Abstract

Cellular services industry in Indonesia is currently located in the saturated, inwhich development can’t run as fast as before, even to decline. In times ofsaturated, if the market penetration can’t produce high profits, keeping thecustomer loyalty is one of the best ways for company to gain profit. The way tomaintain customer loyalty is to satisfy customers. But, in the hypercompetitif era,not only customer satisfaction is needed to maintain customer loyalty. Severalcompanies are also implementing the same customer satisfaction strategy, socustomers have a great power to move. To anticipate the movement of customers,it is necessary to apply another strategy. Biaya peralihan which are costs to beborne by the customer if the customer decides to switch, also serves to maintaincustomer loyalty. One of the biaya peralihan strategies adopted by Telkomsel tomaintain the customers loyalty is to making “simPATIzone” community for it’scustomer. Therefore the study aims are to examine and analyze the impact ofcustomer satisfaction on customer loyalty with biaya peralihan as a moderatorvariable on the simPATI phone card customers (studies on “simPATIzone”community In The WTC’s Surabaya). This study is a causal research. Thepopulation in this study is age 16-65 years, do not have other brands of GSMcard, and have been using phone cards simPATI for at least 1 year. Samplescollected as many as 210 respondents using accidental sampling technique.Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire, and data were analyzed withModerate Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that biaya peralihanbe a moderate variable is weakened the impact of customer satisfaction tocustomer loyalty. The result of regression, estimate adjusted R2 on 0,969 and thisaimed 96,9% changes of customer loyalty is depends of customer satisfaction,biaya peralihan, and interaction variable, and the other of variable aimed 3,1%.Suggested for other examined, to making biaya peralihan be second independentvariable in order not weakened the impact of customer satisfaction to customerloyalty.Key Words: customer satisfaction, biaya peralihan, customer loyalty

Abstract

Social welfare problems which is noted as Penyandang Masalah Kesejahteraan Sosial (PMKS) in Indonesia, is urgently needed to be solved. Jakarta Dean Capital (Jakarta DC) as promising city to every Indonesian citizens is the most troubled with PMKS. Hence local goverment is accused to handle PMKS problem by issuing various programs. The objective of the study therefore is to evaluate the role of local government in handling PMKS problem. Research design is constructed as field research method in three (3) locations PSAA. Study showed that local government should involve the relevant agencies such as Social Services, Satpol PP, Public Health Service and the Police in handling PMKS problems. Outreach result is suggested to be handed over to Social Institutions “Bina Insan Bangun Daya” for temporary shelter in order to classify type of PMKS. PMKS-Street Children types are referred to the Social Institutions “Anak Putra Utama.”Key Words : Jakarta DC, PMKS, local government, street children

Abstract

The determination of dividend policy is influenced by two factors: financial and nonfinancial factors. The study focuses more on financial aspects that directly describe the condition of a company. The purpose of the study is thus to examine the effect of financial ratios which are consists of Return on Investment (ROI), Cash Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning per Share (EPS) on dividend policy. Dividend policy was measured using Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Result shows that ROI, CR, DER and EPS significantly influence DPR simultaneously. Partially, DER shows dominant influence on DPR.Key Words : Return on Investment, Cash Ratio, Debt to Equty Ratio, Earning per Share, Dividend Payout Ratio

Abstract

Job satisfaction plays an important role on the work performance of employee. when an employee are satisfied in the work then an employee will do everything possible with all the skills to complete the task, which will eventually produce a good performance and achievement for the company. The object in this study was employees of shoes factory located in Balaraja, Tangerang. The number of employees totaled 10.600 people, but the study sample only 414 people using the convenience sampling technique. Determinant of job satisfaction used in this study is the opportunity for advancement, job security, working conditions, compensation, promotion, supervision, coworkers, and management companies. Analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. In descriptive analysis, this value can be represented either by the mean. The results indicate that employees are satisfied with job security. Finally, provide input to the factors of job satisfaction that results are less good.Key Words : job satisfaction, determinants of job satisfaction, job performance

Abstract

The propose of the study are to find out whether the brand, country of origin, trust towards company, and the price in effect on hair extension product purchasing decisions in Surabaya This type of research is explanatory research, because this study aims to analyze the relationship between one variable with another variable or how a variable affects another variable. This study uses quantitative methods where the method of this study used a sample and using quantitative data or statistical. This population was drawn from all residences aged 15-44 years in Surabaya and the numbers there are 1.537.077 people. This study uses non-probability sample design, which means the selection of samples based on the assessment of individual elements in the selection process. From the test results of partial and simultaneous that the brand, country of origin, trust in company, and prices significantly influence the purchase decisions of products hair extensions in Surabaya.Key Words : brand, country of origin, trust in company, price, purchase decision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and identify antecedents of female student entrepreneurial intention. This research attempts to investigate whether self-efficacy, perceptions of opportunities, prior knowledge of other entrepreneurs, and fear of failure are predictors of female student intention to be entrepreneur. As much as 233 students in their final year, selected proportionally from 12 study programs in Gunadarma University participated in the survey. Data was collected using questionnaire. The results suggest that self-efficacy and perceptions of opportunities were antecedent for entrepreneur intention, while prior knowledge of other entrepreneurs and the fear of failure were not a determining factor for female student entrepreneurial intention.Key Words : antecedent, self-efficacy, entrepreneur intention, female student
