The existence of mangrove forest resources at Graha Indah Mangrove Center (MCGI) in Balikpapan City certainly will not provide optimal value for benefits without sustainability in management. As For Objective of this study is to review and analyze mangrove management sustainability at Mangrove Center Graha Indah (MCGI) in Balikpapan. This study used quantitative positivist approach conducted longitudinally due to its sustainability nature. Study data is questionnaire scores distribution of sustainability dimension conducted by 25 judgment expert. Data analysis was done using Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) through Rap-Mangrove MCGI approach. Study result concluded that mangrove management at Mangrove Center Graha Indah (MCGI) in Balikpapan held the status quite sustainable (59,23) in multidimensional term. Meanwhile, all five dimension were also included in the status category of quite sustainable, those are ecology dimension (51,42), economy dimension (56,97), social cultural dimension (55,68), technology and information dimension (55,43), and legal and institutional dimension (61,83). Though this mangrove forest held the status quite sustainable, to improve its sustainability it is suggested to improve those sensitive attributes and particularly so that Local Government of Balikpapan should carry an active role by not only publishing regulation or provision related with management and conservation of mangrove in this region, but also in funding and strengthening institutional structure.

Mining activities have a negative impact on the environment. The ecosystem around the nickel extraction area of Pomalaa District has been heavily polluted. disrupting the functions of the ecosystem. This study aims to assess the ecosystem function in the country of nickel mining in the Pomalaa district. The LFA results in the three regions have a terrestrial stability of 38.40 ± 1.3% (North Mine), 37.43 ± 1.3% (Central Mine) and 31.47 ± 0, 5% (south mine). The water infiltration index was 25.8 ± 2.3% (North T.), 24.63 ± 1.8% (Middle T.), 24.70 ± 0.5% (South Mine). ) and the nutrient cycle was 16.37 ± 3% (North Mine), 14.3 ± 0.5 (Central Mine), 13.83 ± 0.07 (South Mine). Low Complexity Index of 5 (North Mine), 4 (Central Mine) and 3 (South Mine) showing undeveloped habitat. It can be concluded that the ecosystem of the Kec nickel district. Pomalaa has experienced a disruption of regulatory functions, habitat and ecosystem biomass production is not well.

Accident risk analysis using the job risk assessment method on the implementation of the gas pipe installation project at PT. XYZ Tangerang. This study discusses the value of risk from each stage of the gas pipe installation work carried out by PT. XYZ in 2014. Risk assessment is done by analyzing the probability value, exposure, and consequences of each stage of the gas pipe installation work which is then categorized according to the AS/NZS 4360 semi-quantitative risk level standard on Risk Management to determine the level of risk at each stage of work gas pipe installation. This study is a descriptive analytic study using the AS/NZS 4360: 2004 semi-quantitative method. The results of the study that the overall risk level category at the gas pipeline installation stage is Acceptable from 112 types of hazards, the average value of the overall probability, exposure and consequence of 13.40% with the total risk reduction of 72.62%.

Water is a chemical compound that has a very important role in the survival of humans and other living things, especially for needs as drinking water. Therefore, before being made as drinking water it needs to be processed to reduce the level of pollution to a safe level. One way is through drinking water depots. The results of this study concluded that drinking water depots in Central Buton District that the results of location observations carried out on 12 depots in the field were 83.33% effective and 16.66% refill depots were ineffective. The building assessment carried out at 12 refill depots in Central Buton District obtained 83.33% and 16.66% refill depots. Testing of raw water carried out on 12 depots was obtained 100% did not meet the criteria for production water. Production water at 12 refill depots in Central Buton District was 58.33% and those that met the effective criteria and 41.66% were included in the ineffective criteria. In terms of washing and writing gallons to consumers obtained 75% data and 25% refill depots that fall into the ineffective category. More about the yard that 58.33% and the remaining 41.66% refill depots included in the ineffective category.

University of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka it is young to be aware of the work facilities and the setting of a good and healthy working environment. The University of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka is also very concerned also in intensive good working standards, but the University of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka has not noticed whether education personnel use keyboards and mice ergonomic or not ergonomic. There is a relationship between educational knowledge level to the use of mouse and keyboard ergonomics at the University of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka. The analysis Model used is a simple linear analysis. There is a relationship between the educational knowledge level to the use of mouse and keyboard ergonomics in the scope of the University of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka. From the value of coefficient the relationship in the gain R count (0.850) > R table (0.340) with a significance level of 5% (N = 30), then in this cased has a very strong value. There is a specific approach that exists in the discipline of ergonomics is the systematic application of all relevant information relating to the characteristics and behaviours in the design of equipment, facilities and work environment that used. We recommend training about the ergonomics of office information Systems, which is done at least 1 year 2 times and Applied safety campaign about ergonomics in the computer office information System, the existence of safety sign or delivery at the time or joint meeting of the principal.

Chemicals hazardous are single or mixed chemical form based on chemical, physical characteristic and toxicology to the installation worker and environment (Regulation Minister of Labor RI No.187/MEN/1999). One of the industries used chemicals is automotive industries. Auto 2000 is one of the company for repairing and painting particular automotive vehicle body, the used various of chemicals and it can be caused a great impact to the health, especially if do not properly handle. The purpose of this research is to determine how far knowledge, attitude and practice can be used to handle the chemicals hazardous of car painting Auto 2000 Body and Paint Balikpapan. Combination of qualitative and quantitative studies is one of advantage if this research. Data obtained will be analyzed using effectiveness theory. The research subjects were used 30 employees in auto 2000 body and paint Balikpapan. Knowledge, attitude and handling of chemicals hazardous in the car painting auto 2000 body and pain Balikpapan is a satisfied category which the following category: knowledge ratio 85.2%, attitude ratio 89% and action 86.4%. Based on the characteristic of the respondent, age and formal education it finds out that significant effect handling of chemicals hazardous. But the most affect handling of chemicals hazardous are working period and followed by training frequency.

Hydrogen sulfide is an irritant for the lungs, classified as an asphyxiant because the main effect is to paralyze the respiratory centre (Soemirat 2003). The North Processing Unit (NPU) is a facility owned by PT. Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, Oily Water Treatment Platform (OWTP) is one part of the NPU process, flotator unit on the 29 October 2017 showed the value of hydrogen sulfide concentration of 14 ppm ( threshold value of 1 ppm, Permenakertrans Nomor PER. 13/MEN/X/2011). The purpose of the study was to find out hydrogen sulfide exposure in the work environment of case studies on PT. Pertamina Hulu Mahakam workers. This is done by giving a hydrogen sulfide related questionnaire. Based on the measurement data on the 22 June 2018, flotator unit of 7 ppm. Based on the calculation results, workers who smell hydrogen sulfide in the OWTP work area are 86,7% in the low- risk category, workers who are disturbed by the smell of hydrogen sulfide is 73,3% in the medium risk category, workers with painful eye complaints/ watery eyes/ cough of 56,7% in the low-risk category and 43,4% in the medium risk category, the level of knowledge of hydrogen sulfide workers was 76,7% in the good category.

The dangers of both physical and biological hazards work environment need to be controlled in such a way that created a safe, healthy and comfortable work environment. The dangers of the work environment such as occupational illness, occupational illness and occupational accidents. There are various ways to overthrow such hazards such as technique control, administrative control and personal protective equipment. Workers already use personal protective equipment (helmets, goggles, cotton gloves, work clothes and safety shoes but still exposed to skin worm disease. Because the part that often affected by skin worm disease is the part of the hand then tried to be controlled with personal protective equipment in the form of gloves. The purpose of this research is to know how the effectiveness of the use of personal protective equipment for the prevention of skin worm disease in the work of USN Kolaka campus in Tangketada subdistrict. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive describing or describing a state of sewage work and gutter and its relation to skin worm disease. Existing secondary data is collected and tested for its effectiveness on the use of additional personal protective equipment. The results of the study using the Chi-Square test manually that the result is χ2 (count) 2.7 smaller than χ ² (table) (χ ² 0.05 | 1 |) amounting to 3,481 then early hypothesis was accepted that the use of personal protective equipment was ineffective against the prevention of Skin worm disease in the excavation work and hoarding USN Kolaka campus in Tangketada subdistrict.

The road sweeper in doing work is very vulnerable with a variety of risks, especially the risk of safety and health such as the risk of hearing loss due to noise, stress, dehydration, getting hit by vehicles, and health disorders due to fatigue, bacterial, impaired respiratory system due to inhaling the smoke of vehicles and dust, or viruses. The purpose of the research is to know the Hazard and risks, to the safety and health of the worker. The research methodology used is a qualitative interface with a cross-sectional design. In conducting identification and risk assessment using Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC), AS/NZS 4360 Standard. The highest risk value (Extreme) is at the hazard of motor vehicles with the risk of being hit by motor vehicles (deceased) 1 (one) category. Total Risk Rating 31 categories with detailed 1 (one) category Extreme, 13 (thirteen) category High, 9 (Nine) Medium category, and category Low as many as 8 (eight) categories.

Analysis of the level of compliance and knowledge of employees with the protection of safety signs, whether it affects the level of awareness of workers on the danger of working safety at PT Geoservices Balikpapan. The method used in this study is a method with a quantitative approach through questionnaires and then in view of a qualitative approach through observation and interviews aiming to get a full picture of the influence Compliance and knowledge of occupational safety. There is a result of a double linear association which is: Y = 2,782 +1, 000X1 +1, 000X2 which if the relationship of constant coefficient a = 2,782 indicate that if compliance and knowledge remain/do not experience addition or subtraction, then occupational and safety constant value of 2.782. Each increment of one unit of safety signs compliance then occupational safety will increase by 1,000. Each increase in knowledge of safety signs of one unit and then safety will increase by 1,000. In addition, there is a percentage result of the tested coefficient of determination which is used to determine how large the percentage of contributions of independent variable influence simultaneously on its dependencies variable. This is shown with the result of a coefficient of determination in the level of knowledge on occupational safety shows the value of 0,643 so that the contribution of the knowledge independent variable of 64,3% to the dependent variable of occupational safety While the rest is 35,7% in influence other factors.
