Abstract

Malnutrition is one of the public health problems that existed during the pandemic; both problems, under and overnutrition, existed. Furthermore, malnutrition can worsen the infection in all groups, including children. The risk of being infected was higher in the malnutrition group than in the well-nourished one. This article aimed to review the risk of malnutrition and possibly related factors in children during the pandemic. This article used the literature review method and was conducted by the initial 2022 from several countries. The object included in the analysis was children's health and nutrition related. The source of articles highlighted the occurrence of malnutrition in children. The source of articles was from PubMed and Cochrane Library, which resulted in 21 eligible papers. The result of the study found that the identified possible factors are self-isolation, physical activity, dietary patterns, nutrient shortage, and socioeconomic factors. There was a shift in dietary patterns among children during the COVID-19 pandemic due to several factors. Those are the scarcity of food sources and compensation for the lockdown, and those findings confirmed the possibility of under- and overnutrition among children. In low-middle income countries (LMICs), the risk of malnutrition problems in this pandemic has heightened the magnitude of the public health problem. The mitigation program should overcome the existing problem to minimize the adverse effect of malnutrition among children.

Abstract

E-Government has become the main driver in the transformation of public services through the management of Information Technology (IT). In this context, it is important to understand the positive impact produced by IT, as well as identify obstacles and effective management strategies to optimize E-Government. This research aims to investigate developments and challenges related to E-Government through IT management, as well as to identify effective strategies for dealing with these dynamics. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data analysis from various research sources and previous studies that are relevant to the research topic. The results of this research provide in-depth insight into the role of IT in E-Government, the challenges that need to be overcome, as well as effective strategies for managing government IT. In the future, collaboration between the public and private sectors, integration of advanced technology, and response to cyber security threats will be the key to the success of an E-Government that is more efficient and relevant to society's demands. Abstract

This study provides a systematic literature review on the application of behavioral economics, particularly the nudge theory, in shaping public policy and influencing economic outcomes. As traditional economic models assume rational decision-making, behavioral approaches challenge this by highlighting systematic biases, heuristics, and cognitive limitations in individual choices. This review synthesizes findings from 50 peer-reviewed articles and policy reports from 2010 to 2024, exploring how nudge-based interventions have been utilized in domains such as taxation, savings, energy conservation, and public health. The study categorizes nudges into types—defaults, simplifications, reminders, and social norm framing—and evaluates their effectiveness across various economic settings. The findings suggest that nudges are cost-effective, scalable, and adaptable, but their long-term impact and ethical considerations remain contested. This paper contributes to the discourse on evidence-based policymaking by offering insights into the design and evaluation of behavioral tools for public governance.

Abstract

Abstract

One of the ways to actualize the Tri Dharma of Higher Education is through community service activities, and this initiative is reflected in the collaboration between Gunadarma University and the AgenKultur Foundation, an independent organization focusing on social, cultural, and educational development. Within this foundation, PKBM Tan Malaka serves as the main educational unit. Through this partnership, training sessions in computer science and basic economics were provided for students enrolled in Package B and C programs. Given the increasing reliance on digital technology today, the training modules emphasized the introduction and practical use of the internet as a tool for digital marketing. In addition to technical training, Gunadarma University also offered an online Public Lecture designed to give students insight into the latest trends in information technology, particularly within computer science and its relevance to economic activities.
