Abstract

SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok is a secondary educational institution situated in the village of Situmba, Sipirok District, under the South Tapanuli Regency. This study aimed to assess the impact of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok Sipirok. This research is classified as associative research. The research population consisted of all employees at SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok Sipirok. The study has a sample size of 32 respondents. The data gathering methods employed in this study encompassed the use of questionnaires and interviews. The study demonstrated that both emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence had a partially good and significant impact on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok Sipirok. The equation Y = -21,542 + 0.302 X1 + 0.199 X2 + e, derived from multiple linear regression analysis, indicates a positive and unidirectional association between the variable X and the variable Y. The Adjusted R Square (R2) value of 62% indicates that the combined influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on teacher performance at SMP Negei 5 Sipirok is 62%. The remaining 38% is attributed to other variables not considered in this study model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the processing industry to efforts to reduce poverty in North Sumatra Province, analyze the influence of the number of industries, investment, exports on industrial GDP and the number of population, unemployment on the poverty rate. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series data, 2009-2023, namely data on the number of industries, PMDN investment in the processing industry, Industrial Exports, the number of population, unemployment, Industrial GDP, and poverty in North Sumatra province. The analysis method used is simultaneous regression. The results of the study show that the influence of the number of industries has an impact on the increase in industrial GDP, and the number of population also has an impact on the increase in poverty, then the industrial GDP does not have a significant impact on poverty in North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

In today's Digital Era, a financial report can be prepared using an android-based financial application by utilizing an android smartphone which will make it easier for MSME actors in Pari Serdang Bedagai City Village to see and enter transactions in the form of purchases-sales, debts-receivables, payment of operational expenses and others. This system makes it easier for MSME actors in Kota Pari Serdang Bedagai Village to find out business developments effectively and efficiently so that in the future it can be used as access to capital to formal financial institutions so that they can strengthen the economy in moving the wheels of the economy. The purpose of this study is to find out the process of implementing and developing a simple android-based financial application as a medium in compiling financial reports for MSMEs in Pari Serdang Bedagai City Village. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The data analysis techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study were obtained that in the financial recording of MSMEs in the area in the village of Pari Serdang Bedagai City, they have not used android-based financial applications, they still use simple and manual recording. Their obstacle is the lack of knowledge about android-based financial applications in compiling financial reports due to the level of education and lack of socialization. From the results of research and discussion, it is known that the level of education in the IT field affects the application and development of android-based financial applications in compiling financial reports.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the liquidity ratio, profitability ratio and solvency ratio as a tool in measuring financial performance at Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk for the period 2018-2022. The research method used is financial ratio analysis with a focus on Current Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), return on asset (ROA) ratio, operating expenses to operating income (BOPO), CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) and DER Ratio (Debt to Equity Ratio). Overall the results showed that the financial performance of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk was classified as healthy in terms of liquidity and solvency. However, the profitability of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk still needs improvement.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of return on equity, earnings per share, debt to equity ratio, inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate both partially and simultaneously on stock value in the Restaurant, Hotel, and Tourism Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The population of this research consisted of 35 companies, with a sample of 26 companies. The analysis technique used panel data regression with the Eviews 9.0 application. The regression model used was the Random Effect Model (REM). The data used were from the first to the fourth quarter of 2020 to 2021 and the first quarter of 2022. The results of the research showed that only the earnings per share variable had a partially positive and significant effect on the stock value of the Restaurant, Hotel, and Tourism Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Meanwhile, the variables of return on equity, debt to equity ratio, inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate did not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, all variables of return on equity, earnings per share, debt to equity ratio, inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate had a positive and significant effect on stock prices. The variables of return on equity, earnings per share, debt to equity ratio, inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate contributed only 8.97% to the formation of stock prices and had a weak relationship with stock prices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of three main factors, namely the competence of village officials, village organizational culture, and village head leadership on the level of community satisfaction in Kwala Serapuh Village, Langkat. The first factor studied is the level of competence of village officials. This includes their ability to carry out administrative tasks, knowledge of village regulations, and the ability to communicate with the community. This research will identify the extent to which the competence of village officials affects the community's perception of village services and performance. The village organizational culture includes the norms, values, and practices that govern the interaction between village officials and their relationship with the community. The number of samples in this study was 100 respondents. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. The results of the study show that the Competence of Village Apparatus has a significant positive effect on Community Satisfaction. Organizational Culture has no positive and insignificant effect on Community Satisfaction. The leadership of the Village Head does not have a significant positive effect on Community Satisfaction. Meanwhile, simultaneously the Competence of the Village Apparatus, the Organizational Culture and the Leadership of the Village Head together have a significant positive effect on Community Satisfaction. The contribution of the magnitude of influence is 52.6%.
