Current Automatic Speaker Recognition (ASR) System has emerged as an important medium of confirmation of identity in many businesses, ecommerce applications, forensics and law enforcement as well. Specialists trained in criminological recognition can play out this undertaking far superior by looking at an arrangement of acoustic, prosodic, and semantic attributes which has been referred to as structured listening. An algorithmbased system has been developed in the recognition of forensic speakers by physics scientists and forensic linguists to reduce the probability of a contextual bias or pre-centric understanding of a reference model with the validity of an unknown audio sample and any suspicious individual. Many researchers are continuing to develop automatic algorithms in signal processing and machine learning so that improving performance can effectively introduce the speaker’s identity, where the automatic system performs equally with the human audience. In this paper, I examine the literature about the identification of speakers by machines and humans, emphasizing the key technical speaker pattern emerging for the automatic technology in the last decade. This paper presents a half triangular Comb-shaped slits edge Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna (Comb-AVA) as compared to the conventional Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna (AVA) design. This proposed antenna covers 20-40 GHz spectrum. This Comb-AVA antenna is designed for the 5G application which is addressed to cover a dualband 28/38 GHz frequencies. A half triangular comb-shaped slits edge structure is employed to investigate its effects on antenna parameters. This proposed Comb-AVA occupies a 25x8 mm2 of FR 4 substrate (???????? = 4.4, tan δ=0.02, thinkness 1.6 mm). It has impedance bandwidth (S11≤-10 dB) along 20-40 GHz spectrum and fractional bandwidth (FBW) ≥0.5. It means that the bandwidth is categorized as ultra wideband (UWB). In addition, there is 11 dB refinement of return loss in the CombAVA design at 38 GHz frequency. VSWR value is in range of 1.054 to 1.396. This proposed antena also has a wider angular width (3 dB) than the AVA. Higher directivity and gain is generated by Comb-AVA at 28 GHz. This proposed antenna has good performances and suitable for 5G application.

Compressive sensing is one of teh cost effective solution towards performing compression of heavier form of signals. We reviewed the existing research contribution towards compressive sensing to find that existing system doesnt offer any form of optimization for which reason the signal are superiorly compressed but at the cost of enough resources. Therefore, we introduce a framework that optimizes the performance of the compressive sensing by introducing 4 sequential algorithms for performing Random Sampling, Lossless Compression for region-of-interest, Compressive Sensing using transform-based scheme, and optimization. The contribution of proposed paper is a good balance between computational efficiency and quality of reconstructed medical image when transmitted over network with low channel capacity. The study outcome shows that proposed system offers maximum signal quality and lower algorithm processing time in contrast to existing compression techniuqes on medical images.

The advent of System-on-Chip (SoCs), has brought about a need to increase the scale of multi-core chip networks. Bus Based communications have proved to be limited in terms of performance and ease of scalability, the solution to both bus – based and Point-to-Point (P2P) communication systems is to use a communication infrastructure called Network-on-Chip (NoC). Performance of NoC depends on various factors such as network topology, routing strategy and switching technique and traffic patterns. In this paper, we have taken the initiative to compile together a comparative analysis of different Network on Chip infrastructures based on the classification of routing algorithm, switching technique, and traffic patterns. The goal is to show how varied combinations of the three factors perform differently based on the size of the mesh network, using NOXIM, an open source SystemC Simulator of mesh-based NoC. The analysis has shown tenable evidence highlighting the novelty of XY routing algorithm.

This paper presents the use of Simelectronics Program for modeling and control of a two degrees-of freedom coupled mass-spring-damper mechanical system.The aims of this paper are to establish a mathematical model that represents the dynamic behaviour of a coupled mass-spring damper system and effectively control the mass position using both Simulink and Simelectronics.The mathematical model is derived based on the augmented Lagrange equation and to simulate the dynamic accurately a PD controller is implemented to compensate for the oscillation sustained by the system as a result of the complex conjugate pair poles near to the imaginary axis.The input force has been subjected to an obstacle to mimic actual challenges and to validate the mathematical model a Simulink and Simelectronics models were developed, consequently, the results of the models were compared. According to the result analysis, the controller tracked the position errors and stabilized the positions to zero within a settling time of 6.5sec and significantly reduced the overshoot by 99.5% and 99. 7% in Simulink and Simelectronics respectively. Furthermore, it is found that Simelectronics model proved to be capable having advantages of simplicity, less time-intense and requires no mathematical model over the Simulink approach.

The mobile game industry has been growing rapidly in both the number of games and revenues. Choosing the right interactions for a game has become a major challenge for developers. Some developers use inappropriate interactions in their games which causes them to be less fun than they should be. This research focuses on gathering and defining possible mobile game interactions so as to guide and enable designers and developers to choose the right interactions for their games. The researchers have extensively reviewed and explored various mobile game interactions both through research studies and through existing mobile games. Subsequent to observations, mobile game interactions were then categorized as follows: 1) Touch interaction 2) Motion/Movement interaction 3) Video interaction 4) Sound interaction 5) Special purpose interaction 6) Location interaction 7) Electroencep-halography (EEG) interaction 8) Date/Time interaction 9) Weather interaction 10) Light interaction 11) Proximity interaction 12) Network interaction 13) Social interaction and 14) Bioinformatics interaction. These 14 interactions can be used to support gameplay, ideas, and innovation of mobile games.

This paper presents the model of a fuel cell and the design and simulation of a cascade of two DC-DC converters. First, a detailed mathematical model of fuel cell is presented and simulated. Then, a nonlinear model of the whole controlled system is developed and a robust nonlinear controller of currents is synthesized using a passivity-based control. A formal analysis based on Lyapunov stability and average theory is developed to describe the control currents loops performances. A classical PI controller is used for the voltages loops. The simulation models have been developed and tested in the MATLAB/SIMULINK. Simulated results are displayed to validate the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

We focused in this work on a fault tolerant control of a non linear hybrid system class based on diagnosis method (determine and locate the defects and their types) and on the faults reconfiguration method.In literature we can found many important research activities over the fault-tolerant control of non linear systems and linear Hybridsystems. But it dosen´t exist too many for the non linear hybridsystem.The main idea in this paper is to consider a new approach to improve the reconfiguration performance of the non linear hybrid system by using hammerstein method which is designed to works only for linear systems. This method compensated the effect of the faults and guarantees the closed-loop system stable. The proposed method is simulated with a hydraulic system of two tanks with 4 modes.

The increasing use of renewable technologies such as wind turbines in power systems may require the contribution of these new sources into grid ancillary services, such as Load Frequency Control. Hence, this work dealt with the performance comparison of two traditional control structures, PI and LQR, for secondary regulation of Load Frequency Control with the participation of variable-speed wind turbines. For this purpose, the doubly-fed induction generator wind turbine was modeled with additional control loops for emulation of the inertial response of conventional machines for frequency regulation tasks. Performance of proposed strategies was verified through simulation in a benchmark adapted from the WSCC 3 machines 9-bus test system. Results showed overall superior performance for LQR controller, although requiring more strenuous control effort from conventional units than PI control.

Pattern recognition has been acknowledged as one of the promising research areas and it has drawn the awareness among many researchers since its existence at the beginning of the nineties. Multilayer Neural networks are used in pattern Recognition and classification based on the features derived from the input patterns. The Reflectivity information extracted from the Doppler Weather Radar (DWR) image helps in identifying the convective cloud type which has a strong relation to the precipitation rate. The reflectivity information is rooted in the DWR image with the help of colors and color bar is provided to distinguish among different reflectivity information. Artificial Neural network predicts the color based on the maximum likelihood estimation problem. This paper presents a best possible backpropagation algorithm for color identification in DWR images by comparing various backpropagation algorithms such as LevenbergMarquardt, Conjugate gradient, and Resilient back propagation etc.,. Pattern recognition using Neural networks presents better results compared to standard distance measures. It is observed that Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation algorithm yields a regression value of 99% approximately and accuracy of 98%
