Abstract

The leadership style of the head of the room plays a very important role in improving nursing performance.  Based on the results of interviews with 10 nurses in the inpatient room of RSUD Rokan Hulu, it was found that nurses could not improve their performance because there was still a lack of direction from the head of the room when there was a problem in the room and the room head's ability to provide future goals was still low.  This study aims to determine the effect of the leadership style of the head of the room on the performance of nurses in the inpatient room of the Rokan Hulu Regional General Hospital.  This research is quantitative analytic observational with a cross-sectional design.  The study was conducted from August to September 2020. A sample of 82 respondents was taken using a proportional sampling technique.  Data generated by univariate, bivariate, multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression risk factor models.  The results showed that the performance of nurses was good 52.4%, good leadership style was 63.4%.  There is an influence of leadership style on nurse performance (p 0.004).  A good leadership style has the opportunity to improve the performance of nurses to be good 3,673 times after being controlled by tenure.  The conclusion is that there is an effect of leadership style on nurse performance after being controlled by tenure.  It is recommended for the hospital to provide training and provide leadership seminars to the head of the room so that the head of the room can lead and direct the nurse to work better, evaluate the leadership of the head of the room, implement a reward and punishment system.

The number of MMR in Indonesia is high among ASEAN countries, one of the causes is the low level of health services obtained during pregnancy. This condition can be prevented by regular and focused ANC by midwives who are skilled at therapeutic communication so that the visit of K1-K4 pregnant women can be realized. Pekanbaru has a coverage of K4 pregnant women visits that are still below the target, lower than K4 coverage in several other districts in Riau Province, one of the causes is due to the lack of maximal therapeutic communication for midwives in providing midwifery care. Abstract

Pregnancy is a normal, natural process that begins with the growth and development of an intrauterine fetus and starts from conception to delivery. (Dewi, 2011) Hemodilution occurs from 10 weeks of gestation and peaks at 32-36 weeks of gestation. If the hemoglobin is before about 11 g%, the occurrence of hemodilution will result in physiological anemia and Hb will be 9.5 to 10 g%. Based on the report of the Pekanbaru City Health Office (2012), the number of pregnant women suffering from mild-moderate anemia in Pekanbaru City in 2011 was 1105 people and in 2012 there were 703 people. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of giving guava in increasing HB levels in pregnant women with anemia at PMB Dince Safrina Pekanbaru. This type of research is quasi experimental (quasi-experimental) with a one group pretest posttest approach. Sampling in this study using non random sampling technique with purposive sampling. The population in this study were all anemia pregnant women at PMB Dince Syafrina in November 2020. The analyzes used were univariate and bivariate. The results showed that there was an effect of giving Fe tablet and guava juice therapy to the increase of hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with anemia. It is hoped that the special medical personnel for the Independent Practice of Midwife Dince Syafrina, SST, can formulate ways to treat anemia in pregnant women, namely not only providing therapy with iron tablets, but can combine it with 100 gr of guava per day and consumed 2 times a day. Abstract

Pregnancy is a period of crisis in a woman's life process. The period in which changes occur in all body systems, including the cardiovascular, respiratory, hormonal, gastrointestinal, and musculoskletal systems. Pregnant women during pregnancy experience physical and psychological changes that can cause discomfort from the 1st to 3rd trimesters. One of them is the enlargement of the uterus, it will affect the fulfillment of sleep rest because of difficulty in determining a comfortable position, besides hormonal changes can cause psychological changes in pregnant women making it difficult to meet and maintain sleep. Sleep is an important factor in overall health. Improving sleep quality can be done in many ways, which among them are pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques. Pharmacological method is a therapy commonly given to sleep disorder sufferers which functions to reduce anxiety, stress and give calm. But not for pregnant women, because it has the potential to increase the risk to the fetus and its impact on fetal growth and development. Therefore, choosing to use a non-pharmacological method is more appropriate, because its use has less side effects compared to pharmacological methods. One of the non-pharmacological techniques that can be given to overcome sleep difficulties in pregnant women includes relaxation techniques such as loving massage, yoga, progressive muscle relaxation, massage, music therapy, meditation, swimming, deep breathing techniques and walking.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of milk production and the production is slow, so that the mother cannot give enough milk to her baby. The cause of insufficient and slow breastfeeding is due to the presence of the hormone prolactin and the lactation process also depends on oxytocin. Massage rolling (back) is a relaxation therapy that aims to stimulate the central nervous system so that it can increase milk production, especially for post-partum mothers and can provide comfort and relaxation to the mother after childbirth. The rolling massage action (back) can affect the hormone prolactin, which acts as a stimulus for milk production in the mother during breastfeeding. There is also the aim of the results of this study that therapy or rolling massage (back) massage in post partum mothers can increase milk production. This research uses a quantitative approach, the method used in this research is quasi experimental. The type of design in this study was in the form of a non equivalent design (pretest and posttest). The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The population in this study were post partum mothers at the Pratama Deliana Clinic Pekanbaru who experienced unsanitary breastfeeding. The results showed that the rolling massage method (back) was effective for increasing milk production in postpartum mothers with a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05). It is hoped that the need for socialization about rolling massage to mothers since pregnancy, both in the class of pregnant women or during pregnancy visit counseling. Socialization can also be in the form of leaflets or banners about rolling massage.

Abstract

The incidence of primary dysmenorrhea can affect the quality of life, productivity and utilization of health services during the reproductive period of women. The incidence of primary dysmenorrhea also interferes with the daily activities of some adolescents because of the pain they feel (Sakinah, 2016). Cramps due to strong menstruation can cause endometriosis (growth of uterine tissue outside the uterus that causes pain), complaints of dysmenorrhea should always be taken seriously and efforts must be made to reduce its incidence (Corwin, 2009). One of the government's efforts to address adolescent problems is the establishment of the Youth Care Health Service Program (PKPR) (Depkes, 2009). As for the variables which are risk factors for menarche, exercise habits, menstrual length and family history.
