Abstract

AbstrakTujuan  dari  penelitian  ini  adalah  mendapatkan  LKS  dengan  pendekatan  project  based learning,  mengetahui  tingkat  kelayakan  dan  mengetahui  peningkatan  kemampuan problem  solving.  Metode  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  R&D  (Research  and  Development). Prosedur penelitian meliputi: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) studi pengembangan, dan (3) studi  pengujian  produk.  Hasil  uji  kelayakan  menunjukan  bahwa  LKS  dengan pendekatan  project  based  learning  sangat  layak  digunakan  dalam  pembelajaran.  LKS pendekatan  project based learning  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan  problem solving  siswa pada materi cermin. Peningkatan problem solving berada pada kategori sedang. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to obtain worksheets that based on project based learning approach, determine the feasibility and knowing the increase problem solving. Th e method in this study is an R & D (Research and Development). The study procedures include: (1) introduction, (2) design, (3) the development or testing of the product. The test results of the feasibility showed that worksheet is very suitable to be used as a means of physics learning. The result of the study shows that student’s worksheet which are based on project based learning can develop  student’s  problem  solving  skill  in  mirror  materi.  The  level  of  development  of  problem  solving  is adequate.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur diketahui bahwa setiap mahasiswa mempunyai keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, salah satunya keterampilan berpikir evaluasi yang digunakan untuk menilai isi bacaan dan literatur. Dalam rangka mengukur keterampilan berpikir evaluasi yang dimiliki mahasiswa, dibutuhkan instrumen penilaian. Selama ini, belum ada instrumen penilaian yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan ini. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang langkah–langkahnya terdiri atas potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produk final. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen Metacognitive Self–Assessment yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengukurketerampilan berpikir evaluasi dalam membaca teks sains berbahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa instrumen Metacognitive Self–Assessment valid dan reliabel, sehingga instrumen Metacognitive Self–Assessment layak digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir evaluasi dalam membaca teks sains berbahasa Inggris. Based on the results of the literature study, it was known that every student has  high order thinking skill, one of them is evaluation thinking skill used to evaluate the content of reading and literature. In order to measure of evaluation thinking skill possessed by student, an assessment instrument is needed. So far, there was no assessment instrument used to measure the skill. This Research and Development (R & D) research consisting of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revision, utility testing, product revision, and final product, aimed to develop Metacognitive Self-Assessment instrument which valid and reliable for measuring evaluation thinking skill in reading English science texts. Based on the results of the research, it was found that Metacognitive Self-Assessment instrument is valid and reliable, so the Metacognitive Self-Assessment instrument can be used to measure of evaluation thinking skill in reading English scientific texts.
