Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to find out: (1) the implementation process of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs, (2) the obstacles that arise in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs, and (3) the values that are grown/arisen in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs. The type of research conducted is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research and data analysis conducted show that the implementation of P5 with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs has been carried out starting from the introduction, contextual, action as well as reflection and follow-up stages. The obstacles faced by teachers in P5 can be overcome by inviting students to carry out entrepreneurial activities in a simpler way. Through the introduction of Dampo Pisang entrepreneurship in P5, students can foster an entrepreneurial spirit in students. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of banana dampo processing through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) on the creativity of fourth grade students of SD Integral Al-Bayan Hidayatullah Makassar. Creativity is an important aspect of student development, which can be developed through project-based learning activities. Banana dampo processing as a form of project in P5 activities was chosen because of its relevance to local wisdom and its ability to involve various aspects of students' skills, such as cooperation, innovation, and motor skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research with a one-group pretest posttest design using the subject, namely class IVB as many as 21 students as an experimental class. Data was collected through observation, creativity test instruments (pretest and posttest), and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis consisting of normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests using independent sample t-tests to see a significant influence between banana dampo processing activities and the level of student creativity. The results of this study show that banana dampo processing activities in P5 activities have a significant influence on increasing the creativity of grade IVB students of SD Integral Al-Bayan Hidayatullah. Students involved in this project show better creative thinking skills, especially in terms of idea development, problem-solving, and product innovation.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to identify the barriers experienced by third-grade students at Public Elementary School 226 Saukangnge, Sinjai Regency, in developing reading literacy, as well as to examine the factors contributing to their reading difficulties. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. The study was conducted at Public Elementary School 226 Saukangnge, located in Batu Belerang Village, Sinjai Borong Subdistrict, Sinjai Regency. The focus of the research includes reading literacy and the "Kampus Mengajar" (Teaching Campus) program. The instruments used in this study consisted of observation sheets, interview results, and documentation. The findings revealed that several students had difficulty recalling the complete alphabet, and some still lacked fluency in decoding words. Three students received focused assistance through reading activities. The implementation of classroom mentoring for students with low reading literacy had a significant impact on both their literacy skills and their personal development.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using digital comics as a visual medium in teaching expository writing at the secondary school level. The research employed an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of two groups: an experimental group that utilized digital comics and a control group that followed conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through writing proficiency tests and questionnaires measuring students’ interest and learning motivation. The findings revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The average writing test score of the experimental group was higher (82.4) compared to the control group (68.3), with a t-test result indicating a p-value of 0.000. Additionally, the questionnaire showed that 85% of students in the experimental group reported higher interest in learning, in contrast to 58% in the control group. These results suggest that digital comics can enhance expository writing skills and student motivation. The use of digital comics helps students better understand the structure of expository texts through engaging and interactive visual elements. In addition to improving students’ writing quality, digital comics also make the learning process more enjoyable and flexible. Therefore, this study concludes that digital comics can serve as an effective and innovative learning medium to enhance expository writing skills in the digital era.

Abstract

Abstrak: This study aims to describe the implementation of the drill method to enhance students’ entrepreneurial spirit and mathematics learning outcomes. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) approach conducted in two eyeles, with each cycle consisting of planning implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 17 third-grade students of SD Inpres Tangkala I, Makassar City. Data were collected through tests, observations, and assessment sheets, and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively using descriptive statistics. The results indicated that the application of a drill method, combined with an entrepreneurial approuach through a market day project, improved students’ learning outcomes. The average student score increased from 42.05 in the pre-actionstage to 72.94 in Cycle I, and further improved to 83.23 in Cycle II. This improvement demonstrates that the drill method is effective in enhancing students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and in developing entrepreneurial character trats such as creativity, courage, and independence in learning. With 88% of students achieving scores above the minimum mastery criteria, it can be concluded that this study successfully improved both student learning outcomes and entrepreneurial spirits.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using poster media in the English language teaching and learning process within early childhood education settings. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving 18 kindergarten students as research subjects. The findings indicate that the use of posters successfully captures students' attention, enhances their active participation during the learning process, and leads to satisfactory evaluation outcomes. Instructional media such as posters not only facilitate students’ comprehension of the material but also make the learning experience more engaging and interactive. This study highlights the importance of incorporating visual media like posters to improve the quality of English language learning for young children.

Abstract

Abstrac: This study examines the influence of social media on the language development of adolescents. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving adolescent social media users. The results indicate that social media has a significant impact on adolescent language, including vocabulary enrichment, the emergence of new slang, and the tendency to use informal language in daily communication. However, excessive use of non-standard language can reduce proficiency in formal Indonesian and lead to misunderstandings. The findings highlight the need for guidance in the use of language on social media to maintain the quality and identity of the Indonesian language among adolescents.

Abstract

Efforts to improve language literacy through education policies are a strategic step in strengthening the role of the Indonesian language as a symbol of national identity and as the main medium for learning. This article examines the implementation of language policies in the world of education, covering various approaches, challenges faced, and the impacts of their implementation. Various efforts have been made, such as the development of a linguistic competency-based curriculum, training for educators, providing relevant teaching materials, and increasing synergy between related institutions in supporting the success of the policy. However, the implementation of this policy still faces a number of obstacles, including differences in language proficiency levels among students, limited teaching staff, and the lack of adequate learning facilities and media. To ensure the effectiveness of this policy, ongoing evaluation and comprehensive integration between language policies and education policies are needed in order to provide optimal impacts on literacy development. Thus, Indonesian language literacy not only functions as a means of communication, but also becomes the main foundation in achieving inclusive and sustainable national education goals.

Abstract

Abstrak: From a sociolinguistic standpoint, this study investigates language use in the Mobile Legend virtual game community. The study analyzes how language serves as a medium for social cohesiveness, identity formation, and norm establishment in digital environments using a virtual ethnography technique. Participant observation and content analysis of interactions within Mobile Legend community platforms were used to gather data. The results show a number of unique patterns of language use, such as game-related specialized registers, linguistic variances impacted by players' sociocultural backgrounds, and language functions that promote unity and govern social standards. The study shows that language has a vital role in forming community identity and preserving social harmony in virtual gaming communities, in addition to being a medium for communication. In the quickly changing digital age, this study advances our knowledge of language dynamics in virtual communities and applies sociolinguistic theories to virtual settings.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of digital technology has significantly influenced the way we learn, including in the realm of language learning. This transformation requires the integration of digital literacy skills and language proficiency. This study was conducted to explore the role of technology in language learning in the digital age, to evaluate how effectively technology enhances the quality of learning, and to provide strategic recommendations for the sustainable use of technology in language education. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review. Data were collected from various relevant academic sources. The findings reveal that the use of technology, such as e-learning applications, social media, and digital communication platforms, can improve learning productivity, enhance the effectiveness of the learning process, and broaden access to learning resources. However, without proper regulation, the use of technology may also lead to issues such as decreased concentration and student dependency. Therefore, it is essential to develop well-planned strategies for technology use that focus on character development. In conclusion, technology plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of language learning, as long as it is used wisely and purposefully
