Abstract

Abstract— The background of this design is the lack of infrastructure in the Faculty of Social Sciences of Universitas Negeri Padang, including a multipurpose building as a place for student activities and can also be used for meeting or other activities. The stages of design are programming, planning and design. Primary data were obtained from location surveys and interview with owners, while secondary data were obtained from the results of literature study and local regulations. Macro analysis technique was used to analyze the location / site while micro analysis was used to analyze the design objects. The results of the design is a multipurpose building area of 1,586.39 m2, which include the main hall, podium area, 2 units dressing room, lobby, 2 units lavatory hall, warehouse and tribune on the 2nd floor. For educational facilities, spaces provided  are 6 units lecture room and 6 units student lavatory. The building budget plan is Rp 8,613,240,000.00. Keywords: Design, Multipurpose Building

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to find out and reveal how much the contribution of Emotional Quotient to Learning Outcomes of Stone Practices and Concrete of Students at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. This type of research is descriptive correlational. This research was conducted in the Department of Stone Construction and Concrete Engineering of SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The population in this study were students of class XI and XII TKBB. Data collection techniques in this study used the questionnaire method. While the Sampling Technique used is Total Sampling. In this study the number of samples was 39 people. The Data analysis techniques were: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Normality and Linearity Test, and 3) Hypothesis Test. The results of this study indicate that there is a contribution of Emotional Intelligence to the Learning Outcomes of Stone and Concrete Students at Bukittinggi State Vocational High School 1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.512 and the percentage contribution of Emotional Quotient to learning outcomes is 26.22%..  Keywords: Emotional Quotient, Learning Outcomes, Stone Practices and Concrete.

Abstract

Abstract­—This research aims to find out the factors that influence the low TOEFL score of the students of the Civil Engineering Department of FT-UNP in the year 2016. This type of research is descriptive. This research was conducted in the Civil Engineering Department of the FT-UNP. Respondents in this study were students of the 2016 Civil Engineering Department of the FT-UNP who had taken the TOEFL test with a score of <400. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires. While the sampling technique used is total random sampling. In this study the number of respondents was 56 students. The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence the low TOEFL score of the Civil Engineering Department FT-UNP students in 2016 as a whole are in the moderate category and the most dominant factor affecting the low TOEFL score of students is a technical factor.Keywords: TOEFL Score, Students, Civil Engineering

Abstract

Abstract―Practice of Industrial or commonly referred to as Prakerin is a realization of the part of education in Vocational High School (SMK) by providing students directly to enter the Business and Industrial World. The reason is, students must be equipped with soft skills and hard skills, one of the soft skills that students must possess is to be able to problems solve which can be seen from the Emotional Intelligence of the student in order to support the Prakerin Results or the values obtained. Therefore, this study aims to find out how much influence emotional intelligence has on the results of industrial practice or prakerin of students at SMK 1 Lintau Buo.This type of research is a correlation research with a population of 250 students with a sample of 154 students, taken using Proportional Random Sampling technique. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through questionnaires distributed to students, while secondary data is data obtained from Public Relations of SMK 1 Lintau Buo. Data analysis techniques used are: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Test requirements analysis, which consists of normality test and linearity test to prove that the distribution of data comes from samples that are normally and linearly distributed, and 3) Hypothesis Test. The results of this study can be concluded that there is an influence between emotional intelligence on the results of the practicum of students of SMK 1 Lintau Buo with the correlation coefficient number of 0.193 and the percentage contribution to learning outcomes of 3.72%.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Prakerin Results

Abstract

Abstract- The aims of assessement based 2013 curriculum  wasto determine the achievement of learner competencies. This curriculum emphasized authentic assessement,that  include the domain of the attitude assessement, knowledge and skill was expected to able to shape the student character. Teacher education qualification were expected to have mastered role in it. The obstacle faced by teacher in the assessment include the lack of training and many teacher who have not mastered the computer operation. Based on this background, a study was conducted which aimed to find out how well the teachers level of understanding of the learning outcomes assessement based on the 2013 curriculum on contruction and property engineering study programs at SMK N in the Padang City and in terms of educational qualifications. This research was descriptive type with a population of 41 teachers in the construction and property engineering program at SMK N 1 Sumbar, SMK N 1 Padang, and SMK N 5 Padang. Data collection is done using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has 4 alternative answers and consist of positive and negative statements. Statement items totaling 49 pieces. The result of the study show that the level of teacher understanding in 2013 curriculum assessement is classified into fairly good category, namely: the concept of assessement is categorizied as good. In the implementation, development, and processing of assessements are quite good category. Keywords: Level of Understanding, Authentic Assessement, 2013 Curriculum.

Abstract

Abstract­—This research aims to reveal the Teaching Readiness of Students of Building Engineering Education Study Program FT-UNP as Prospective Professional Teachers in Vocational Schools. This type of research is descriptive. This research was conducted in the Civil Engineering Department of the FT-UNP. Respondents in this study were students who had implemented PPLK in the school year July-December 2017 / 2018. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires. While the sampling technique used is total sampling. In this study the number of respondents was 44 people. The results of this study indicate that the students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program FT-UNP are in the category both in terms of the level of readiness to teach pedagogical and professional competencies. Keywords: Readiness, Teach, Professional Teachers.

Abstract

Abstract —The background of this design is the lack of school infrastructure in SMKN 1 Padang, including pedestrian facility for linking all buildings and assembly hall as a meeting room for school stakeholder. The design scheme includes programming, data analysis, concept making, and design activities. Primary data were obtained from interviews and field surveys, while secondary data were obtained from literature study. Macro analysis techniques were used to analyze area and building site, while micro analysis was carried out toward design objects. The results of the design are 1 assemby hall and podium room with an area of 390 m2, 2 units male and female lavatory with an area of 11.5 m2 each, 2 units male and female changing room with an area of 5 m2 each, 1 unit lobby room with an area of 13.5 m2, 1 unit tool room with an area of 2.5 m2, 1 unit warehouse with an area of 2.5 m2, 1 unit reception room with an area of 4.5 m2, and pedestrian facility linking all buildings. The budget plan for the design is Rp. 3,948,434,000.00 (Three billion nine hundred forty-eight million four hundred thirty-four thousand rupiahs). Keywords: Assembly Hall Design, Pedestrian.

Abstract

Abstract– This research is motivated by the number of student who have not met the standards of KKM in Technical Mechanics. One of the factors causing the low value of students is the quality of the task is not good. This research aimed to investige the quality at items of task that already made by the teacher’s to the final exam for the Technical Mechanics subject in grade X of SMK N 5 Padang in the 2018/2019 in term of validity, reliability, difficullty index, discrimination index and distractor function. The data were colleced through documentation. The results of the calculation and analysis were as follows: 55% of the items valid; moderate reliability because the coefficient was 0,616; in terms of difficulty level of 20% is easy, 65% is mederate, and 15% is difficult; in the of discriminat of 70% is poor discrimination, 20% is moderately good discrimination, and 10% is good discrimination and in term of distractor function, 20% is very well functioning, 25% is well functioning, 35% is relatively well functioning, 15% is relatively poor, and 5% is poor functioning. The whole task of final exam for the Technical Mechanics subject in grade X of SMK N 5 Padang in the 2018/2019 academic year was in general in the moderately good category.Keywords: Tes Item Analysis, Technical Mechanics
