Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and assess how well the information system of fixed assets implemented by PT TMS (including general control and application control) in minimizing the current risks through the implemented controls. The methodology used is literature study by collecting data from a variety of books related to the topic and field research, such as observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Results of the evaluation are risks that exist in the system presented in the form of matrix of risk and control which consist of problem findings, potential risks (impact and likelihood) and the reliability of existing control (design and effectiveness). The general control applied by the company is found quite well, but the application control still needs improvement.

Abstract

Stochastic process has an important role in many areas in everyday life, including the customer service process. The number of customers who come to a service center will be different for each particular time. A special form of stochastic process with continuous time and discrete state space is periodic Poisson process, which is a Poisson process with an intensity function of a periodic function. However, on the stochastic modeling of a phenomenon by a periodic Poisson process, the intensity function of the process is generally unknown. Therefore, a method is needed to infer the function. In this article, a Kernel estimator is formulated from a periodic Poisson process with a trend component in a rank function, which is divided into two cases; the identified rank function coefficient and the unidentified rank function coefficient.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to apply cluster analysis or also known as clustering on stocks data listed in LQ45 index at Indonesia Stock Exchange. The problem is that traders need a tool to speed up decision-making process in buying, selling and holding their stocks.The method used in this cluster analysis is k-means algorithm. The data used in this study were taken from Indonesia Stock Exchange. Cluster analysis in this study took data’s characteristics such as stocks volume and value. Results of cluster analysis were presented in the form of grouping of clusters’ members visually. Therefore, this cluster analysis in this study could be used to identify more quickly and efficiently about the members of each cluster of LQ45 index. The results of such identification can be used by beginner-level investors who have started interest in stock investment to help make decision on stocks trading.

Abstract

The main mechanism to achieve a level of maturity in the organization of software developers is always focused, structured and consistent in carrying out work procedures of a quality standard applied. This article offers readers an approach and discourse of using CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integrated) concept that gives a positive impact on development of organizational business in a software developer. The goals of CMMI are getting the best product quality, increasing productivity, reducing operational costs as well as software development period and increasing customer’s satisfaction. Nevertheless, a leader of the organization should also be able to take important decisions to be consistent with the estimated time of desired return on investment (ROI).

Abstract

The purpose of this helpful in making decisions more quickly and precisely. Research methodology includes analysis study was to analyze the data base support in helping decisions making, identifying needs and designing a data warehouse. With the support of data warehouse, company leaders can be more of current systems, library research, designing a data warehouse using star schema. The result of this research is the availability of a data warehouse that can generate information quickly and precisely, thus helping the company in making decisions. The conclusion of this research is the application of data warehouse can be a media aide related parties on PT. Gajah Tunggal initiative in decision making.

Abstract

One important factor in architectural design process that are used is physical model. Information and design solutions for the architectural design process can be obtained using physical model. It is a tool that can be used to visualize the architecture design process from the conceptual to the final design. This paper explains the types and the use of physical model with their characteristics. It also describe information and solutions from the physical model that can be used during the architectural design process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the company's business processes and make strategic planning and information technology system that is suitable for supporting the goals and vision of the company's mission. The research method is data collection in the form of interviews with the company management and staff, field observations, literature research related to strategic planning and information technology systems. The results of this study prove that the company has a weakness in the implementation of information systems which is not maximized , while the strength of the company has not been fully supported by the use of information technology . This shows that the need for strategic planning and information technology systems to support achievement of business strategy at the company over the next five years. Thus, this research produced a strategic plan in the form of application architecture, hardware architecture, network architecture, organizational development, implementation schedule and cost estimates.

Abstract

Cell phones are now a cheap means of wide-ranged wireless communication. One feature widely used is the short message service (SMS). The cellular communication system is more appropriate for long-distanced applications than high speed data transfer. This study aims to develop a GSM modem interface with AVR microcontroller using C programming language. The tools controlled by the microcontroller system can gain more benefit if it is linked with GSM mobile communication system. The results of this study can be applied whether in a remote monitoring system, remote control system, or communication between the microcontroller via SMS. Many additional benefits can be obtained for the tools controlled by the microcontroller when connected to a GSM system.

Abstract

This research evaluated the factors that influenced the behavioral intention to use a mobile application. The case study used was SedayuOne mobile application. The method used was the questionnaires using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) model. The questionnaires were sent to the 342 members by using email. The result shows that the user habit is the highest factor that influences the user behavioral intention to consume the SEDAYUONE application.Therefore, to maintain the user behavior, the company must know the user habit and consider promotional strategies to enhance the attractiveness and maintain customer loyalty.
