Abstract

Manual correspondence and community data collection are problems facing by the Neighbourhood Unitsin Kreo, resulting in the old data collected are easily damaged and are not neatly and tidily arranged. This poses difficultyin evaluatingand reporting the existing activities carried out in the three Neighbourhood Units in the region. The aim of this training in science and technology for society is to produce an administrative data processing system in the Neighbourhood Unit (RT) so that the collected data can be more efficiently used during Neighbourhood Unit service. The use of this application may help each Neighbourhood Unit to search data of its community more efficiently and to serve its community more effectively, especially in correspondence and data collection of rich and poor communities. Further, this will facilitate the work of officials in the Community Units (RW), improve the Neighborhood Unit staff’s skill at technology, produce complete data, do reporting timely andencourage each Neighbourhood Unit to develop innovations beneficial to the community.

Abstract

Decision Support Systems (DSS) is a system that can assess the alternatives in order to help with the decision-making. Indonesian language lesson in Junior HighSchool, especially the topic of finding the main idea ina paragraph is still a focusIndonesian teachers keep as many students still have difficulty in understandinghow to find the main idea in a paragraph. Systems designed by using the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) will perform to determine the selected speed reading techniques in finding the main idea in a paragraph. The data are analyzedbyevaluating the questionnaires in the form of questions given to population consisting of 36 students. The built systems help to resolve and speed up the selected techniques for finding a main idea in a paragraph.

Abstract

This research is aimed at calculating the results of eta-meson photoproduction on protons using an isobar model to produce numerical data corresponding to the experimental data by investigating the reaction of photoproduction ,. The amplitude transitions at the center of mass frame are translated into amplitude of Chew-Goldberger-Low-Nambu (CGLN). The amplitude of the terms involving the channel-s, -t, and -u in Born term and Resonans term. The reaction of photoproduction is developed using isobaric models. Formulated also the differential cross section and polarization of photons to see the contribution of each channel. Model parameters are determined by ?tting the experimental data. The result is this model is not good enough to produce numerical data in accordance with the experimental data.So, further study is needed to fit the experimental data and substitute the form factor into the model in order to obtain the parameter values present in the model.

Abstract

Implementation of information system technology has been changing all aspects of human life, such as the human’s way of communicationthat is initially conventional into digital way. E-mail is a service provided by information technology system as a means to exchange information digitally. Even though communicating using e-mail has many advantages,it is vulnerable to digital attackers, such as tapping. Security is the key to securing information containedin e-mail. PT. TAMMAR FRASTI is a business organization that deals with Information Technology infrastructure among private companies that exchange their daily confidential information using e-mail online. S/MIME is one of the alternative security that can be implemented in e-mail. The final result of this research is the design of S/MIME protocol implementation in e-mail service for PT. TAMMAR FRASTI applying cryptographic techniques in the form of digital signatures and / or encryption proven to meet the aspects of information security. By implementing S/MIME, information security aspects such as confidentiality, integrity, authentication and non-repudiation expected by PT. TAMMAR FRASTI may be successfully realized.

Abstract

Visual Inspection Plate Insulator Check is a critical step of quality control to ensure materials used are pass quality standard. The problem of manual material inspection can not detect whether the materials used for production are fine (OK) or not good (NG). Because of the failure in the inspection, there will be material and manpower loss due to rejection. In addition, it may make more problems if this defect product (NG) is delivered to customer. Then, it will jeropardize the company credibility. The problem of inspection failure can happen because of human factor such as tired, inaccurate, low-skill operator inspection with visual check. Therefore in this study, the researcher will develop a visual inspection technique of material checking with imaging  processing backpropagation neural network. Using image processing technique, the differences between OK materials and NG material will be investigated from the both images. The product images will be captured in production line and the comparison will be observed with the OK product. It is expected, this inspection will be more accurate and does not depend on human factors. Finally, the technique can be developed further into automatic visual inspection by material checking, e.g. a kind of Plastic.

Abstract

PT. Mustika Ratu, Tbk , established since 1981, is anIndonesian manufacturer of cosmetic products and traditional herbal medicines. Total Production in 2016 amounted to 26,330,695 units. In the production process, the company washes the production machine after completion of the process, during which the water as much as 17-34 m3 from the washing is daily discharged to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). In a chemical vessel process or water purification process, the normal pH (6 to 9) can be made by adding alum and lime. This lime cleansing process produces a sludge or sludge precipitation. So far, the process of drying sludge still uses method of Drying Bed which dothe drying using sand, coral and fiber. The weakness of this method is it relies solely on the heat of the sun and the drying process takes a longer time during the rainy season. It is therefore necessary to think of purchasing a press filter machine to speed up the drying time and reduce the amount of sludge volume. Sludge waste volume monthly generated is as many as 8 tonon average, with the cost of removal of + Rp. 6,000,000. - if accumulated for 1 (one) year, it becomes Rp. 8,400,000. -. The research methods used are Payback Period Method, Net Present Value and Profitability Index Methods. The results of his research show that with Investment Value of the Purchase of Filter Press Machine of Rp. 170,000,000. - interest of 13% / year, present value of Rp. 93.600.000, a year – the company obtainsa payback period for 22 months (1.83 years), the value of NPV of Rp. 897,593,492. - and the value of Profitability Index (PI) of 6.3. So, it is concluded that the purchase of this machine is feasible.

Abstract

When starting a business, many prospective entrepreneurs find the capital an obstacle because they thinkthat they do not have enough capital. In fact, to run a business, the most important capital is a non-material capital such as marketing management science with marketing mix theories. The marketing tool is known as "4P" and developed into "7P", namely: Product, Price, Place/ Distribution, Promotion, People, Physical Evidence and Process. Based on these problems, a research is conducted to design a decision support system that helps to assist prospective entrepreneurs in determining the type of business based on 7P criteria. The method used in this research is Electre (Elimination and Choice Translation Reality) method. The result of this research is a decision support system of determining the type of business based on seven criteria (7P) in determining the type of business.

Abstract

Most students find a learning evaluation a bigissuebecause theyhave toreceive the learning evaluation by doing worksheetsin a tense atmosphere, leaving them with mixed feelings. Such can be turned into fun and interesting atmosphere for students if the teachers can take advantage of a computer-based technology. Learning evaluation can be performedby playing a guessing game, selecting pictures, arranging patterns, all of which can make students enthusiastic about doing their learning evaluation. The Quiz Creator is an application program that can make the interactive and fun learning evaluation. The Quiz Creator can be easily used in creating evaluation questions because the teachers do not need skill at a complicated programming to use it. Training and workshops that will be conducted forElementary School teachers are expected to encourage them to create interactive and fun learning evaluation materials. This is expected to make students more passionate about studyingbeforethe learning evaluation becausethe learning evaluation in classroom is conductedin fun and interactive ways.

Abstract

LPPM Unindra's Dipa Research Grantprogress report on the searching of the shortest route previously made by the researcher with the title Analysis of the Effectiveness of the Shortest Route Using Ant Algorithm Method and LeadTime Approach: Case Study of Toko Gamis Murah Jakarta in 2014 showsan imperfect route selection, especially the one which is randomly conducted, leading to the chance of output route to be selected is once in a cycle. This causes the iteration conductedtosearch the shortest route will take a longer time. The purpose of this study is to modify the algorithm for finding the shortest route by inserting the Fuzzy C-Means Algorithm into node selection probability of the ant algorithm to allow the route chosen during the cycle to continuouslyperform that iteration conducted in the shortest route searching calculation is not too long because the route value convergence is more quickly obtained. This research collects qualitative data from goods delivery route to Toko Gamis Murah Jakarta's customers, with the result showing CGFEDBA route (32.5 km) with 100% probability, DFEGCBA (34.6 km) with 93. 75% probability and FGEDCBA (37.5 km) with 93.75% probability.

Abstract

The Job comfort in a work is a factor having a decisive influence onthe increase of efficiency and effectiveness of work in which the equipment and technology aresome of supporting facilities in improving the productivity of work in a company. Besides inputting data into computers, user operators in PT.MI seat material division also make RF (Receiving Form), receive goods, put goods and make the settings in the material warehouse, bringing about negative effects such as work accidents and occupational diseases. Based on observations and questionnaires distributed to computer warehouse operators, there are some problems creatinguncomfortable and unnatural working condition that lead to less optimal work productivity. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the work station design by considering human and machine factors. It is then anticipated by making an adjustment between worker, work process and work environment. It is an approach known as ergonomics. Despite its importance to the workers, the company often puts aside the ergonomics aspects for its workers. Working condition not paying attention to the job comfort, satisfaction, safety and health will certainly affect the work productivity. The new design is made by changing the condition of the workplace. The analysis results show the new working condition is better than that of before the redesigning, as seenin the size of work facilities adapted to anthropometry, the procurement of work chairs, desks and ergonomic computers, the decrease of the level of pain complaints at work, the average energy consumptionthat has been smaller after the redesigning. It is expected that workers can feel safe and comfortable and improve their productivity efficiently and effectively.
