1 Siborongborong tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Kata kunci: discovery learning; garis singgung; lingkaran
