Jurnal Vocational Teknik Elektronika dan Informatika (VoteTEKNIKA) is a peer-reviewed, scientifc journal published by Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the fields of Vocational Education, Electronics Engineering and Informatics. <![CDATA[This research is purposed to reveal scales of student’s learning motivation contribution and pedagogical competence of teachers grade for computer and information management skills subject at X class SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang. The type of this research is descriptive correlation. Populations in this research are 164 students, and samples are amount to 62 students of X class SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang, school of year 2012/2013. Samples are taken by simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique in this research is Pearson product moment and multiple-correlation. Results from data analysis claimed that there are contributions from learning motivation and pedagogical competence of teachers grade of computer and information management skills subject at X class SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang, as follow: (1) student’s learning motivation gives contribution to student’s grade by 21,34%, (2) pedagogical competence of teachers gives contribution to student’s grade by 17,89%, (3) student’s motivation to learn together with pedagogical competence of teachers give contribution to student’s grade by 27,98%. This research suggest that student’s motivation to learn and pedagogical competence of teachers give contribution to student’s grade.]]>

<![CDATA[The Development of Management Information Systems of Final Assignment (TA)/ Final Project (PA)/ Thesis (Skripsi) at the Department of Electronics Engineering FT UNP aims to assist the management of TA / PA / Skripsi and provides a web-based database for TA / PA / Skripsi that already list into the Department of Electronics Engineering . During this time , the management of TA / PA / Skripsi carried out manually using a computer and can not be accessed online by the stakeholders . This system is designed to facilitate the selection of titles by KaProdi and Penasehat Akademik , guidance between lecturers and students , besides helping in the administration documentation TA / PA / Skripsi . This information system using the PHP programming language and MySQL database . This final project discusses the design method Context Diagram , DFD and ERD . <![CDATA[This research aimed to see whether there is a difference between learning outcomes using cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament ( TGT ) with the learning outcomes using direct learning. This research is an experimental research, the researchpopulation is a class X student of the installation of Electric Power Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya TA 2013/2014 . The sampling technique was done by using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling . The data collected from the test results in the form of learning objective questions about as many as 35 points . Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel to test homogeneity , normality , and hypothesis testing . From the results of research conducted tests on samples of both groups gained an average of learning outcomes for the experimental group the average value of the initial test was 49.1 and the average value of the final test is 81.8 with an increase of 32.7. For the control group the average value of the initial test was 52.2 and the average value of the final test is 72.2 with an increase of 20 . The results of the hypothesis by using Microsoft Excel found that tcount 5,960 > 1,671 ttable, so the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted or rejected the null hypothesis (H0). This means that the average significant learning outcomes experimental class higher than the average of the control class learning outcomes .]]>

<![CDATA[Processing of asset management and inventarize at SMKN 7 Padang running manually such as inventarize of new stuff to be record through ledger by hand. Cause of that, the managing asset operator have troubles to manage and making asset management reports, managing and checking supply data of stuff, list of entry and ordering stuff, difficult to search data and making data stuff that already exist. To solve this problem, we made an information management system of asset management and inventaries. Scheme of the system method used system development life cycle (SDLC). It start from system design to phase scheme of detailed system, like flowmap, and DBMS (Database Of Management System) for databases, normalization, ERD (Entity Relationship diagram) and also use Java for language program and Neatbeans 7.4 for IDE. It will be implemented through the desktop. The advantages of this application is : facilitating in data processing and help the operator to manage the asset of inventaries at SMKN 7 Padang. Beside that, this program provide simplicity for students, teachers, and visitors to borrowing and repayment asset of inventarize at SMKN 7 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to gain a significant performance speed processor after the processor clockspeed increase in learning the principles of good processor clockspeed increase , as well as the stable and see the effect caused by overclocking the computer system performance when used daily . This research is an experiment that is true experiment , data collection technique is to conduct experiments and take measurements on the processor . Data analysis technique used is to look at the percentage increase in performance by comparing the measurement results with the end of the initial measurement . The measurement results showed that successful overclock to 17 % with the processor fan is still the standard and performance of the system is still stable , which is indicated by the results of measurements of OCCT . The results of measurements of sintetic test shows that the system performance is also increasing the speed increases . So also with the results of measurements and timing test rendering test . Real - life test also showed when the game GTA IV and the blender running, not the case of failure , such as crashes and down .]]>

<![CDATA[This study specifically aims to determine the use of facebook amongst students of SMAN 4 Payakumbuh, and to investigate the students' response to the use of facebook as a medium of learning support. This study uses a descriptive study, in which only describe a situation or event does not explain the relationship and do not test hypotheses and make predictions. The study population was a tenth grade students of SMAN 4 Payakumbuh, semester 1. By using purposive sampling technique, class X4 obtained as a sample class. Data were obtained from the research literature (library research) and field research (field research) with a questionnaire instrument that contains 22 written statement, which must be answered by the respondents. A technique of data analysis in this research is to use the technique of percentage. The results showed that, in general, students of SMAN 4 Payakumbuh have regular and accustomed to using facebook, and for this use the facebook application just for fun. The research shows that the use of facebook as a medium of learning support have a positive impact for students, because not only students can play the facebook app, but can also use facebook as a medium for learning and discussion about learning. The research is a descriptive correlational . The researchpopulation numbered is 59 people and sample totaled 37 studentsof class X Computer Engineering and Networks SMK Negeri 8Padang Academic Year 2012/2013.Using Technique of randomsampling ( Simple random sampling ) . and Data collection usingquestionnaires and documentation . Data were analyzed usingPearson product moment correlation and multiple correlation foranalysis . The results of data analysis showed : ( 1 ) learningmotivation to contribute 25.16 % of the learning outcomes ofstudents of SMK Negeri 8 Padang Academic Year 2012/2013 ,(2) laboratory facilities accounted for 19.82 % of the learningoutcomes of students of SMK Negeri 8 Champaign AcademicYear 2012/2013 , (3) Learning Motivation and Labor facilitiestogether accounted for 27.84 % of the learning outcomes ofstudents of SMK Negeri 8 Padang Academic Year 2012/2013 . Soit can be concluded that the motivation to learn and laboratoryfacilities contribute to the learning outcomes , the higher thestudents' motivation in the learning process and the betterutilization of laboratory facilities , the learning outcomes will behigher.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the contribution of learning interest and personal competence of teachers toward student’s grade for Graphic Arts subject at X class of Multimedia Department at SMK Negeri 1 Kecamatan Luak. The type of this research is a descriptive correlational. Population in this research are 65 students, and samples are amount to 39 students. Samples are taken by simple random sampling technique. Student’s grade data obtained from teacher’s of graphic arts at SMK Negeri 1 Kecamatan Luak. And data of learning interest and personal competence of teachers were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis showed: (1) Learning interest and personal competence of teachers together contributed 61.5% for student’s grade, (2) Learning interest contributed 17.14% for student’s grade, (3) Competence teacher's personality contributed 16.64% for student’s grade. This research suggest that student’s interest in learning and personal competence of teachers give contribution to student’s grade.]]>
