Abstract

Realized that natural attractions which are supported by arts and culture to always increase local revenues, so that the district offices of Pacitan through cultural tourism and sports youth strive to exploit and explore various potential it self. many circles are also involved in accordance with their own competence. Look at that phenomenon, presumably necessary role of education, one of from the higher education institutions contributed to these positive efforts. From community service activities it is necessary to research to see an opportunity that accordance with their competence, then the wayang beber workshop was held and directed against students of senior high school. This workshop activity undertaken in a sustainable manner is considered essential in order to grow awareness and high motivation, especially for the younger generation of Pacitan to always want to know and love the original Pacitan’s Beber Puppet. Abstract

Learning as a process of interaction between student and teacher as well as source of learning at a created contion in oeder to develop behavior. Behavior developing is concerning conscious, continuous, positive and active developing and it is not tentative developing. Besides that, it also includes aspect of behavior and moreover, it has certain aim an direction. Creativity developing is an effort to attractively renovate in order to make it suited to the era and to be able to present art as an effective media for creativity developing. It means that dance art which belongs to SMK Mikael becomes a media of growing and developing for dance “Dancer Pom-pom boys Cheenico” that can be packed as dance spectacle communicated to the audience. The problem that will be analized in the process of dance learning includes how the process and way of dance appreciation learning for student in SMKMikael Surakarta are and what the methot used is. Dance learning has a function as self developing. It can give contribution to the student’ personal developing. The contribution include giving expression space, creative and imaginative developing, increasing the sense of self confidence, and developing cultural insight. For the reason, learning of art has special character and uniqueness. The approach used introduction, while the methods used to give the materials are giving discourse, demontrating and drilling. Key words : learning, developing, creativity, and character.

Abstract

The ability to master musical compositions for the gamelan is an essential professional skill that members of the Mojolaras and Majumawas Karawitan groups must possess. Gamelan groups whose members are artists with minimum experience and a lack of musical education require intensive rehearsals in order to master these musical compositions. These rehearsals are intended to help the Mojolaras Karawitan Group in Mojosongo, Jebres, Surakarta, and theMajumawasKarawitanGroup in Benowo, Ngringo, Jaten, Karanganyar to become familiar with a wide repertoire of compositions and the different ways of treating these compositions. The members of these groups are aware of the need to rehearse, bearing in mind that they often have the opportunity to perform at weddings, circumcisions, and other community events.Keywords :Gamelan,MajumawasKarawitan

Abstract

This paper suggests about efforts to improve basic skills in preparation for the group of children dance Subjects Teachers Council (MGMP) Art in the district of Karanganyar through Dance Child Development and Training. These actions are in principle also aims to improve the knowledge and conceptual understanding of the preparation for teachers of dance arts; improve the skills of a child preparation techniques of dance for art teachers in the district of Karanganyar; improve technical skills and innate dancing children for the sake of learning; provide refreshment materials for learning the art of formal dance that always follow the changing times; and liaison between the Department of Dance ISI Surakarta with alumni, and stakeholders (schools in the district Karanganyar).Improved preparation of dance skills for teachers of children is very important given the lack of art materials for teaching dance in elementary and junior. Through training activities are expected of teachers able to be creative dance untukmencipta children, to meet the needs of the art learning materials in schools. Preparation and Training Activities This dance is applying explorative and innovative methods, as methods in the preparation of material pembelajran dance as art in elementary - junior high. A lecture and demonstration, as a method of dance training for groups in Karanganyar MGMP Art. This method has the advantage that it combines a variety of methods in a continuous flow of activities. Methods of providing support for other methods of optimizing these training activities.The method applied in the training proved to be successful. It appears this success at achieving the objectives, activities include: increasing knowledge and conceptual understanding of dance preparation of children and child dance technique skills for art teachers in Karanganyar District, who indicated from their success in preparing the paper / child dance compilation concepts concepts and embodied in the dance of children. Abstract

Service for Society is one of the duty that have to be done by a lecturer. The dance department gave this opportunity to the lecturers to make some links to do the Tri Dharma Higher Education, which one of it called Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PPM). The lecturers did this in a work with the relationship between theDance department of ISI Surakarta and the arts teachers in the Kabupaten Karanganyar area. This work wanted to give the teachers how to develope their knowledge and their competence trough the improving skill, and creativity, related with skill of traditional make up, fantasy make up, dan how to wear costumes in the performance. Trough the teaching prosess and apresiation, for the teacher will be able to use this for the educational work in their class. This work also became a part of pubication for ISI Surakarta. The methode for this work is lecture demonstration. The training of make up and costume is really use full for the participants. Key words : skill, PPM, make up and costume

Abstract

Community serving activities entitled “Educational Training of CaturPakeliran for the Students of SekarRinonce Pedalangan Training Course in Wonogiri” was held to increase the skill of catur for the students of SekarRinoncePedalangan Training Course and also to improve the quality of catur learning, by using innovative model and strategy.The core competences of catur pakeliran which given to the students, cover : janturan, pocapan, and ginem in the first scene (jejer), Kedhatonan,Paseban Jawi,AdeganDuryapura, and the scene of perang gagal in the lakonWahyu Makutharama which arranged by Purwadi. This aducational training of catur pakeliran is considered succeed, because of the whole quality of the students in presenting garap catur is a lot better than before. This improvement of skill in performing catur cannot be separated from the learning method of active-independent education for the student which used several methods of speech, appreciation, and demonstration. This model of active-independent education explores students’’creativity, so that they can respond the material of training given by creative skills. This conclusion is based on evaluation towards the trainers which observe their students in the last session of performance of this educational training. Abstract

Batik art is one of the ancestral heritage and has been determined by UN agency, UNESCO, in 2009 as an Intangible Heritage does not object or generated by the Indonesian nation, as well as no other nation possessed. Batik, a traditional cloth laden contain cultural values and philosophy of the sublime and inherited from generation to generation. Traditional batik patterns produced is a representation of local culture and stimulated by the present practice of meditation, philosophy and tradition with high charisma. The problem formulation used in the Development Activities of Batik Art is how the process of making batik and how the equipment needed in the process of making batik. In addition, the Development Activities of Batik Art which was held on 19 to August 23, 2011 using themethods of lectures, discussions, andworkshops. Beside that, workshop, a direct introduction of the practice both in terms of materials, tools and techniques of batik, as well as coloring and the remove wax process. Therefore, it becomes an obligation to introduce and preserve, as well as keeping to batik, are not extinct and is acknowledged to be the culture of other nations. This is what encourages the implementing development activities conducted batik in SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo so that younger generations can learn more about local culture is valuable and we ought to keep its existence. Abstract

Community service activities is a routine agendawhich was held by universities throughout Indonesia as one element of Tri Dharma college. This time the activity is carried out by NI Nyoman Wati ISI Surakarta dance lecturer for three months with student trainees Vocational School District 8 Surakarta. The material taught is: two types of Balinese dance that consists of: dance groups such as dance Panyembrama daughter as a welcome to the guests. Dance dance dance Margapati is a type of manly men who usually danced a single, gestures depicting lion in prey. In this training Margapati dance groups presented with the intention of causing an element of novelty in its presentation. Both dances are very popular in Balinese society, proved up to now still exist. Due to the high interest of the trainees so that they can understand andmeragakan that both dance correctly. Abstract

Writing scientific paper is mater that is felt hard the teacher the unit office of Sragen. This recall is a still a lack of facilities, infrastructure, and training that supports the competency of teaches about the written word. Looking at these conditions, the authors fell the need to perform service on the writing of scientific paper to support the promotion and certification for teahers. The aim of the training service to the communities in the form of teacher to be promoted to a higher level. In addition, as one component of certification is to construct a supporter of scientific writing. The method used in community service activities include training menthods, membring menthods, an menthod of forming a forum of scientific assessments. The training menthod is done by giving training to teacher on a regular basic every two works. Menthods of assistance were made to provide reinforcement tho the teacher in preparing scientific paper after training in completed. Establishment of a forum of scientific assessments a conducted regularly every month to motivate the teacher in the study of scientific writing. The result of this dedication teacher can more up to clas Iv without difficulty in the preparation of scientific paper and teachers can be certified.
