This study aims to map the physical learning difficulties and the factors that caused the student RSMABI se Semarang. The research use qualitative methods were implemented in SMAN 2 Semarang and Semarang SMAN 4. Data on students physics learning difficulties derived from a description of student test results sheet. Data factors that cause learning difficulties derived from physics student sheet questionnaire completed by the students. Learning difficulty level data obtained from the analysis of the percentage of descriptive analytical test results of students were consulted with learning difficulty level classification table. Data learning difficulties factors derived from the descriptive analysis of the percentage of the completed questionnaires were consulted with learning difficulties factor classification table. Results showed difficulties in learning physics concepts mastery indicators. The factors that cause learning difficulties physics include interest, aptitude, motivation, intelligence, school facilities, teachers, facilities or infrastructure and support, and activities have the same level that is sufficient cause learning difficulties in students RSMABI physics se Semarang.

This research is used to determine whether there are differences in increasedunderstanding of physics concepts after CTL-based model of cooperativelearning to make a match method was applied to class VIII. The method usedwas nonequivalent control group design. Based on gain test found thatincreasing the concepts of physics in the experimental group is higher thanthe control group. It can also be known in the different average test. Thesignificant different is all shown true with ttest with tcount = 2.597 in ttable =1.994. These results are also suported by the observation that the test resultsfor the experimental group reached a value of 63.19 with is in quite wellcategory but the control group only reached a value of 54.86 with is in unfavorable category. This study was not able to reach minimum terms ofclassical completeness. The experimental group achieved 63.89% while thecontrol group achieved 33.33%. This is because the strategy may only besuitable for some students and the discussion can not be predicted. However,overall it can be concluded that the CTL-based cooperative learning model tomake a match method can improve the understanding of the physics conceptof class VIII.

Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) is an active learning model that uses learning in teams, guided inquiry activities to develop knowledge, questions to enhance critical thinking and analytical skills, problem solving, report, metacognition, and individual responsibility. The purpose of this study was to determine the increases of students' critical thinking skills through implementation of the model POGIL on the subject of heat. The study design using the Control Group Pre Test-Post Test. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique. The results are POGIL can enhance students' critical thinking skills, with a value of 0.69 gain. Aspects of critical thinking that could be improved is aspects hypothesize, analyze and conclude. Based on the obtained test 75.00% of students categorized as very critical, critical category 18.75% and 6.25% of students categorized as critical enough. While the results based on observations obtained 18,75 % of students categorized as critical, and 81,25 % categorized as enough critical. The average value of the students psychomotor 90.89 and affective 87.11. The conclusions of this study is POGIL can enhance students' critical thinking skills in the subject of heat.

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in logical thinking and the level of students activity. This research is experimental and used control group pre-test post-test design. The population of this research is all class VIII student of SMP Negeri 1 Wanasari. The choose by purposive sampling technique. Two classes was taken as the samples: the class VIIIA as experiments class and the class VIIIB as control class. The data was collecting using analytical test and observation sheets. The results of the test gain for the control and experimental classes respectively obtained 29% and 50%. While the descriptive analysis of students activity class control to 62.43% and 68.18% for experiment classes. Then from the t-test obtained thitung (11.28) > ttable (1.68). While from hipotesys test average obtained thitung (6.585) > ttable (2.024). It can be concluded that the Better Teaching and Learning based cooperative was applied effective to improve logical thinking and students activity.

Based on observations, student learning outcomes of physics at SMA in Semarang still need to be improved. This study aimed to determine the activity of students, the increase of students’ understanding of concepts, and effectiveness of cooperative based reciprocal teaching model to enhance X grade students’ understanding of the physics concept. The result showed that students’ understanding of concept of experiment class was 0.46, which was categorized as medium category and 0.28, in the control class which was categorized as low category. The average of cognitive of the experiment class was 74.67 and those of the the control class was 65.48. For both affective and psychomotor aspects the mark of both classes have passed the minimum passing criteria. It was concluded that the application of Cooperative-Based Reciprocal Teaching Learning is effective to be used to improve the understanding of physics concepts at X grade on the temperature and heat material. On the aspect of affective and psychomotor it was found that the experimental class students were more active than the control class.

The material in the abstract physics need an alternative in order to make it easier for students learning to understand it, one of them by analogy. This study aimed to determine: (1) How does the implementation of teaching physics by analogy (2) Is the analogy of learning physics can improve learning outcomes physics and high school students (3) Is the analogy of learning physics is more effective than conventional learning. The research data in the form of observations during the learning process and learning outcomes ongoing cognitive obtained obtained from the test. Based on test results obtained gains that increase student learning outcomes on the criterion of 0.60 was the level of mastery learning reaches 90%. While based on t-test analysis showed no significant difference between learning by analogy and learning physics conventional physics

This action research aims to develop character and improve students learning outcomes through the implementation of Group Investigation in science learning. This research was done in three cycles, consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. Steps of the lesson is students make a groups,every groups consist of 5 to 6 students, discuss their plan and conduct an investigation, and then prepared a report on the results of the investigation to be presented in the classroom followed by evaluation at the end of the lesson. The data about students character development obtained from observation sand questionnaire. Cognitive learning outcomes were collected from evaluation test while the psycomotor learning outcomes obtained by observation sheet. The results of cognitive, psychomotor and character of the students were analyzed using gain test. Results of this research shows that the application of Group Investigation in science can develop honest, discipline, curiosity, creative and communicative characters of students Class VIIIA SMPN 2 Sumber , Rembang. The increase from the first cycle to the second cycle is 0.20 and from II to III is 0.28. In addition to the characters, cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes of students also increased each cycle.

The aims of this research are : (1) to analyze the increase in learning outcomes, (2) to analyze the increase in students' scientific attitude, (3) to analyze changes in scientific attitude of students in the application of learning guided inquiry-based laboratory. Studies using experimental models with pre-post design control group with random sampling. In the analysis of research data is divided into two data analysis before and after the research. From the research results obtained by increasing the gain of 0.53 learning outcomes and increase students' scientific attitude gain of 0.31. So it can be concluded that guided inquiry-based laboratory has a significant influence on the learning outcomes and scientific attitude. Another finding in this study were obtained a relationship, that each increase of scientific attitude will affect the improvement of student learning outcomes.

Experimental studies have been conducted to improve the independence of students, through problem based learning model with problem-based physics lab module. It is based on the lack of independence of the students, so that their learning can not achieve maximum learning outcomes. Samples were taken at random and obtained two samples of the class as a class XI Science XI IPA 4 and 5. Further retrieval using a questionnaire that had been tested experts. The analysis used in this study etc: testing the equality of two variances, test for normality using the chi-square formula, the gain test. The results of this study, has successfully created modules like the syntax module manufacturing. The module contains a solution with practical problems. Step application in classes based on the syntax of learning using PBL models. The results showed that learning with problem-based physics lab module can increase student independence. And increase student independence was followed by an increase learning outcomes.

The decrease of Indonesia rank in international and degradation of nation’s morality have changed the educational field. One of the solutions to overcome this deterioration is using learning materials which are able to improve the students’ understanding and to develop their character. The purpose of this research is to arrange learning learning materials which are able to improve the students’ understanding especially in science subject and to develop students’ positive character. The inquiry elements and the nuance of positive characters are applied in the plot of comic. This research cobsists of readability test, proper test and trial test using pre experimental design. The result shows that the degree of readability and feasibility are 80% anda 91,2% which means that the science comic is easily understood and proper to be used as a learning material. The result of gain test shows that there is an improvement in students’ cognitive skill. Based on the feasibility test, science comics could develop students’ character.
