Abstract

Physical education teacher is certified expected to have good performance. Good or bad teacher performance depends on the self-concept and motivation of the teacher in carrying out its duties. This study aims to obtain a description of self-concept, work motivation, and performance of certified Physical education teachers in the working group of Physical education teachers in Bonang Region, Demak District. This research uses a qualitative method with phenomenology design. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documents. Research subjects of 3 certified Physical education teachers residing in the Teacher Working Group Bonang, secondary data are colleagues and principals. Methods of data collection in the form of observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions/verification. It is concluded that the most important factor of self-concept influencing the performance of the subject is the self-assessment factor. While the most important factor of work motivation is internal motivation. It is recommended for the subjects to cultivate positive self-concept, the spirit of work, and the spirit of creativity and activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the occupational prestige, occupational status, and the self-esteem of the PJOK teachers in Semarang in terms of the teacher's perspective. The method used in this research was quantitative descriptive. The research sample was 123 respondents of PJOK teachers of all senior high schools in Semarang. The results obtained were that the teaching profession was considered by the respondents as an occupation that had very high prestige. PJOK teachers regarded their occupational status highly, despite the fact that 4% of teachers considered their occupational status to be low. PJOK teachers had very high self-esteem, even though there were 2% of PJOK teachers who had low self-esteem. It was suggested for teachers to improve their competence and self-esteem as a study to improve the quality of physical education learning.

Abstract

The research objectives were: (1) To evaluate the antecedents which include background, founding program, availability and feasibility of facilities and infrastructure, government and community support, availability of human resources, coach’s status, the acceptance of the athletes in PB Pendowo, PB Sehat, and PB Hamas, (2) To evaluate the transaction includes a program of exercise, coordination, and welfare, (3) To evaluate the outcomes, athletes' achievements. The type of this study was qualitative research using the Countenence (stake) evaluation. This study concluded that: (1) the antecedent of the founding program badminton clubs in the Semarang City to promote athletes aged 10-11 years in Semarang City, adequate facilities and infrastructure, the government supports, human resources were available, coach’s status and athlete acceptance goes well, (2) transactions involving founding programs do not based on the existing standards, coordination has been going well, welfare was not good enough, (3) outcomes of athletes had achieved good results and had increased from 2014 to 2017.

Abstract

The National Sports Museum is a place to showcase the tools used by sports fighters in the world. Sports philosophy is more precisely emphasized the problem of attitude, behavior, values, and morals, human beings with the problems that often arise and in the practices of sports activities. The problem statement is to find out: (1) What is the archery sports philosophy at the National Sports Museum? (2) How is the development of Indonesian archery at the National Sports Museum? Analyze the philosophy of the development of Indonesian Archery Sports at the National Sports Museum. Archery is a sport that uses a tool called a bow and arrow and a target board that makes it the center. The achievements of archery were proven by Donald Pandiangan athletes and 3 Srikandi Lilies Handayani, Nurfitriyana S. Lantang, and Kusuma Wardhani who won the Silver Medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. Library research with a descriptive philosophy approach whose material objects are human and environment. This library research is to be able to understand philosophically about human and environmental relations. The beginning of Archery development in Indonesia which became a matter of pride made a new spirit for Indonesia. Inconsistency, management, and the talent that the team possesses have produced extraordinary results. Making Archery the glory of the Srikandi Trio. Although the Archery after the Srikandi Trio suffered a downturn Indonesian archery managed to experience rapid development, the increase was seen in 2010 until now. Some regions and clubs still maintain traditional/jemparingan numbers as Indonesian culture which need to be maintained and developed on par with other numbers. The development of archery sports has also been included in school extracurricular activities.

Abstract

The result of observation in UNWAHAS College Tennis Club, backhand volley placement skill has not been optimal yet. The objective of this research are to find out the influence of training method on backhand volley’s accuracy; the influence of agility on students’ agility; interaction between training method and agility on backhand volley’s accuracy. The method used in this research is experimental method with 2x2 factorial experiment design. Sample collection method used is purposive sampling, thus obtained 20 people as sample. The Independent variables of this research are training method and accuracy while the dependent variable is shot accuracy. The result of the research indicated that there is difference in the influence of Volley training method in backhand volley accuracy with the average of Volleys Against the Fence method is 20.8 and the average of Down The Line Volley is 15.5. Further test to find out the difference between cells conducted through Tukey test can be concluded that volleys against the fence training method would be better given to the tennis players with high agility, rather than layers with low agility. Conclusion: there is difference of training method and agility on backhand volley accuracy.

Abstract

The Purpose: (1) To find out and analyze the significant relationship between leg strength to the speed of the front kick. (2) To find out and analyze a significant relationship between the balance of the body against the speed of the front kick. (3) To find out and analyze the significant relationship between limb muscles flexibility to the speed of front kick. This research method is a triple correlation. Variables are divided into two namely independent variables: leg strength, body balance, and flexibility of leg muscles. While the dependent variable is the speed of Pencak Silat front kick. Population: A number of 72 male fighters from Tapak Suci in Banjarnegara Regency. The data collection technique uses tests and measurements, namely the standing board jump, dynamic balance, split front, and front kick speed test. Data analysis using multiple regression. Result: (1) There is a contribution of leg strength to the speed of the front kick in pencak silat martial arts. Proven from the results of the analysis obtained a contribution of 40.53%, (2) There is a contribution to the balance of the speed of the front kick in pencak silat martial arts. Proven from the results of the analysis obtained a value of the contribution of 50.74%, (3) There is a contribution of flexibility in the limb muscles to the speed of the front kick in pencak silat. This is proven from the results of the analysis obtained value of the contribution of 8.72%, (4) There is a contribution of leg strength, balance, and flexibility of leg muscles with the speed of front kick in pencak silat martial arts. Proven from the results of the analysis obtained the value of the contribution of 40.31%.

Abstract

This study aims to: evaluate the antecedent, PPLP NTT taekwondo sporting achievement program which includes athletes and coaches, financing, facilities and infrastructure, evaluating transactions, controlling training and learning processes, calmness, training planning programs, consumption, promotion and degradation, transportation and coordination, evaluating outcomes, namely achievements in sports and academic fields. This study is a program evaluation research, with qualitative research methods, the model of the approach used is the evaluation of model maintenance, the source of the research data is the management, trainers and athletes. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation and data circulation. The results of this study are: antecedent, including the selection of athletes and coaches going well because they are selected based on the terms and conditions that apply, poor infrastructure and facilities due to unavailability of buildings and mattresses for training, good sources of funds because the source of funds comes from Kemenpora and APBD , transaction, covering the control of the learning exercise process in accordance with what was determined, the calm has been going well because in the dormitory there are those who control, the implementation of the training program is very good because there is an exercise program, funding/funding is good enough, consumption and transportation are good, coordination has gone well, the outcome, the achievements of athletes in the field of sports have decreased performance and are not stable because they have not reached the expected target, achievement in the academic field is good enough. The conclusion is that: Antecedents, selection of athletes and coaches that are feasible because they are selected through a selection process in accordance with the appropriate provisions, facilities and infrastructure are still not fully fulfilled, for funding has gone well, funds come from Kemenpora and supported by NTT provincial APBD funds. Transaction control of the training and learning process has been going well, the trainer is always required by the board to take part in trainings, the administrators always provide counseling related to nutrition and psychology to athletes, calmness is running well because there is control, the implementation of the training program has been running according to what has been determined by the trainer, consumption, promotion and degradation is already underway with what is stipulated by PPLP NTT, transportation is quite good, coordination has gone well without any significant obstacles. Outcome, achievement in the field of sports has decreased, for achievement in the academic field is quite good because there has been no degradation through academic achievement.

Abstract

The goal of this study is for knowing and analyzing: The difference on the effect of depth jump exercise and knee tuck jump exercise to the ability of leg power of students involved in extracurricular activity at Islamic Junior High School Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang, The difference of the effect of high and short of the body height to the leg power of students involved in extracurricular activity at Islamic Junior High School Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang, The interaction between the exercise method and body height to leg power of students involved in extracurricular activity at Islamic Junior High School Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang. This research is using the experimental method in applying the 2x2 factorial design plan. The data analysis technique is using Analysis of Varian (ANOVA) with 0.05 significance level (α). The dependent variable in this research is the method of depth jump exercise and knee tuck jump exercise. High and low body height is as the attribute variable and the dependent variable is the power legs. The results of the study are: (1) there is a difference on the effect of depth jump exercise and knee tuck jump exercise to the ability of leg power with significance level as (0.04) < α (0.05) and Fvalue = 7.027 > Ftable = 4.49, (2) there is a difference of the effect of high and short of the body height to the leg power whereas the significance = 0.030 < α = 0.05 and Fvalue = 5.317 > Ftable = 4.49, (3) there is an interaction between the exercise method and body height to leg power whereas the significance = 0.027 < α = 0.05 and Fvalue = 8.603 > Ftable = 4.49.

Abstract

This study to determine the implementation methods in Senior High School physical sports and health education teacher to the assessment of learning outcomes (revision of Curriculum 2013) in Pemalang District. The research method used is descriptive with survey, observation and documentation methods. The subjects of this study were Senior High School in Pemalang District, consisting of 19 schools, both public and private. The results of the study show that (1) the implementation of the assessment of Curriculum 2013 related to learning devices states that it is appropriate with a percentage of 84%, (2) the implementation of the assessment of Curriculum 2013 related to attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and assessment of skills in the appropriate category with a percentage of 79.1%, (3) the difficulties of the physical sports and health education teacher related to the assessment of Curriculum 2013 are (a) making the lesson plan (RPP) too complicated (b) the dishonest students when making evaluations between friends, (c) the results of the oral and written tests not harmonizing so the results are out of sync.

Abstract

The athlete's level of anxiety experienced by the Glagah Wangi Demak Athletic club will cause a less than optimal appearance and have an impact on the achievements. The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of imagery exercise and emotional intelligence toward the anxiety level of Gelagah Wangi Demak Athletic Club. The method used in this study is an experimental method with 2x2 factorial designs. Techniques of analyzing the data used are Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at significance level (α) 0.05. The populations are 25 athletes and the sample of the amount of 20 athletes, with purposive sampling through a sample based on characteristics (goals defined by the researcher). The instrument of the research is the emotional intelligence test and athlete anxiety test. The result using ANOVA analysis shows that there are differences of Fvalue = 6.568 > Ftable = 3.59 in imagery exercise. The differences emotional intelligence effect of Fvalue = 52.552) > Ftable = 3.59. There are interaction between imagery and emotional intelligence proved by Fvalue = 5.513 > Ftable = 3.59. The conclusion of the study is there are differences effects between imagery exercise (video and script). There are significant differences between athletes who have high emotional intelligence and those who have low emotional intelligence toward athlete’s anxiety level. There is an interaction between imagery exercise (video and script) and emotional intelligence toward athlete’s anxiety.
