Abstract

Putri Minang shopping center is one of the local craft shopping center Minangkabau are in Koto Tuo Tanah Datar. Founded in 1995 by Mr. H. Edi Yuswir, BSc, is a shopping center located on the highway Padang-Bukittinggi Km length. 5. Named Putri Minang with background embroidery crafts and crafts made by local girls Minangkabau. Promotion ever conducted only through travel agents. Promotion through the travel agent for this less reach the target audience, therefore they invented design promotional shopping center Putri Minang through the media website with the aim of promoting and introducing a shopping center that provides craft Minangkabau, because the web can reach the whole world, thereby limiting effect in an effort to achieve a purpose. Designing web design as a major media campaign Putri Minang shopping center, then through media support, the necessary data analysis through 5W + 1H. Abstract

Sweettooth cafe is one of cafe in Padang. It was built on 31st September 2013 at Veteran street no. 74 F Padang. It is led by Dea Arnoli. Since it is built, sweettooth cafe uses social media and radio promotion. The needs of Sweettooth cafe now is how to make the consumen loyal.To achive that needs, the design of visual branding Sweettooth cafe trough shelf TV is made. Shelf TV is TV that’s is hang in shelf, it can be found in supermarket, café , airport. Shelf TV shows repeated video about a product. Because of that, shelf TV is used as the main media for branding Sweettooth cafe, the purpose is to increase consuments loyalty toward cafe and to gain Sweettooth cafe image. This design is supported by handbook, loyalty card, pin, cup, bookmark, CD cover, CD label, list of menu, sticker, and ID card.SWOT analysist is used as design method. SWOT is superiority, lack, chance, and risk in accompany. The power of Sweettooth cafe is combining cake and coffee. Abstract

Basapa is a year tradition in visiting a sacred place likely Syekh Burhanuddin in Ulakan, Padang Pariaman which is celebrated on Syafar 10th. Syekh Burhanuddin was known as disseminator of Tarekat Syattariah and Islam in Minangkabau. Syekh Burhanuddin passed away on Syafar 10th, 1111 H/1691 M. Demise of late Syekh Burhanuddin was on Syafar, so the ritual is known as basapa.The lack of inhabitants knowledge and promotion media about basapa is the main factor of the writer for creating the documentary film in order to promote pilgrimage tourism basapa. The pilgrimage tourism basapa which is promoted in documentary film is for making easy to the people to know more about basapa tradition and conversing the value. Besides documentary film, this promotion is also supported the others media, such as clothes, calendar, banner, stickers, clocks, pins, key rings, CD covers, CD labels, and mugs.The methodology is 5W+1H analysis, what, who, when, where, why, and how. By applying this theory, all of aspects have been covered about basapa and created in documentary film, so that it can be a medium that has effective and communicative factual information.Key words: documentary film, pilgrimage tourism, basapa.

Abstract

This thesis aims to produce a design that is attractive about the book Psychology of Color in Visual Communication media written by Muzni Ramanto. The design method used by the authors is the beginning of the data collection method is through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Then proceed with the data analysis method using 5W +1 H analysis (what, where, when, who, why, and how) and creative approach. In this design the author will display the layout, cover, typography, and color in accordance with the contents of the book by using the software Corelldraw kalaborasi Grapics Suite X4 and Photoshop CS4. In addition, there are also test conducted on the design of consumer products Colour Design this book.Keywords: Design, Psychology, Book

Abstract

Substance Boardriding Store is a surf or skate shop is addressed at Pondok No. 1 Padang. Promotion conducted by the Substance boardriding store does not reach the target, resulting in a gap of the target audience. During Substance boardriding Store only do promotion through facebook. According to the Substance Boarding store owner, they have not done such a good promotion or interesting as still puzzled by the selection of a media campaign that will be conducted. This is because the target audience is expected by the Substance boardriding store is the target audience who have the courage and ability were high because this sport is quite extreme.Needed a solution to solving the problem, in order to help the Substance boardriding Store in promoting young children's presence in the middle of the city of Padang in particular, the authors try to design a media campaign Substance boardriding Store through audio-visual media in which the output or result of a video anniversary promotion.Therefore, to introduce and expand the range of promotion, which required the design of a new media campaign for Sustance boardriding Store Champaign shaped promotional video, that will aim to introduce Sustance boardriding Store Padang reached the target audience. For the design process starts with data collection, observation, interview and documentation. So the problems that occur in the promotion of Substance boardriding store can be known, from the identification of the problem, by using SWOT analysis.The design resulted in major media in the form of audio-visual packaged in a promotional video featuring impressions Substance boardriding store information Padang. Audio visual promotional use visualization scenes containing about produkdan facility in Padang Substance boardriding store. The main promotional media features supporting media such as CD covers, CD labels, posters, stickers, id cards, pin, card members, and the x-banners.Keyword: Audio Visual Media, promotion, Subsatance boardriding Store Padang, Through Audio Visual Media.
