Abstract

Abstract The problem of this research is there are persistence of students who scored below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) because the teaching methods was not well in courses Drawing With Software (MDPL). Interactive CD media utilization is expected to improve the interaction of teachers and students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to reveal how the benefits of the Interactive CD media in teaching and learning at the SMK Negeri 1. This research uses quantitative approach to be descriptive. Subjects in this study is a class XI student of Architecture Engineering which amounted to 15 people. Technique used in data collection is observation sheets, questionnaires using Guttman scale and interview guides. The results of this research show that the use of the Interactive CD media on students of SMK Negeri 1 Tilatang Kamang included in the beneficial category because the result the average difference between the value of students before and after using the Interactive CD media increased. Data description questionnaire distributed to respondents, shows the average responses of the students are very well categorized. Keywords: Utilization, Media, Interactive CD

Abstract

Abstract This researching of background from lot of the student still not folowing the rules of  safety and healthy on work, besides that rules of safety and healthy have installed on the wall use the slogans, but the student still have a conversation while working use the machine, and the student not use safety equipment while working to. This research is a descriptive research, that have a purpose for reveal how much level of comprehension student about safety and healthy of work at carpenter workshop of Department Building at SMK N. 1 Sub-district Guguak, Regency of 50 Kota. Therfore expressed a question of research is how high the level of comprehension of student about safety and healthy of work at carpenter workshop of Department Building at SMK N. 1 Sub-district, Regency of 50 Kota, at school years 2013/2014 amount 52 students. The prime data of this research is dispersion or quisionaire for student building engineer. The flow of analisys consist of, (1) tabulation of data, (2) analisys data, (3) count the average of percentage scale of interval. Based on the analisys of data, be obtained knowledge the student about safety and healthy of work at carpenter workshop of Department Building at SMK N. 1 Sub-district Guguak, Regency of 50 Kota is 71.23% and middle classified. Abstract

Abstract This study begun from a reality, that it is important to study about technical drawing on Building Engineering major in SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. However, the result of student examination on this subject is generally low. Based on this reality, the study is done to know about the factors that affect low result of the student and to reveal the student way of study on its major. The factors include internal and external. One of the internal factors is the way of study. It was a descriptive study. The population was the students at class X on Buildings Engineering on 2014/2015 year, the amounts are 60 students. The instrument of study is made based on Liker-scale. Before collecting the data, there was a trial to know about instrument validity and reliability. The data statistically analyzed by SPSS Program 17.00 version. Based on the result of analyzed data, it is known that the way of study through technical drawing education major student at class X on Building Engineering major in SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya were on enough, less and not good category. Therefore, the students have to apply the way of study effectively and efficiently, and do some aspects on the way of study properly.   Key words :  The way of study , Technical Drawing

Abstract

ABSTRACT Forconductingstudythe teacher is notonlypreparethemselvesphysicallyandmentally, but they also prepare the scenarioorthe Rencana Proses Pembelajaran(RPP). Thisstudyaimstoanalyze thelearning processin the classroomwithlesson planscreated byteachers.The type of thisresearchisdescriptive. Populationin this studyis thefirstclassof studentsmajoring inconstructionengineeringandthe studysamplewas takenbyrandom sampling techniquewith atotal sample of83students.The type of datainthisresearchisprimary dataobtaineddirectlyfromobservationsusingthe observation sheetandsecondary dataobtainedfromschoolrecordsrelated tothe number of studentsin that class. Data analysis techniquesimplementationprocessof learningis donetoanalyzethe learningprocesswith descriptive analysistechniquewhichanalyzesthe implementationof learningin accordancewithlesson planscreated byteachersandtranslatedin narrative form.The results ofthe analysis shows that the learning process is good categories and suitable with RPP, percentage of students attended the TGB, TKK and TKB 66.66% and  69.11%, 70.59% and 75.05%, 70.26% and 69.28% for 1st class and 2nd class respectively for each subject. Abstract

Abstract   This study was motivated by the low student learning outcomes Building Engineering Department at SMKN 1 Padang, the low student learning outcomes because of lack of use of the library by students Building Engineering Department which functions as a learning resource library, the purpose of this study was to determine the level of use of the library by students SMKN 1 Padang in Building Engineering Department as well as the use of libraries to disclose the relationship to the learning outcomes of students in SMKN 1 Padang Department of Buildings. This research is adescriptive studywith aquantitative approach. Population isclass XI1PadangSMKNacademic year2014/2105, amounting to 98people,samples were takenusingrandom samplingtechniques, whilethe sampling techniqueusingTaroYamaneformulaas much as 49people. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal how productive the teacher needs building engineering expertise in the academic year 2014/2015 and 2024/2025 were ideal in the analysis. This research is quantitative. The unit of analysis of this study is SMK in Padang, the number of research subjects, that is SMKN 1 Padang, SMKN 1 Sumbar, SMKN 5 Padang and SMK Dhuafa Nusantara. The collection of data on research conducted by engineering documentation. Results the analysis of the needs productive teacher expertise in building engineering SMK Padang in Academic Year 2014/2015 acquired needs, which SMKN 1 Padang the total of 6 people, SMKN 5 Padang the total of 2 people, At SMKN 1 Sumbar the total of 9 people and SMK Dhuafa Nusantara the total of 8 people. Analysis the needs of the teacher productive earned Academic Year 2024/2025 acquired additional needs, which SMKN 1 Padang the total of 36 people, SMKN 5 Padang the total of 47 people, SMKN 1 Sumbar the total of 26 people and SMK Dhuafa Nusantara the total of 29 people. Abstract

ABSTRACT Acceptance of new students was held on every year in SMK 5 Padang. Through a choice selection of interest, this school only selecting new students based on the value of Final Exam. However, there are still many students graduate from this screening method that has the problem on learning results. In addition, students' motivation in learning is still low. This study aims to look at the differences in the results of class X student Building Engineering of the academic year 2014/2015 SMK 5 Padang by passing the PSB option interest. This type of research is comparative. The hypothesis of this study that there are differences in learning results in class X Building Engineering Department of the academic year  2014/2015 SMK 5 Padang by passing through a choice of interest. The population in this study were all students of class X Building Engineering Department of the academic year 2014/2015 SMK 5 Padang that pass through the selection of 90 people. A sampling technique that total sampling with a sample of 90 people. The type of data in this research is secondary data, the results of class X student of SMK Negeri 5 Padang academic year 2014/2015. Test data analysis performed by Mann Whitney U test, to test the independence of two samples on an ordinal scale. Results of research by Mann Whitney U showed that there was no difference in learning outcomes of students who graduated either in option 1 and 2, 1 and 3, and 2 and 3 on the  selection choice of interest. Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in subjects Mechanics , in class X Architecture Engineering taught by subject teachers to use the lecture method. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in student learning outcomes are taught using lecture method in accordance with the study of theory and opinion of the experts with regular lecture method applied by teachers on the subjects of Mechanics, students majoring in construction engineering SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. This type of research is experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is all class X students at the Department of Building Engineering SMK 1 Tanjung Raya with the division of a sample of 20 students of class X Architecture Engineering as the control group and 20 students of class X Mechanical Work Wood as sample experimental group. Instrument data retrieval using 29 test items that have been analyzed objective validity . Data analysis is done by using the t test. Based on the description of the data showed that the average learning outcomes in the experimental group at 84.40 is higher than student learning outcomes in the control group at 76.65. in accordance with the results of research confirming the hypothesis is accepted then it indicates that the use of combined methods appropriate to the study of the theory proved to be effective, hypothesis is accepted at significance level of 95 %.   Key words : influence , teaching methods lectures , learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract       This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in training  Building Construction . In this study applied learning using Props and image . The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students who are taught using props and media images on training Building Construction class X TGB SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo.      This study includes a quasi-experimental study (Quasi - Experimental Research) with the study design Randomized Control group pretest - posttest design . The population in this study is 31 students of class X which consists of 15 students X TGB A and 16 students X TGB B. The samples used saturated sampling technique , where all members of the population is used as a sample . In this study a class X was selected as a TGB B Class Props and X TGB A as Class Media Images. The instrument used in this study is the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) in the form of an objective matter of 33 items that have tested the validity , reliability , difficulty index and different power problems. Data were analyzed using SPSS (Independent - Samples T Test) and t test (two average difference) by using the value of Gain Score (Difference in the pretest to posttest).      The results of this study indicate that the Class Props with an average score of pretest 50.18  and posttest 79.35, while the Class Media Images has an average score of pretest 51.31 and posttest 73.33. Can be seen there is an increase in the student learning outcomes in Class Props by 58 % and Class Media Images Figure 42.92 % . After that tested the hypothesis using SPSS acquired Sig ( 2 - tailed ) < 0.05 or 0.00 < 0.05 and t-test ( t = 4.143 > table = 2,045 ) . This means that the use of props have a significant influence on learning outcomes of students of class X Construction Skills Program Architecture Engineering SMK Lintau Buo.
