The evolving nature of beauty in digital fine arts aesthetics signifies profound shifts within contemporary social and cultural contexts. Technological advancements have enabled artists to explore new mediums, creating works that reflect and respond to current societal issues. This study examines the paradigm shift in digital fine arts, focusing on the interpretation and manifestation of beauty in digital creations. It explores the interplay between digital aesthetics and societal realities, providing insights into the transformation of beauty in the digital age. An interdisciplinary approach is utilized, incorporating textual analysis of relevant literature, participatory observation at art exhibitions and online platforms, and a comprehensive literature review. These methods trace the evolution of beauty in digital fine arts and analyze how artists incorporate visual, auditory, and interactive elements. The research demonstrates that technological progress has significantly impacted the creation and perception of beauty in fine arts. This transformation includes broader definitions of aesthetics, integrating multisensory experiences and community participation. Digital fine arts now serve as a dynamic medium that reflects diverse social, political, and cultural themes. The transformation of beauty in this field underscores the complex relationships among art, technology, and society. Digital artworks provide innovative aesthetic experiences and mirror contemporary social dynamics. Despite concerns regarding the authenticity and preservation of digital art, its role in expanding artistic expression and fostering innovation is undeniable

Abstract

The world today is highly interconnected. To address the manpower shortage in Japan and the surplus in Indonesia 30 years ago, both countries developed an internship program, "Ginou Jisshu." During the internship, participants with Indonesian culture-based individual characteristics are exposed to Japanese work culture. This study aimed to investigate how interns' individual characteristics and their assimilation of Japanese work culture improve their competency and competitiveness, considering self-efficacy as a moderating factor. Using a quantitative research method, data from 400 internship alumni across 38 provinces in Indonesia were collected through Google Form questionnaires and analyzed using PLS-SEM. Out of 10 proposed hypotheses, all direct effect hypotheses were accepted, and 3 of the moderation hypotheses were accepted, while 2 were rejected. This study introduces a novel paradigm where any positive effect, regardless of statistical significance, is considered beneficial. It suggests that resolving issues, even minor ones, can amplify positive effects and mitigate negative effects. The findings reveal that individual characteristics and Japanese work culture positively affect competency and competitiveness, and competency further enhances competitiveness. Self-efficacy strengthens the impact of individual characteristics and Japanese work culture on competency, as well as the impact of Japanese work culture and competency on individual competitiveness. However, it weakens the effect of individual characteristics and competency on individual competitiveness.

This study examines the integration of technopreneurship with pro-environmental behavior to achieve sustainable carbon emission reduction in Central Kalimantan. Focusing on the Dayak-Banjar communities, the research aims to develop a model that leverages local wisdom and technopreneurial activities to promote environmental conservation. The methodology includes qualitative research through interviews and questionnaires distributed in Baung, Muara Dua, and Kuala Pembuang villages. Findings reveal that local communities, deeply affected by environmental degradation, are willing to adopt pro-environmental behaviors. Key factors influencing this change include attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and knowledge. The study highlights the potential of technopreneurship in promoting sustainable practices and provides a foundation for designing policies that support pro-environmental behavior through technopreneurship. By fostering pro-environmental behavior within local communities, this research demonstrates that it is possible to balance ecological conservation with economic growth, aligning with SDG 13, SDG 15, and SDG 8.

Abstract

Understanding the determinants of employee performance is crucial for achieving organizational success. This study investigates how self-efficacy and work discipline affect employee performance at Panti Sasana Tresna Werdha RIA Pembangunan. Using a full sample of 50 employees, the research employed various analytical techniques, including tests for validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, as well as multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, F tests, and T-tests. The T-test results indicated that both self-efficacy (t-count 2.056 > t-table 2.012, p < 0.05) and work discipline (t-count 4.868 > t-table 2.012, p < 0.05) have significant positive effects on employee performance. The multiple correlation analysis demonstrated a strong positive relationship between self-efficacy, work discipline, and employee performance (correlation coefficient 0.844). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.713, showing that these two factors account for 71.3% of the variance in employee performance, with the remaining 28.7% attributed to other variables not included in this study, such as work motivation, compensation, work environment, and leadership. These findings indicate that boosting self-efficacy and reinforcing work discipline are essential for enhancing employee performance. Therefore, organizations should invest in comprehensive training and development programs to cultivate these qualities and maintain high performance levels among their staff.

Abstract

Healthy eating behavior is becoming increasingly prevalent in Indonesia, especially after the COVID-19 outbreak from 2020-2022, which highlighted the importance of diet for immunity. Generation Z, being a significant part of the Indonesian population, presents an opportunity for targeted public health promotions. This study aims to explore Generation Z attitudes towards healthy food to develop an effective Foodpreneur design strategy. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and literature studies involving 29 Gen Z participants from various campuses. The research applied the design thinking method and the empathy map to derive a comprehensive strategy. The results revealed that while Gen Z acknowledges the importance of healthy eating for a balanced lifestyle, they face barriers such as economic constraints, taste preferences, and accessibility. However, there is a clear enthusiasm for promoting local and sustainable food practices. The findings suggest that an effective Foodpreneur design strategy should emphasize educating Gen Z on the benefits of local and healthy food, creating engaging and relatable promotional content, and leveraging social media to enhance awareness and accessibility. This approach can foster a culture of health consciousness and support local economies, aligning with Gen Z values and behaviors.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction (CST) is a critical focus for both public and private organizations due to its significant impact on business success. In this context, ethical sales behavior, perceived trust, customer loyalty, and green experience are identified as key factors influencing CST. This study aims to examine the relationships among these variables within public sector organizations in the UAE. Primary data were collected from 224 respondents using a structured questionnaire. The data analysis was conducted utilizing descriptive statistics, multivariate assumptions, and a two-step approach that included both measurement and structural models. Structural equation modeling techniques were employed to test the relationships between the variables, grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV) and expectation confirmation theory. The findings reveal that perceived trust, customer loyalty, and green experience significantly and positively impact customer satisfaction among public firms in the UAE. However, ethical sales behavior did not demonstrate a significant direct effect on customer satisfaction. These results provide valuable insights for policymakers and administrative representatives in the UAE public sector. To enhance customer satisfaction, it is recommended that public sector organizations prioritize building trust and loyalty while integrating green practices into their operations. Although ethical sales behavior does not directly affect customer satisfaction, it remains crucial for influencing trust and loyalty. The study underscores the importance of these factors in driving customer satisfaction and offers practical recommendations for public sector organizations aiming to improve their service quality and customer relations.
