Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors affecting international banking activities,especially the transactions of Islamic International Trade Financing (case studyin XYZ Islamic Bank). Multinomial Logistic regression analysis was used in thisstudy. The independent variable consisted of capability of human resources, customers’ needs of Islamic International Trade Financing (IITF) facilities and product divercification of Islamic International Trade Finance. Meanwhile, the dependent variable was the Islamic International Trade Financing activities at XYZ Islamic Bank. This study used both primary and secondary data where primary data collected from questionnaire survey of 70 respondents and secondary data from various literatures. The result showed that the factor that significantly affected the Islamic International Trade Financing was the custumers’ needs of Islamic International Trade Financing. The other two factors did not significantly affect the Islamic International Trade Financing at XYZ Islamic Bank. The influence of customers in increasing Islamic International Trade Financing at XYZ Islamic Bank was the active customers which had opportunity 6.024 times higher than the passive customers in affecting Islamic International Trade Financing at XYZ Islamic bank. Recommendation from this study is encouraging the consumer to enhance international trade finance transaction to be more recognize the characteristics of XYZ Islamic Bank consumer. This way would be change passive consumer become active consumer.

Abstract

Financial stability in the banking industry is important because it is a dynamicand high-risk industry. The purpose of this study was to compare the stability ofIslamic and conventional banking in Indonesia by assessing the level of volatility ofReturn on Assets (ROAV), managerial stability which can be seen from the value ofTobin’s Q, Non-Performing Loans/ Financing and liquidity in both of banking andusing 11 Islamic banks and 11 conventional banks as samples. The quarterly secondarydata was used in the observation start in 2011 and will end in 2013 using paneldata regression. The results of the study explained that there are several factors, bothinternal banks factors consist of banking profit before tax, credits to total assets ratio,the ratio of loss reserves to total financing, operating expenses to income operationalratio and macroeconomic factors include the level of the exchange rate rupiah toUSD, BI Rate, and GDP growth are significantly influence the financial stability ofIslamic and conventional banking. The conclusion indicates that the level of financialstability of Islamic banking is still lower than conventional banking.

Abstract

The purpose of this journal is for determine relationship between motivations andjob performance staff at Bank Aceh branch Aceh Tenggara. The model of structurewas conducted in this analysis based on theory and research has been done relatedto motivation and job performance. The theory use in variable motivation is Theoryof Maslow and for variable job performance use element that has been conduct byMathis and Jackson. Analysis in this paper use three step there is reduction, presentation of data and conclution or verification. From this paper founded both of variable is influence each other, but there had dominant step in variable motivation there is appreciation, physiology and actualization, then for dominant step at performancevariable is quantity of job, quality of job and accuracy of time.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to investigate the effect of service quality and innovationon switching behavior. Colleger of Syiah Kuala University as the consumers ofSubscriber Identity Module card Telkomsel is taken as a sample in this study. Themethod of this study employed questionnairs as an instrument. Total sampling is appliedas the study’s proportional technique. Hierarchical Linear Modelling methodsof analysis are used to determine the influence of the variables involved. The resultof this study indicates that service quality have positive effect on switching behavior,service quality have positive effect on innovation, and innovation has positive effecton switching behavior. The study also shows that innovation influential significantlyagainst service quality nor against switching behavior. In addition abtained resultsthat innovation has partial mediated the effect of service quality to impulse switchingbehavior.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the influence of Voluntary disclosure andCorporate social responsibility toward Earnings response coefficient at manufacturingcompanies in Islamic Index of Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012-2014. Thedata used in this research was secondary data and there were 29 samples taken by applying Purposive sampling technique. The method of data analysis was Multiple linearregression and Classical Assumption test. The result of analysis simultaneouslyindicated that the Voluntary disclosure influenced significantly on Earning responsecoefficient at manufacturing companies in Jakarta Islamic Index with the level ofsignificance about 0.000. Corporate Social Responsibility influenced positively andsignificantly toward Earning response coefficient at manufacturing companies inJakarta Islamic Index with the level of significance about 0,000. Simultaneously,Voluntary disclosure and Corporate social Responsibility influenced positively andsignificantly on the Earning Response Coefficient at manufacturing companies inJakarta Islamic Index.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the success rate of financial management informationsystem. The research variables consisted of information quality, system quality,service quality, user satisfaction, usage and net benefits. The population of thisstudy consists of all government unit of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar district. Therespondents are users SIPKD namely officials financial manager, treasurer and treasurer reception. Sample selected by survey methods, which the entire population used as the research sample. Methods of data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel 8.8 tools. The results using De Lone and McLean IS SuccessModel (2003) showed that out of 9 hypotheses constructed, 7 hypotheses show theeffect. Two other hypotheses do not show the influence that the quality system is touse and the quality of service to use. Overall SIPKD can be considered a success.

Abstract

Every individual has a different conscientiousness, this causes different reactionsof self-control and ultimately counterproductive academic behaviors that occur arealso different. The research objective to be achieved is to examine the influence ofthe nature of self-control and conscientiousness on academic behavior is counterproductive, and self-control on academic behavior is counterproductive, and examine the role of mediator variable restraint on the effect of precautionary nature of the academic behavior is counterproductive. Based on the research results that the first hypothesis which states the nature conscientiousness have a negative effect on academic counterproductive behavior is not supported. The second hypothesis which states the nature concientiousness have a positive effect on self-control is supported. The third hypothesis which states that self-control negative effect on academic counterproductive behavior is not supported. The fourth hypothesis which states restraint mediating influence of the nature of prudence on academic behavior counterproductive partially supported mediation. Someone who has a personality trait conscientiousness and low self-control tend to behave academic counterproductive.

Abstract

Purchasing decisions is the end result of a thought and action in the purchase decision for use, wear, or consume a product or service to meet the needs and desires. The decision of purchase or use can be influenced by brand image and distribution. This study aimed to determine the effect of brand image and distribution on purchase decisions on PT. Harian Waspada Medan. The population in this study is that consumers use a shipping service PT. Harian Waspada Medan. Data collection techniques to study the documentation, interviews and questionnaires to 100 respondents with accidental sampling technique as well as to test the validity and reliability, data analysis techniques using classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, T-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination ( R-Square). Classical assumption test results known that the normal data so that both are used for multiple linear regression, multiple linear regression Y = 11 563 + 0.580X1 + 0.427X2. Ttest brand image variables obtained t 5.274 1.984 Ttable, significant value 0.000 0.05, showed a significant influence between the variables of the brand image of the buying decision. Then the distribution of variables obtained tcount 3.670 1.985 ttable, significant value 0.001 0.05, indicating the significant influence of the variable distribution of purchase  decision. Ftest obtained Fcount 47.933 Ftabel amount 3,090 with significant value 0.000 0.05, that the brand image and distribution simultaneously together significantly with purchasing decisions. Coefficient of determination obtained 0.497 or 49.7% indicated that about 49.7% variable purchase decisions are influenced brand imageand distribution, the remaining 50.3% is influenced by other variables not examined.
