Abstract

Electricity needs in Indonesia increase along with the growth of population, industry, and infrastructure development, which influences the availability of electricity in future generations. Semarang City is one of the big cities in Indonesia that requires electrical energy to support community operations and development. This study aims to explain the solar energy potential in the Semarang city, and to identify Semarang community readiness in the utilization of solar energy sources. Energy potential data was collected using direct observation, while data on community preparedness were obtained by distributing questionnaires. This research was analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results of the study explain that the potential of solar power plants is 5.4 KWH. In addition, the overall level of readiness of the city of Semarang is classified as high level of readiness (72.50%), with values of awareness of 82.5%(high) and knowledge of 67.25% (moderate).

Abstract

The layout of the facilities which is good and in accordance with the state of the company is one factor for the orderly and efficient arrangement of all facilities. The current problems that encountered in Yalesvava CV is the result of the production being constrained in the placement of the layout where the results of the resulting production due to sequence of irregular processes thereby resulting in accumulation of products that result in irregularity. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange the layout of production facilities in order to design buis layout based on ARC understanding and layout design layout design model from ARC understanding. Based on the background, the research objectives are: to produce layout design based on ARC understanding and layout design from ARC understanding. The result of this research is the finding that there are some work areas that must be moved or not moved and the discovery of the work area which is not appropriate in case it is make difficult to access. The advice given to CV. Yalesvava is maintaining the layout of raw material area so that it is not disturb the existing work access, to place the production result according to the product made by grouping the buis size, the printing can be done directly according to the specified size.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain concrete examplesdesign of Semester Learning Plans (RPS) Work System Design & Ergonomics (PSKE) courses based on CHAMPION core values include; Charity, Humanity, Altruism, Managing-capacity, Persistence, Integrity, Open-minded, and Noveltyfrom Industrial Engineering Study Program, Musi Charitas Catholic University with the KKNI program. The basis of harmonization and internalization of the core values of CHAMPION in RPS will give a distinctive characteristic to other universities. Harmonization of RPS is very possible to produce a working system design of the teaching and learning process that is reviewed systemically, holistically, interdisciplinary and participatory so that it has an impact on effective, comfortable, safety, healthy and efficient (ENASE) so that productivity can be optimized. Based on the results of the RPS design study PSKE course, learning outcomes include; the impact attitudes and values of 29.58%, general skills of 14.79%, special skills of 33.80%, and mastery of knowledge of 21.83%. Three interesting learning methods are obtained, namely; student-centered learning is 39.47%, interaction/group discussion is 32.89%, and project-based is 27.63%. Interesting learning experiences, namely; assignments by 29%, compilation of papers by 27%, practice by 20%, surveys or visits by 16%, and comparative studies of 8%. Selected assessment criteria/rubrics, namely; assignment test as learning, project, portfolio of 35.9%, written test of 30.9%, performance test of 16.9%, observation test of 7%, and participation test of 2.8%.

Abstract

The school website is a vehicle for schools to show themselves to the global community, as well as a medium of information for anyone who wants to know more about the school. The school website gets attention, good responses from various parties from education staff, students and the community. State Vocational High School 1 Lintau Buo (SMK N 1 Litau Buo) is one of the National Vocational High School Vocational Schools (SMK SSN) in Tanah Datar District which needs to interact and socialize with the wider community by providing complete and clear information about the school. Previously this school has never had an Academic Information System as a media campaign, and provision of information to students, parents, guardians and the wider community. Therefore, the school still uses manual way in conveying information. Manual way in delivering such information is felt to still have many shortcomings, such as the coverage of pemebaranya still less extensive and limited information content. The results of this study are: An Academic Information System built with PHP and MySQL can work with the ability: can perform input and storage process faster, smaller data files, due to using mysql database, and can be operated easily.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the profile of college graduates currently required by the labor market. The graduate profile to be analyzed is the graduate profile of the field of industrial engineering based on the needs of the labor market. In addition to getting an overview of the graduate profile, this study also wants to analyze the capabilities that the industrial engineering graduate must have with regard to the profile of the identified graduates. To analyze the ability of graduates, then used K-DIKTI (Higher Education Curriculum) as a reference, that is related to; attitudes or values, general ability, special abilities, and knowledge. To identify the profile of graduates and the capabilities that must be possessed, in this study using job advertisements that are online. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis method. This method is used because it can help in arranging the data obtained from job advertisements, so that data can describe the meaningful information. The results of this study are expected to provide additional information for the study program when going to do recuriculla. From the results of data collection there are several graduate profiles for industrial engineering study programs. Of the several profiles needed, the most needed is as an engineer, which is around 27.27%, then the second is PPIC, around 21.21%.

Abstract

Production planning can be defined as a process for producing goods in a certain period in accordance with what is predicted or scheduled through organizing resources such as labor, raw materials, machinery and other equipment. Determining the optimal number of products to be produced is the key to proper production planning. Production needs are carried out to meet demand at the minimum cost level. The purpose of this study is to estimate (predict) demand which can be used as the basis for making a production plan, by determining how many products to produce, utilizing limited resources efficiently. And increase production capacity to meet the ups and downs of demand. After forecasting by using a constant method, linear and quadratic bread, sayakaya, chocolate, coconut, blueberry, pineapple with the smallest error method, namely the standard error estimate (SEE), the constant method has the smallest error value. The next period is predicted the number of requests for sarikaya bread for 464700 packs, chocolate flavor 1390152 packs, coconut flavor 508524 packs, blueberry flavor 515112 packs, and pineapple flavor 256356 packs.
