Abstract

Occupational health and safety (OHS) is a top priority in the construction industry due to the high risk of workplace accidents, often caused by negligence or unsafe environmental conditions. This study aims to identify potential hazards in the workplace, assess the risk levels posed by these hazards, and develop control measures to create a safer work environment. The method used is Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC). The results show that the application of the HIRARC method is effective in identifying various potential hazards in the workplace and providing appropriate control recommendations to reduce the risk of accidents. These control recommendations include preventive measures that the company can implement to enhance worker safety. This study not only helps the company improve its occupational health and safety performance but also contributes valuable insights to the field of OHS. In conclusion, the implementation of the HIRARC method plays a crucial role in minimizing workplace accident risks and creating safer and healthier working conditions in the construction industry.

Abstract

In the ever-growing business world, effective and efficient data management is the key to success. Along with the need for automation and better data management, the implementation of database systems is a relevant solution. Database systems allow the storage, processing, and presentation of information in a structured and accurate manner, thus helping to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. One of the challenges faced by many businesses, including LCB Cake & Beyond, is that the transaction process is still done manually. Conventional data recording is not only time-consuming, but also has a high risk of recording errors that can hinder operations and decision-making. Therefore, this research aims to design and implement a database application system to optimize the ordering process and store data management. The method used is waterfall with the help of Microsoft Access software. This system is designed to automate the process of data input, sales recording, and report generation quickly and accurately. The results showed that the database application developed was able to improve operational efficiency and minimize errors in the data management process, as well as provide convenience for users in accessing real-time information.

Abstract

Manual financial management at the neighborhood association (RT) level often results in data disorder, miscommunication, and low transparency and citizen participation. In the digital era, a web-based financial information system is an important solution for realizing effective and accountable fund management. This study aims to implement a web-based financial management information system to improve RT cash transparency at Meadow Green Residence 3, Depok. This study uses a qualitative approach with a grounded research method, through field observations, interviews, and literature studies. The COBIT 2019 framework is applied as a reference in designing system governance. The system is designed using UML and ERD diagrams, then implemented into a web interface. Testing is carried out using the black box testing method. The results show that the system runs according to design, all features such as login, transaction input, reports, and printing of reporting periods function properly. This system is able to improve the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of RT financial management, and is suitable for implementation in similar communities.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) aim to prepare graduates to be ready to enter the workforce or become enterpreneurs. To evaluate the quality of education and support the development of educational systems and mangement, tracer studies are essential. However, SMK Negeri 1 Karang baru does not yet have a tracer study application, resulting in alumni data being collected manually and inefficiently. Various studies have been conducted on the development of web-based tracer study applications in vocational high schools (SMK), but most still use conventional approaches and have not implemented RESTful API as a web service. Until now, no studies have been found that specifically develoved a web-based tracer study application using a RESTful API architecture to support system interroperability and flexibility. This study aims to develop a web-based tracer study application a RESTful API as the backend, in order to improve the efficiency of alumni data processing and facilitate cross-platform access. The implementation if focused on SMK Negeri 1Karang Baru as a case study.
