One of the therapies for the patients with chronic kidney failure is diet. In fact, the sufferers sometimes give less participation on the diet. One of the factors is the patient?s knowledge about diet. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out the correlation between the knowledge level and the diet obedience level in the patients with chronic kidney failure having regular hemodialysis in Darmo Hospital. The design of study was analytic-observational. The population involved all of the patient with chronic kidney failure having regular hemodialysis in Darmo hospital. totally 63 people, in which 54 respondents were taken as the samples by using simple random sampling technique. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. The independent variable was the knowledge, whereas the dependent one was the diet obedience. Moreover, the data analysis was done by using Mann-Whitney?s test with the significance level ? = 0.05. The result of study showed that most of the respondents (59%) had high level of knowledge, whereas nearly all of them (83.3%) were obedient with their diet. Furthermore, the result of analysis showed that p = 0.220 so that p > ? which meant that there was no significance correlation between knowledge and diet obedience. The conclusion of study was that the knowledge was not the main factor of the diet obedience. There are other supporting factors, such as experiences in having hemodialysis therapy that can affect someone to go on a diet. Hence, the nurses and their family should play a role more actively in giving counseling about the diet for chronic kidney failure.

The relationship with weaning weight in the region of Kedurus RW 03 sub-district of Karangpilang Surabaya. ASI (mother?s milk) given mandatory in infants from birth, and when a baby enters the age to 6 months, baby food introduced on new companion. ASI (mother?s milk) could still be forwarded until the child is two years old. However, the phenomenon that there are many mothers who do the weaning age of 2 years. This research aims to analyze the relationship with weaning weight in the region of Kedurus RW 03 sub-district of Karangpilang Surabaya.The design used in this study was observational, analytic. The approach used in this study is a ?Cross Sectional?. the entire research population mother who does weaning for 1 month in the region of 15 people with Simple Random Sampling techniques. The independent variable is the dependent variable and weaning weight. Instruments questionnaire and KMS, analyzed using test Chi ? Square with significant levels of ? = 0,05 .Result of research the majority of age of weaning <2 years and almost half of (66,6%) it down (46,6%). Chi - Square test analysis results showed, ? = 0.042 >< ? = 0.05 or ?<? then, it can be concluded that H0 is denied, which means there is a relationship between weaning weight. This research, it could be concluded that there is a relationship between weaning weight. Development of video learning media examination of vital signs on Diploma 3 Nursing Programme in Unusa. Video is the media to help the implementation of practical learning independently. The utilization of video for DIII nursing program even UNUSA was minimum because there had never been research development related of action or competencies of nursing, particularly the examination of vital signs: blood pressure, temperature, pulse and breathing. The purpose of this research were to develop and to find out the feasibility of video learning media examination of vital signs. The methods used in this research was Research Development (Research & Development). The Model used was the development of procedural models, i.e. models that are descriptive, indicating the steps to be followed to produce a product. On the research of the development of this will result in a product video learning media examination of Vital Signs. Research conducted through the preliminary study stage, development and evaluation. The results showed that (1) the resulting video learning examination of Vital Signs, (2) media expert and video learning material stated examination of vital signs declared eligible. Video learning Media examination of vital signs can be used as a medium of learning alternative to increase motivation, independence and creativity of students in improving skills examination of vital signs. Educators also are expected to be motivated to make a video learning competence of the other as an alternative medium of learning.

The performance of nurses in providing nursing care is still considered unsatisfactory by the patient. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of the performance of nurses in providing nursing care with patient?s satisfaction in Multazam ward of Surabaya Islamic Hospital. Design of this studied Analytical survey. The population were all patients in Multazam ward of Surabaya Islamic Hospital with amount 85 person. Number of sample were 39 respondents, taken by simple random sampling. The independent variable is performance of nurses in providing nursing care, dependent variable is patient?s satisfaction. Instruments use questionnaires, data were processed by editing, coding, scoring, and tabulating, then analyzed by Chi-Square test with significant level ? = 0.05. Study result showed most of respondents 39 (51.3%) the nurse had a poor performance, and most them (56,4%) the patients are not satisfied. Results of Chi-Square test analysis showed p (0.038) < ? (0.05), so H0 is rejected means there is relationship of the performance of nurses in providing nursing care with patient?s satisfaction in Multazam ward of Surabaya Islamic Hospital. The conclusions of this study is the performance of nurses in providing nursing care influence to the patient satisfaction. Nurses should responsive to the complaints and expectations of patients due.

The relationship with the mother's level of anxiety in the first stage of labor active phase in BPM Atik Suharijati Surabaya. Mothers who experienced the process of labor is a physiological thing, but in reality people still think childbirth is a life and death stakes. Mothers who give birth experience anxiety levels cause birth becomes pathological. This study aims to determine the relationship with the mother's level of anxiety in the first stage of labor active phase in BPM Atik Suharijati Surabaya. Design analytical research with cross sectional approach. The population around the third trimester pregnant women who face labor in BPS Atik Suharijati in April-May 2015 of 25 respondents. A sample of 12 respondents in October was taken with the technique of "purposive sampling". Independent variables and the dependent variable levels of anxiety long active phase. Collecting data using questionnaires and partograf. Data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test with a significance level a = 0.05. The results showed nearly half (41.7%) had mild anxiety and the majority of respondents (75%) had active phase <6 hours. Statistical test results obtained ? = 0.024 <? = 0.05, H0 is rejected means that there is a relationship with the mother's level of anxiety in the first stage of labor active phase in BPS Atik Suharijati. The conclusions of this study is the higher the mother's level of anxiety, the more disturbing the birth process to be gone through. So that health workers are expected to continue to provide information or understanding to pregnant women about childbirth and the factors that influence it.

Analysis of factors Affecting The Participant Pregnant Women Gymnactics in BPS Nina Surabaya. Pregnant women should get treatment during pregnancy. Treatment during pregnancy or antenatal care can be done via examination of pregnancy, pregnancy exercise, nutrition and other compliance requirements. Pregnancy exercise is an exercise undertaken to prepare and train the muscles so that it can be used to function optimally in a normal delivery.This study uses an analytical method with cross sectional design prospective. Sampling using total sampling technique. The independent variable is education, parity and maternal knowledge, while the dependent variable is exclusive breastfeeding. Data were analyzed using chi square test.The results showed a correlation between age and support of husband / family with the participation of pregnant women during pregnancy exercise with a p-value of <0.05, whereas for education and parity are not related to the participation of pregnant women against pregnancy exercise with a value of p>0.05.The conclusions of this study are the factors that influence the participation of pregnant women during pregnancy exercise is aged and the support of husband / family.

influence contraction of uterus characteristics with length of second period in BPS Sahabat Perempuan Gunung Anyar Surabaya. Contraction of uterus is the major physiological force during the delivery process of second period. Based on the results of preliminary studies, there is still mother who get pathological second period of childbirth. Intention of this research is to identity influence contraction of uterus characteristics with length of second period. Design this research use analytic with cohort method. The population is all of the mother who have the interpretation of labor on June 14 until July 9 and delivery at private practice midwife Sahabat Perempuan Gunung Anyar Surabaya, which amounts 30 respondents. Big of sample 28 respondents, were teken with probability sampling techniques, that is simple random sampling. Processing by editing, coding and tabulating. Variable independent is contraction of uterus characteristics and variable dependent is length of second period. Result of this research with test of chie-squares with significance level ? = 0,05. Most respondents with contraction of uterus characteristics normally is (53,3 % ) only a small proportion who get pathological second period of childbirth (18,75 %). From got by statistical test result of ? = 0,025 and ? < ? of meaning H1 accepted, it means there is correlation between contraction of uterus characteristics with length of second period at private practice midwife Sahabat Perempuan Gunung Anyar Surabaya. It can see from Odds Ratio (OR) is getting 7,8 (95 % CI : 1,47 ? 41,21). Its means contraction of uterus characteristics more effective for length of second period. This research conclusion that there more mother delivering have contraction of uterus characteristics normally, so more big chance mother delivering for felt with length of second period. Adviced to pregnant women to trying the contraction of uterus with pregnancy gymnastic, it can train the muscle strength of the stomach, hips, and other supporting muscle that are not rigid and well coordinated, so the contraction of uterus become normally.

The role of nurses in the early identification and treatment on Acute Coronary Syndrome. Introduction : Acute Coronary Syndrome ( ACS ) is an emergency in the coronary arteries . Nurses are very necessary to provide treatment of acute coronary syndrome accurately and precisely both prehospital and intrahospital . Methods: The literature search from April 2006 through April 2016 in MEDLINE, NCBI, CINAHL using key words : Acute Coronary Syndrome, treatment and does not restrict the research sampling. Results: Based on the literature review 10 obtained the enforcement of early diagnosis of ACS should be done immediately, which can be done by looking of three criteria: chest pain, ECG changes and sign biochemical (biomarker serum). Discussion: The nursing care must have role in the management of ACS. Therefore the quality of care given depends on the knowledge and skills of nurses both prehospital and intrahospital

The Effectivity of Tui Na massage to overcome feeding difficulties in infants in RW 02 of Wonokromo District Surabaya. The children?s growth and development depends on the fulfillment of nutrients. Some problems which often occur in the fulfillment of nutrient are feeding difficulty in infants which can cause growth interference or stunting. The common cause of feeding difficulty in infants is divided into 3 factors, such as loss of appetite, impaired gastrointestinal function, and disruption of eating process of oral motor. To overcome feeding difficulty can be done through pharmacology or non pharmacology. The efforts of pharmacology way such as by giving miltivitamin, and another micronutrient. While non pharmacology way such as through drink herbal / herbs, massage, acupressure, and acupuncture. This study aims to analyze the effectivity of Tui Na massage in overcome feeding difficulty in infants. This was an observational analytic with crosssectional approach. The population used was all mothers and infants who are living in RW 02 Wonokromo District Surabaya as 27 people. The sample used is mostly mothers and the infants who were living in RW 02 of Wonokromo District Surabaya was 23 people. Its used a simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by Chi Square test with significant value alpha = 0.05. The results showed that the p value 0.009 < ? 0.05. Tui Na massage is effective to overcome feeding difficulty in infants in RW 02 Wonokromo District Surabaya. The conclusions of this study is the more routine Tui Na massage is done, the easier way to overcome feeding difficulty. It is expected that the infant?s mother are capable and routine to apply this massage

A woman looking at pregnancy as a natural result marital relationship, intended and unintended. Most of the other women received a pregnancy as a natural desire and even some women, including teens, the pregnancy is the result of sexual experimentation without using contraception and pregnancy showed no preparation is a problem. This study aimed readiness relationship with the incidence of postpartum blues pregnancy on postpartum mothers in RSIA Prima Husada Sidoarjo. Methods: The study design was cross-sectional analytic, the entire population was puerperal women of 30 people, with a simple random sampling technique obtained a sample of 28 people. the independent variable is the readiness of pregnancy and the dependent variable was the incidence of post partum blues. The instruments used were questionnaires, analyzed with the chi-square statistic. Results: of the 28 respondents, there were 15 respondents were unprepared for pregnancy, most experience post partum blues events. Results of chi-square test with significance level ? = 0.05, P = 0.000 found <? = 0.05, H0 is rejected that there is a relationship with the incidence of pregnancy readiness post partum blues. Conclusion: mothers who are not ready to get pregnant may experience post partum blues. Suggestion: the provision of information about the gestation period should be given to the couple before pregnancy.
