PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) DENGAN UMPAN BALIK KUIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 11 SEMARANG

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan  hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa kelas VIII E SMP N 11 Semarang melalui pemberian umpan balik kuis dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian didesain sebagai penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Tiap siklus meliputi 4 tahap, yaitu: 1) Perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan, 3) Observasi, dan 4) Refleksi. Data hasil belajar diambil menggunakan hasil tes formatif siswa dan sebagai data pendukung menggunakan lembar observasi keaktifan siswa dan kinerja peneliti, angket tanggapan siswa dan guru mengenai penerapan STAD. Berdasarkan analisis, diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 65,00 kemudian siklus II meningkat menjadi 72,86 dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 78,57. Ketuntasan belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I adalah 57,14%, kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 78% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 92%. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa ini diikuti dengan peningkatan keaktifan siswa. Siswa semakin aktif bekerjasama dalam kelompok dan merasa senang selama proses pembelajaran. Simpulan yang dapat diambil adalah pemberian umpan balik kuis dalam model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VIII semester 2 SMP Negeri 11 Semarang, sehingga mencapai standar ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal. Saran yang dapat diberikan oleh peneliti antara lain: Guru hendaknya menggunakan beberapa metode pembelajaran yang lebih bervariasi sehingga siswa tidak mengalami kebosanan misalkan dengan permainan atau karya wisata dan pemberikan umpan balik, guru sebaiknya lebih detail dalam menuliskan komentar/saran dan jawaban pada lembar jawab agar siswa lebih memahami kekurangan dari jawabannya. This research is aimed to improve the learning outcomes and to makes the students of VIII E class SMP N 11 Semarang be more active through providing the feedback quizzes with STAD cooperative learning model. The research designed as an action research carried out in 3 cycles . Each cycle includes four stages , they are : 1) Planning , 2) Implementation , 3) Observation , and 4) Reflection. The data were taken using the score of the students learning result, and the formative test results as supporting data using the students observation sheet activity and performance research, questionnaire responses of students and teachers on the implementation of STAD.Based on the analysis , the students  score average in the first cycle is 65.00. Then the second cycle score increase to 72.86 and raise again in the third cycle become 78.57. The students ability in physics are also increased. In the first cycle is 57.14% , then in the second cycle it rises 78% and increases again in the third cycle to 92% . The improvement of the students learning ability is followed by the increasing of the students active participation. Students become more active with a work groups learning and they feel more happy during the learning process . The conclusions that is taken is that the providing feedback quizzes in the STAD learning model can improve the learning result of the students 2nd semester eighth grade students of SMP N 11 Semarang, so they can get higher score than KKM. Some advices given by researcher to the teacher are: Teachers should use many various teaching methods so the students do not feel boredom, for the examples are by giving education games and by giving feedback. Teachers should give more detail comments/suggestions in the students answer sheet so they can learn from their error answers.
PENGEMBANGAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA BERDASARKAN TEORI KECERDASAN MAJEMUK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMP

Abstract

Siswa dengan kecerdasan logis-matematis yang lemah biasanya mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami fisika. Pembelajaran fisika yang disesuaikan dengan kecerdasan yang dimiliki siswa perlu dikembangkan. Strategi pembelajaran berdasarkan teori kecerdasan majemuk adalah perencanaan tentang rangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran yang didesain dan disesuaikan dengan kecerdasan majemuk yang dimiliki siswa untuk mencapai tujuan yang ditentukan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran Fisika berdasarkan teori kecerdasan majemuk serta meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development. Uji keefektifan menggunakan Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design. Komponen strategi kegiatan prapengajaran terbagi menjadi empat, yaitu zona alfa, warm up, pre-teach, dan scene setting. Komponen penyampaian informasi dan partisipasi siswa disajikan secara terpadu, yaitu The Power of Two, We’re The Light, Choose The Area, dan We Can Find It Ourself. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan strategi pembelajaran layak digunakan. Setelah diterapkan, strategi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa Students with low logic-mathematics intelligence usually have difficulty in understanding physics lesson. Physics learning that adapted the student’s intelligences need to be developed. Learning strategy based on the theory multiple intelligences is the planning about series of learning activities that designed and adapted with the student’s multiple intelligences to achieve the goals sets. The purpose of this research is to develop physics learning strategies based on theory of multiple intelligences and enchance students motivation and learning results. The method which used is Research and Development. Effectiveness test using Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design. The component of Pre teaching strategy divided into four, these are alpha zone, warm-up, pre-teach, and scene setting. The component of delivery of information and students activity presented in intregated way, these are The Power of Two, We’re The Light, Choose The Area, and We Can Find It Ourself. The feasibility test results shows that learning strategy is feasible to be used. After it applied, learning strategy can enchance student motivation and learning results.
