<![CDATA[Purpose and targets of the study - This study aims to determine the exact influence student motivation to work and that has not worked on learning achievement at the Polytechnic of Surabaya . Methodology - This research done using Analysis Techniques relianilitas test validity and statistical analysis is then used multiple linear regression , the coefficient of multiple determination , and F-test , the data required in this study were only scattered questionnaire for students who work or not work . In this study the sample size was determined by the investigators as much as 144. Into consideration in the determination of this sample , the NSC is all student Polytechnic of Surabaya , which consists of four (4 ) courses , ( Hospitality , Accounting , Business Administration and ComputerEngineeringforce in 2012 , 2011 , and 2010 . <![CDATA[Interest as a result of a person's thinking which after looking on the specifications of a productor service, and have a desire to try to meet a need, in this case the consumer will tend to actually choose, weigh and assess whether a product or service that is considered unknown consumers, so that when products or services are actuallyable to meet customer expectations, the consumer incurred an interest to try a product or service. The research method used is quantitative research that researchers did a survey of students, giving questionnaires, data processing, and interpret it. Research carried out by providing some of the questions considered represent three variables that affect the interest of the promotion, imaging, and quality of service. Sampling with a sample of as many as 59 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Analysis to determine the effect of independent variables and the dependent variable using linear regression analysis. From the analysis it can be seen that the promotion, imaging, and service quality significantly influence student interest.]]>

<![CDATA[Jurnal ini memaparkan tentang perancangan sistem kendali gerakan Hoist Crane menggunakan model reference Fuzzy Adaptive (model reference adaptive fuzzy control) untuk kendalian gerakan tak linier. Kendalian gerakan tak linier pada hoist crane yang dipilih untuk menguji efektifitas aturan kendali fuzzy adaptive melalui simulasi adalah model gerakan hoist crane tak linier yang pada dasarnya adalah tidak stabil. Aturan kendali fuzzy adaptive diturunkan menggunakan teori Lyapunov berdasarkan model linierisasi dari gerakan hoist crane. Model acuan yang dipilih adalah model linier yang telah distabilisasi. Kemudian dilakukan simulasi untuk mengamati kinerja MRAFC terhadap model tak linier. Jadi model tak linier dikendalikan menggunakan aturan kendali fuzzy adaptive yang diturunkan dari model linier. Kendali umpan-balik status (full state feedback control) melalui simulasi telah dibuktikan tak mampu menstabilkan gerakan hoist crane. MRAFC mampu melakukan dengan baik, bahkan untuk kasus dimana model parametrik kendali tidak diketahui secara pasti (uncertainty) atau berubah seiring waktu (time-varying). Hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam perancangan adalah bagaimana memilih model acuan sebijaksana mungkin, karena hal ini mempengaruhi tingkat kestabilan sistem kendali.]]>

<![CDATA[Paper ini menguraikan parameter motor induksi tiga-phasa yang akan dipakai melakukan prediksi kinerja motor induksi tersebut, ditentukan berdasarkan data yang tersedia dari pabrik dan dipasaran. Motor induksi tiga phasa tersebut mempunyai arus maksimum, arus starting, arus beban penuh dan factor kerja untuk beban penuh. Bila pengaturan gerakan tidak linier untuk mendapatkan kinerja yang optimum dari motor tersebut, maka parameter-parameter dari motor induksi tiga phasa perlu dikaji lagi dengan menggunakan Algoritma Genetika Binary. Hukum pengaturan Algoritma Genetika Binary dijabarkan dengan hukum liapunov pada pemodelan linier untuk gerakan crane. Referensi model dipilih untuk model linier yang stabil. Maka Simulasi dibentuk untuk keandalan Algoritma Genetika Binary pada model non linier. Simulasi control balik penuh ditunjukkan pada gerakan crane yang non linier. Adapun model yang digunakan dari motor tersebut adalah model d-q.]]>

<![CDATA[This riset analyzes the influence of professionalism of lecturers and lecture facilities on student achievement. Results found by using multiple regression analysis, showed that all the lecturers have sufficient professional competence in teaching, professional competence of faculty shortages seen in the implementation of tri dharma college in the field of research with not involve students in the study. Similarly, lectures facilities indicate that adequate facilities exist in the implementation of teaching and learning activities, only need to consider the supporting facilities of sports activities. All the results showed no influence of the professional competence of lecturers and lecture facilities on student achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[Accounting as an information provider in the economic decision making is influenced by the business environment is constantly changing due to globalization. As of now the application of new accounting standards is IFRS ( International Financial Reporting Standards ). Following adoption of IFRS ( International Financial Reporting Standards ) in Indonesia, which has started since January 1, 2012. There are many students who don’t understand or comprehend the IFRS. Could of it happening because of several factors, is 1 ) Lack of willingness of students to read the book or IFRS of looking at the social network 2 ) Lack of support or knowledge given by the lecturers them self; 3 ) The absence of a curriculum that includes learning about IFRS. Even should all or accounting students prepare for the accounting profession to understand the existing accounting standards in Indonesia today, it's just that until now has not been all too visible. So it needs a lot of ways to do to be able to prepare their self after I graduate from college and go to business. With this method of teaching material should be adjusted to IFRS competencies to be achieved. Besides accounting education is not only the responsibility of the college. The parties that have influence on the development of accounting is appropriate join this noble task. IAI ( Indonesian Institute of Accountants ) and DSAK ( Financial Accounting Standards Board ) should be actively involved to educate the business community in the face of change and not just make a change, such as teacher certification IFRS, IFRS training, financial accounting faculty board meeting. Accounting education, at all levels, do not miss the main target of success IFRSconvergence program. Therefore, many universities are changing financial accounting curriculum to include content of IFRS and train lecturers to be ready to teach IFRS even replace text books with the issue of IFRS. However, the accounting faculty as not having enough time to at least sit down and observeIFRS react proportionately.]]>

<![CDATA[Housekeeping department is a department that has the duty and responsibility in the cleanliness of the hotel area. In order to guarantee the smooth operation of the housekeeping department requires very high costs, therefore the Executive Housekeeper should perform operational control housekeeping activities so as to reduce the burden of these costs. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of maid of operational control in order to improve the cost efficiency of the company. The analysis used to achieve that goal is a qualitative descriptive analysis. The study was conducted in the Housekeeping department Weta International Hotel Surabaya. The results showed that after controlling operational activities, production costs to be incurred can be suppressed well, without reducing the quality of the products produced and the productivity of employees at work.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study are: 1) to describe the students’ satisfaction at NSC Polytechnic Surabaya, 2) to describe the students’ behavioral intentions (intentions to leave) at NSC Polytechnic Surabaya, and 3) to explain the effect of satisfaction on students' behavioral intentions (intentions to leave) at NSC Polytechnic Surabaya. The method used to achieve those goals was explanatory with descriptive and inferential analysis. Inferential analysis is performed using a simple linier regression with SPSS program version 19. Data were taken from 115 students of Business Administration, Accounting, Hospitality, and Computer Engineering Department with questionnaire who has been taking classes at least one semester using disproportioned stratified random sampling techniques. Questionnaires were filled with a total of 88 respondents (response rate 76.5%) and 86 questionnaires were analyzed. The results showed that: 1) the students’ satisfaction is high (mean 3.71); 2) the student’s behavioral intentions (intentions to leave) is low (mean 2.19); and 3) the students’s satisfaction has a negative significant effect on behavioral intentions (intentions to leave) with a determination coefficient of 24.3%. It means, the higher the student's satisfaction, the lower the students' intentions to leave at NSC Polytechnic Surabaya.]]>

<![CDATA[Pada masa kini seringkali diadakan event organize di tempat-tempat tertentu dan terkadang dibutuhkan sebuah benda untuk simulasi sebuah produk atau karya. Biasanya benda tersebut akan dibuat berbentuk nyata atau dibentuk lebih besar dengan biaya yang mahal serta butuh waktu. Sebenarnya hal tersebut bisa diwujudkan dalam bentuk nyata tetapi tanpa harus membuatnya. Keuntungan lebih bisa juga di dapat pada efisiensi waktu dan bahan karena tidak membutuhkan biaya mahal. Apalagi karya ini bisa di pakai berulang-ulang dan dapat di modifikasi sesuai kebutuhan event yang berbeda. Pembuatan karya ini bisa kita mulai dari sebuah proyektor yang di tujukan pada sebuah selembar kain putih dengan lekukan yang bisa kita buat sendiri. Lalu film yang di tampilkan tersebut merupakan sebuah video simulasi yang bisa kita buat dengan software editing video. Video tersebutlah yang membuat benda tersebut menjadi tampak nyata. Peluang bisnis pada karya ini sangat menjangkau dunia bisnis internasional akan puluang event organize dan bisa dikembangkan ke jenjang yang lebih jauh.]]>
