Abstract

d'Dhave hotel established on October 9, 2010 is located at Jl. No. 1v Purus. 12 A Padang. d'Dhave hotel has been doing media promotion through brochures, business cards, letterheads and social media such as facebook. after seeing a media campaign in the form of a brochure which is owned by the hotel d'Dhave the authors are interested in me re-design before brochure because they lack the full information contained in this brochure required by consumers.The purpose of the design to give inform the target audience about the existence d'Dhave hotels, facilities, services, etc., and designing the good medium that is easy to understand and be understood by the target audience.the method analysis Data used in which the usefulness of SWOT analysis SWOT analysis is to observe and analyze the extent to which strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist in the company.The results achieved are designing a good media campaign and effectively so that the message can be understood by the target audience, as well as informing about the existence d'Dhave hotels so that the target audience can use the services offered by the hotelKeywords: Design, Promotion, d'Dhave Hotel, Brochure

Abstract

Vocational high school (SMK) is a form of alternative education. School is SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang top schools that can directly work, concept school SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang is giving a special skill for each student depending majors, where each lesson is taught in detail from all the subjects thoroughly. Later SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang can pass the best graduates can directly work in their respective fields, are also concerned about the development of science which continues to grow rapidly. However, at present little is known about the advantages of vocational schools SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang because the promotion is done in less effective.Therefore, to introduce and promote schools SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang, needed a new design promotional media for vocational schools SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang, that will aim to introduce schools SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang this can be achieved to the target audience. For the design process begins with data collection, observation, interview and documentation. So the problems that occur in the promotion of vocational schools SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang can be seen, from the identification of the problem analyzed by using the theory of SWOT (strength or strength, weakness or weakness, opportunity or opportunities, threat or threats), with the understanding the entire information in a case .So the selection of more effective media campaign and the message to be conveyed to the target audience can be right on target. The design resulted in major media in the form of graphic media (booklets) which show how the state vocational schools SMK KARTIKA 1-1 Padang. The main promotional media features supporting media such as, billboards, banners, mini x-banners, posters, flyers, design clothing practice, member cards, brochures, ambush media (sticker blasting) and pin.Keywords : Kartika 1-1 SMK Padang, promotion, graphic media (booklets)

Abstract

Mesin hujan is a developing distro in Padang. Mesin hujan is locatied inJln. Damar 30B it has been established by 3 youth, Arif , Rizky and Fadli. They develop this factory since November 2012. Mesin hujan has philosophy meaning that mesin represent modern life and hujan represent sastra symbol. Hujan also can be the media to create romantism. From the romantism situation the owner of mesin hujan can create creative idea to make some poetry in order to put them in their cloth. In this occasion Mesin Hujan has their own characteristic in selling tshirt by putting some “puitis” word. For those reason Mesin Hujan need the media to extend the promotion , it need to refresh the media of promotion in shape of Audio Visual, in order the aim to streng then the promotion deliver to targetaudience.In process of creating it start from collection the data, observation, interview and documentation. Identification of problems is using SWOT analysis (Sterngth, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) in order the problem of promoting Mesin Hujan can be found, analysis SWOT is using for evaluating and reevaluating a problem that have been decided before to minimize the risk that will be faced.The result of the design ia Audio Visual media that is packaged in DVDand MOV format to be uploaded to internet which is performing Audio Visual Mesin Hujan Padang. Audio Visual is using visualization about product tata ruang Mesin Hujan Padang and it is completed by music. The prime media of promotion is completing the supporting media such us, CD cover, Cd label, poster, sticker, pin, key chain, x-banner, member card.Keywords : Audio Visual, Mesin Hujan, Promotion

Global warming, where’s the temperature of the earth are extremely raising due to the emitions of human activity, is destroy the structure of the atmosphere. There for global warming should see as a serious problem, because it deals with human life. Nowaday people could get information with very easy and fast trough internet, smartphone or any othercommunication tool. Abstract

Toko Grand Central is a clothing store that sells clothes from children to adult clothing, located at Bukittinggi. Grand Central store was established on 11 July 2012. The store founded by Hj. Eli Hartati. Located at Jln. ST. Syahrir 34 Tarok Dipo Bukittinggi. Since Toko Grand Central stands, campaign carried out only through flyers and word of mouth. That is way the design of web interface design Toko Grand Central Bukittinggi made.he purpose of this design is to inform the target audience about Toko Grand Central, so it can be recognized by the public, especially Bukittinggi’s people.The method of data analysis in the design used SWOT analysis which analyzes the advantages, weaknesses opportunities and threats that exist in Toko Grand Central.The result achieved is to design a media campaign that is easy to understand and be understood by the target audience, so that the message can be conveyed to the target audience and the target audience chose Toko Grand Central to shop..Keywords: Web Design, Promotion, Toko Grand Central.

Abstract

Tradisional snacks in one component in everyday in life. Not only bacause of tradisional snackstaste good or unique color and appearance, but also because the tradisional snacks are valuable ancestral cultural heritage deriveed from earlier ancestors. But today’s current society has lost of modern snacks modern, then ignored tradisional snacks.The design of this book aims to remind the public to the importance of the existing tradisional hawker markets, necessitating, a variety of recipe books snacks that can assist in making tradisional snacks of processed foods, so the quality is safe and secure.Based on the results of various design book of tradisional recipes snacks can be a concern for people, especially those who have forgotten the kinds of snacks, so that with the book design of various recipes of tradisional snacks can make the community will get to know more of the snacks about their own tradisional snacks.Keyword: Design, Various Recipe Books Snacks, Padang City

Cv.Ayah is a transportation company who has a lot of the bus operates but only just. Cv.Ayah is a pioneer in a bus for routes payakumbuh-padang patas.Cv. Ayah never have promotion and just rely on a board a brand that being in each the counter, because it is to the media through a booklet. Abstract

The emphasis of this design directed for culinary products of Es Durian at pondok. The development of Es Durian leads business competition for consumer attention at pondok. The issue of es durian brand Ganti Nan Lamo opposite with Es durian Iko Gantinyo turns out to have the same effort. Though, the pioneer of Es durian is Es durian Ganti Nan Lamo.The main goal of design that is to inform and to communicate the promotion of Es durian Ganti Nan Lamo for consumer through Visual Communication Design which are effective and efficient so that it can fulfill consumer need. Media supporters are designed to enhance society awareness towards Es durian Ganti Nan Lamo. In factors identification that happens in internal and external, the author uses 5W+1H method to approach better parameter with brainstorming as analysis basic.Through the promotion design Es durian Ganti Nan Lamo by newspaper, it can raise the sales and society will know the existence of Es durian Ganti Nan Lamo.Keywords: Design, Promotion, Newspaper.

Abstract

Distro Coral Girls is one of the distributions that are new in town week. These distributions have been established since 2003 At the beginning of this distribution named SK8 and in 2006 changed to Coral who the target audience is men and since 2011 distributions Coral changed its name to Coral Girls who the target audience is also changed into a woman. Address distributions Coral Girls in Jln. Kaharudin Nasution No. 142 and 143, Marpoyan, Pekanbaru. After changing the name and the target aundience, Coral Girls distributions have not been doing a special promotion. Promotion is done only by fuel and by word of mouth.From these two distributions made Coral Girls design promotion through media websites. The website is a place or location in the Internet network created by companies, organizations or individuals and can be visited by anyone. Website chosen as the main medium for technology and information today is so readily available.Design method used is the SWOT analysis. The advantages of this website is the media have access to a wide range of media that never cease operations, the visual display is interactive and engaging. The weakness of this medium, to be able to access the website should have an internet connection and a device and a slow loading process.The era of technology and information is now easily encountered and used, so it can be used for the promotion of distributions Coral Girls in a web form. Abstract

Number santriwan and satriwati applying to Islamic Boarding Buya Hamka is not optimal. One of the suspected causes for lack of knowing where Buya Hamka Boarding Schools. Previous boarding school has never pass up promotions. Boarding School Buya Hamka Maninjau West Sumatra need a media campaign as an increase to be more known by people outside of West Sumatra with the hope of increasing the number of students enrolling at boarding school Buya Hamka Maninjau West Sumatra.Data analysis method used is the method of analysis 5W +1 H The purpose of this final report, is to provide information about boarding Buya Hamka Maninjau West Sumatra. Booklet is selected as the primary because more communicative and representative as a promotional media.
