Abstract

Many countries have successfully to applied the Lean Government concept in administration sector especially over Indonesian government sector. The developing of government public sector is a right choices to improve service quality to the public. Thus, in this study aims to design Lean Government with DMAIC method and Lean Consumption Map tools (LCM), respectively. This method was used to increase positive impact over performance administrative copy document on building tax especially in the Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) South Tangerang City. The result showed, a comparison between administrative document over Bapenda, South Tangerang City is different during quantitative observation from external and internal correspondence. To improve the service process over administrative copy document, we use DMAIC and Lean Consumption Map application. The significantly improvement has been obtained by the time over administrative copy document process in the Bapenda, South Tangerang City

Abstract

In this globalization era, Indonesian entrepreneurs of SME food product need to be more competitive in order to growing some level in the entrepreneurs from other countries. The competitiveness of entrepreneurs is strongly required and emphasized by the government to growth the economy. Therefore, this study is conducted to identify category of global competitiveness of Riau SME special food products entrepreneur in Pekanbaru, Sumatera, Indonesia. This study also examine the differences between global competitiveness and education level of Riau SME special food products entrepreneur in Pekanbaru, Sumatra, Indonesia. The study is quantitative using a questionnaire instrument to 103 entrepreneurs from Riau SME special food products’ entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru. The findings show that the level of global competitiveness of SME entrepreneurs of Riau food products in Pekanbaru is at a moderate level (Min = 3.29, SP = 0.64). This means that the global competitiveness of SME entrepreneurs of Riau food products in Pekanbaru is categorized as neither high nor low. It indicates that Riau SME special food products’ entrepreneur in Pekanbaru have not competitiveness as recommended by the Indonesian government as well as they are not ready to face the increasingly competitive challenges of globalization. Therefore, to improve the level of competitiveness will need to improve the aspects that affect the competitiveness of the ability to explore market opportunities, ICT usage, innovation activities and self-development of entrepreneurs. The result of research also show that there is difference global competitiveness based on education level [F (3, 99) = 145.06, p = 0.00

Abstract

Lean thinking is used to analyse manufacturing sector namely lean manufacturing over industrial process. In addition, the development lean thinking over government sector is a right choices to improve quality of government service. Thus, this aimed to test the Lean Government algorithm with Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) and Lean Consumption Map (LCM) method over government service. By using comparison completion time over building tax object and registration file document at Badan Pendapatan Daerah (BAPENDA) South Tangerang. The result showed, Lean Government algorithm was successful to assess comparison method with Time Series Plot, Value Added Assessment, and Lean Consumption Map. In this study, we use qualitative research methods and interview with internal and external correspondence, respectively. We found that the DMAIC application and Lean Consumption Map inside the Lean Government algorithm will be improve the time of settlement document and service process over BAPENDA South Tangerang

Abstract

Finance non-bank (leasing) is a private company that have services to measure the performance of non-financial behaviour employees, ability employees, and customer satisfaction. This company can be determined with the performance combination in internal and external company over leasing. The internal factors are owned to combined by external factors over owned company. Here, we analyse service of by PT. Mandiri Utama Finance to consumers over credit financing motorcycle or cars property. The consumers of Mandiri Utama Finance joined a dealer to buy the motorcycle or cars. On the other hand, consumers (as a dealer) was nominated for buyers motorcycle or cars. Thus, inside of PT. Mandiri Utama Finance is a surpass competition between company leasing, and purchasing process to order from dealer to PT. Mandiri Utama Finance. The effort to increased quality from services of customer satisfaction, the companies need to measuring the degree of quality per-years. One of them are applied over methods and lean service. The Lean service at this research are applied to asses concept and method lean six sigma over PT. Mandiri Utama Finance with methodology namely DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control)

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse the transformation leadership style on employee performance case study motivation mediation over Kansai Prakarsa Coatings company. In this study, we used descriptive method to analyse the transformation over all division staffs working in the Kansai Prakarsa Coatings company with sampling technique using non probability sampling over 205 data observations. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) with LISREL are proposed in this study to obtain non probability sampling. The result shows transformation leadership style gives positive impact and significant influence to employee performance. The Motivation work also significant increased to employee performance over this company. The dimension of transformation leadership needs more attention to execute leadership orders and discipline work. The motivation needs to improve attention from the leadership to employees feel satisfied and have a good performance. This method is recommended to train staff at the leadership level to design transformation leadership models and increase employee motivation in near future.

Abstract

Public service over Regional Government in Indonesia is considered doesn’t good enough. The lean government programs is used to improve public services in Tangerang, West Java, Indonesia. In this study, we analyse the mutation services for object/subject on Land and Building Taxes over Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) using lean government concept. The lean government concept is uses the DMAIC mechanism (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). In order to obtain failure mode, we use Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to improve mutation process service for object/subject on land and building tax. In this study we uses qualitative research method to take the data observation based on interview also documents and records from 30 correspondence. The results showed the applied concept of lean government programs could be increase the submission process of mutation services for object/subjects of Land and Building Taxes to 28.6% with average time reduced 8 days (from 28 days to 20 days).

Abstract

Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) has the potential to generate air pollution due to the development for the next twenty years. This study aims to identify and analyse pollutant concentrations level in the ITERA. The parameters used are Sulphur dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Ozone (O3), Hydrocarbon (HC), PM10, and Dust (TSP) based on PP RI No.41 at 1999 of National Ambient Air Quality Standard. The measurement results show the ambient air quality the highest concentration of pollutant occurred at the ITERA main gate is hydrocarbon which had the concentration 453 μg/m3 below the national standard at both sampling points.

Abstract

Bureaucracy in Indonesia have problematic in public services performance due to lack of apparatus resources quality. Here, the solution to solve the problem cannot fixed. By using the lean thinking concept, we can improve this problem to fix it. This concept namely lean government to find best solution whether the application of Lean Government concept with Lean Consumption Map (LCM) and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). This method can be applied in public services, especially in the Indonesian ID Card service process over Department of Population and Civil Registration of South Tangerang, West Java, Indonesia. In this study, we use qualitative research methods to obtained the data based on survey, observations, interview, analysis of documents and records or reports from Department of Population and Civil Registration, South Tangerang, West Java, Indonesia. The result showed, Value to Waste Ratio increased from 9.1% to 43% while in the provider side from 7.2% to 46%. This study shows that the Lean thinking methodology can be embraced by public services to create an efficient and effective process in reducing the service process time.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the optimalization stock portfolio as a basis of investment inside company stocks in LQ45 on Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this research, we use data observation from January 2013 to December 2017 with quantitative method to obtain population over 11 manufacturing companies based single index model. The results showed 5 stocks became to portfolio candidates from the 11 candidate stocks studied which is 5 optimal portfolio shares had a return of 0.019 or equal 1.98% per month. Here, the 5 optimal portfolio have a risk and must be faced by investors shares around 0.007 or equal to 0.07%. The 5 optimal portfolio namely UNVR, ICBP, GGRM, KLBF, and INDF to share over investors. The fund proportion can be invested by 5 shares such as UNVR, ICBP, GGRM, KLBF, and INDF are equal 56.06%, 16.14%, 7.86%, 16.42% and 3.52%, respectively. The Return on bullish conditions shows that the portfolio returns is calculated from selected five stocks to obtain optimal portfolio formation reached 0.021. Furthermore, the return on bearish conditions have risk value more than 0.008. Thus, the optimal portfolio in bullish conditions can reduced investment risk more than 0.011 poins. Thus, the optimal portfolio can be reduced risk value over low level in bearish conditions in LQ45 manufacturing company in near future
