Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is important to maintain and improve so that the quality of human resources in the company is always in prime condition. Every company has a different level or level of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). PT. XYZ is a company that uses corrosive materials, therefore Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) analyst at PT XYZ is needed. The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) analysis carried out in this study used the FMEA method to determine which part of the production process had Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) that needed repair the most. From the research results, it was found that the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value was the pickling and degreasing production process.

The environment is one of the important factors in the success of an industrial company. This triggers the company to improve overall performance to implement a better environmental management system. ISO 14001 is an international standard that can be applied by companies to maintain and improve environmental management systems. This study aims to analyze the application of environmental management systems at PT. XYZ and know how far the company is ready to implement ISO 14001. The method used in this study is the Self Assessment Checklist for assessing clauses at ISO 14001. Data collection is done by observing the study site and conducting interviews with employees to obtain information at the company. Data processing is done by assessing the ISO 14001 clause with a self assessment checklist. The results of this study note that the value of the company's readiness to implement an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 standards is equal to 50.41% with a weak category.

In determining the cost of production and sales of a product unit is often faced with problems in making decisions. Determination of the cost of the production unit can be done more quickly and there is a standardized calculation method correctly and correctly. The purpose of this research is to determine and calculate the cost of production per unit of product in a certain amount based on the imposition of production costs. Imposing production costs. The production cost calculation is determined on these production cost components, both by direct and indirect costing in accordance with the organizational structure approach of the company concerned. The result of the research shows that the calculation of the unit cost for the Inner tube product based on the current experience and knowledge of the company is Rp. 15,200 per unit, while the results of research using the distribution method of the production unit cost of Rp. 13,045 per unit. Thus, there is a difference in the unit cost of the product that is 20% cheaper than it is currently in the company

The company produces several automotive components in Karawang. For the production process using Fanuc machines on Line1, but the results of evaluating the performance of the engine Fanuc Line1 engine effectiveness is not optimal. It was alleged that due to the planning and maintenance of the management machinery was not good, so that the frequency of damage to the machine was still high, which gave the effect that the production was not achieved. For this reason, the effectiveness of the use of Fanuc line1 is done by using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method with the Six big losses calculation approach so that the level of efficiency can be known. The results showed that the magnitude of the OEE value on Fanuc line1 machines in April – August 2018 amounted to 78.82%, this value is still below the JIPM standard of 85%. The amount of Losses is influenced by reduced speed loss of 57.47% and breakdown loss of 22.79%.

Post-harvest processing of bananas Muli local Karawang – Loji area became a research study on a breakthrough the kind of food products. Previously, this fruit only sold to consumers in the roadside, and the rest was thrown away or not utilized. Users prefer to consume directly and fresh. After that, its medium size with a diameter 3 to 4 cm caused this raw material did not display to be a selling outcome such as “sale” or chips. Bananas Muli has never received further food processing compared to other types of bananas (such as bananas Kepok, bananas Raja, bananas Tanduk, bananas Ambon, and others). The term of fruit leather gave the development and novelty for product fruit categories in the form of sheets. Furthermore, the process that occurred was decreasing water content used microwave and oven dryers, then temperature range between 60-80oC with constant sample thickness in three suitable stabilizers. Utilization of oven dryers to produce banana leather products without stabilizers was more likely to choose a temperature of 70oC as the best condition for decreasing water content in the ingredients. Meanwhile, the use of microwaves was able to produce electromagnetic waves and caused collisions between molecules owned by the sample. The results indicated a positive effect. Carrageenan and starch were more capable of binding the water molecules. This way helped the process of reducing water content much faster from the surface (free water) to the area in the sample (water bound to the equilibrium water content). This research resulted in a decrease in water content in the example by 10,5701-12,8639% within 3 hours of the drying process at the optimum conditions

The implementation of a sales forecasting strategy is very important to be done in the company. But there are still many companies that still have not implemented this strategy, such as pt. Pupuk Kujang Cikampek. This company is a state-owned enterprise that handles the manufacture of domestic fertilizers In addition to making subsidized urea fertilizer, this company also makes non-subsidized fertilizers. Unlike subsidized fertilizers whose production has been determined by the government, this non-subsidized fertilizer often undergoes changes in the amount of production and there is often a buildup of finished goods supplies. This research was made to find out the amount of estimated value of the next period of sales in jumbo-sized non-subsidized urea fertilizer products with the method Single Exponential Smoothing and Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE). Based on the research that has been done, the forecasting results for the next production period have experienced stability and the percentage value of forecasting is 20.66% which means that the forecasting model carried out is feasible. Previously, according to the data obtained, sales in 2019 were patterned as unstable. Where every month experiences sales that rise and fall drastically. Penerapan strategi peramalan penjualan penting sekali dilakukan pada perusahaan. Namun masih banyak perusahaan yang masih belum menerapkan strategi ini, seperti pada PT. Pupuk Kujang Cikampek. Perusahaan ini merupakan badan usaha milik negara yang menangani pembuatan pupuk dalam negeri Selain membuat pupuk urea bersubsidi, perusahaan ini juga membuat pupuk non subsidi. Berbeda dengan pupuk bersubsidi yang produksinya telah ditentukan oleh pemerintah, pupuk non subsidi ini sering kali mengalami perubahan dalam jumlah produksi dan sering terjadi penumpukan persediaan barang jadi. Penelitian ini dibuat untuh mengetahui jumlah nilai peramalan penjualan periode selanjutnya pada produk pupuk urea non subsidi ukuran jumbo dengan metode Single Exponential Smoothing dan Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE). Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil peramalan untuk periode produksi selanjutnya mengalami kestabilan dan nilai persentase peramalan 20,66 % yang artinya model peramalan yang dilakukan layak. Sebelumnya menurut data yang didapatkan, penjualan tahun 2019 berpola tidak stabil. Dimana setiap bulannya mengalami penjualan yang naik turun secara drastis.

Abstrak: Area sekitar kawasan industri kabupaten Karawang dipenuhi oleh masyarakat lokal dan berdekatan kampus negeri Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Kedua hal ini menarik perhatian sejumlah penjualan bahan makanan dan minuman. Usia pembeli yang disoroti dimulai anak kecil hingga orang tua dengan permasalahan meningkatnya produk olahan daging sapi dan air minum. Hal ini terlihat oleh melimpahnya penjual air minum dan bakso. Harga jual kedua item tersebut bervariasi dan memberikan ruang besar daya tarik pembeli. Namun, dari segi perhitungan bahan baku menjadi produk ditemui adanya gap dari harga yang dicantumkan penjual. Selain itu, penduduk sekitar memiliki kegelisahan tentang air sumur yang digunakan sehari-hari seperti menimbulkan bau, berwarna kuning, dan berminyak. Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat sekitar atas dari dua bahasan ini membutuhkan edukasi sebagai langkah awal pendampingan kebutuhan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa Wadas berupa demonstrasi untuk makanan bakso dan sampel sejumlah air konsumsi dengan lokasi peragaan di sekitar pekarangan warga. Hasil di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pengggunaan kunyit mampu menunjukkan adanya bakso berboraks (tidak aman dikonsumsi). Kemudian, air konsumsi saat ini dapat dialihkan ke penggunaan air mineral telah mencantumkan SNI dan kondisi penyimpanan sesuai aturan yang diberikan. Masyarakat menjadi lebih peka dan mewaspadai kembali atas perilaku konsumtif untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuh. Abstract: The around the industrial area of Karawang was filled with local people and is adjacent to the Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (state campus). These two things attracted the attention of some food and beverage sales. The age of buyers who highlighted was from small children to the elderly with increasing processed beef products and drinking water. The abundance of drinking water and meatball sellers could show that. The selling price of these two items varied and provided a large space for buyer appeal. However, for calculating raw materials into products, there was a gap in the seller's price. Besides, residents had anxiety about the well water used daily, such as odor, yellow color, and oily. The community's shared knowledge of these two topics required education as the first step in assisting community needs. Community service activities in the village of Wadas were demonstrations for meatball food and samples of some water consumption at the demonstration's location around the residents' yards. The field results showed that turmeric could indicate the presence of borax meatballs (unsafe for consumption). According to the given rules, the current consumption water could then be diverted to mineral water, having included SNI and storage conditions. People were becoming more sensitive and wary of consumptive behavior to maintain a healthy body

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan di desa Karyabakti kecamatan Batujaya kabupaten Karawang bersama mitra UPPKS Jahe Merah. Fokus aktivitas yang diselenggarakan dari Oktober 2020 hingga Maret 2021 adalah peralihan peralatan produksi bubuk jahe merah sebagai hasil peninjauan lokasi usaha mitra bersama aparatur desa. Hasil diskusinya adalah memprioritasikan terlebih dahulu perubahan perlengkapan penghalusan (pelumatan) bahan baku jahe merah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penggunaan blender yang memiliki tantangan atas beban yang diberikan (jahe merah dan air). Dampaknya adalah alat hanya mampu mengolah 3 kg jahe merah selama 1 jam dan juga ditambahkan permasalahan kinerja lainnya (yang memberikan waktu proses lebih panjang. Tujuan transformasi peralatan produksi ini adalah menghemat waktu penghalusan bahan baku dan selanjutnya mengarahkan ke peningkatan kapasitas produksi dan manajemen produksi. Solusi ini memberikan ruang bagi mitra untuk menerapkan purwarupa dan tim pelaksana menjelaskan tata cara pembersihan pasca digunakan (sisi umur alat) dan juga K3 bagi konsumen (dibantu oleh PT TEiN Karawang). Hasil kegiatan pengabdian di desa Karyabakti mampu menurunkan waktu proses penghalusan menjadi 30 menit untuk 3 kg jahe merah segar dibandingkan peralatan semula. Keberhasilan ini menjadi peluang dan kesempatan bagi UPPKS setempat atas transformasi tersebut ke depannya yaitu semula 40-50 kg per bulan menjadi per hari. Abstract: Karyabakti village, Batujaya sub-district, Karawang district was the location for community service activities and UPPKS Jahe Merah (MSME red ginger) acted as a partner. The focus of activities held from October 2020 to March 2021 was the transfer of red ginger powder production equipment. This was the result of a survey of partner business locations with village officials. The result of the discussion was to prioritize changes in the refining equipment (mashing, pulverize, or milling) of the red ginger raw material. Previously, the use of a blender had challenges over the weight given (red ginger and water). The impact was that the equipment was only able to process 3 kg of red ginger for 1 hour and also added other performance problems (which give longer processing time. The purpose of this production equipment transformation was to save time for refining raw materials and then lead to increased production capacity and production management. This provided space for partners to implement prototypes and the implementation team explained the procedures for post-use cleaning (tool life side) as well as K3 for consumers (assisted by PT TEiN Karawang). The results of community service activities in Karyabakti village were able to reduce the refining process time to 30 minutes for 3 kg of fresh red ginger compared to the original equipment. This success was an opportunity and opportunity for the local UPPKS for this transformation in the future, from 40-50 kg per month to per day.

Abstract—Higher competition in businesslike field demanded each company acted as a value creator with progressive fixing performance. One of effort in increasing productivity was reducing waste. Enterprise T have seven type of extravagance were over production, transportation, inventory, over processing, motion waiting and defect. Minimize waste have bond with production time which could increase efficiency on using electricity and decreased lead time. Production process in this company showed non-value added time such as excessively material transportation in picking area and so the workers too much waited for the next schedule activity. This condition caused higher product lead time. Lean manufacturing idea necessary was implemented with using tool Value Stream Mapping – VSM. This strategy would resumed for the company maintenance and the result showed that lacking as much 26,45% of lead time could be a problem solution. Reducing lead time could be higher if the company have applied and played continue improvement.Keywords—lead time, lean manufacturing, value stream mapping.

To support the manufacturing system, the performance of the equipment used must be considered so that it can be used properly. PT. Voksel Electric Tbk. is a company engaged in the electricity and telecommunications industry. The production process of PT. Voksel Electric Tbk. inseparable from production tools or machines that have time and performance availability and are ready to fulfill company orders. One of the tools to measure the effectiveness of a machine is to use Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), which has been recognized worldwide to measure machine effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of effectiveness of the CETC 02 Coloring FO machine in the coloring line and its causes so that the company can make the right decision to fix it based on the results obtained. With 67% availability, 95% performance level, and 100% quality level, the total effectiveness of the entire machine in one work shift for 11 days from January 14 2020 to January 29 2020 is 63% which is above the fairness limit of the Japan Institute benchmark standard. of Plant Management (JIPM), namely 60%. The availability level accounts for the smallest percentage because it is caused by many things that require the machine to stop, whether intentional or unintentional, such as on January 22, 2020, the greatest downtime was recorded at 360 minutes because at that time the machine had a problem and could not be operated before it was handled by the maintenance department.
