Abstract

Advertising media and supporting media like video clip are really needed in to a successful indie group bands as BIG BROADSIDE, that promotes song of them to the community so that they can be major label band, and be able to enter the world a recording. Hence, designers a creative must be sensitive to on changes in trend in effect in society and have to find a new innovation. The development of the digital world make the community become get used to things modern and there must be learned the gaps.Design media promotion video clip band BIG BROADSIDE a that they used analysis training. Abstract

Toga Dance is a scarce traditional art from Dhamasraya Kingdom whichcentered in Siguntur Dhamasraya Regency. However, the existence of this scarce traditional art still has not been known yet. It is important to know what Toga Dance is and its history in Dhamasraya Kingdom. A documentary movie is one of some effective medias because the information conveyed through the documentary movie is more interesting on getting audience target’s attention. The designing of this documentary movie is aimed to campaign a Toga Dance and Dhamasraya Kingdom, by using an expository approach which conveying information by explaining facts combining with pictures. The methodology used is opposite to some literatures, and it uses 5W+1H method by understanding all information on a case. So the choosing of campaign mediais more effective and the messages which are delivered can be understood by the audience target.The movie begins by showing a picture of Indonesian map, then a briefexplanations about Dhamasraya Kingdom, the origin of Toga Dance, thepresentation of Toga Dance, and last is the elements of Toga Dance. Instead of documentary movie, this campaign is accompanied by supporting medias such as calendar, banner, poster, T-shirt, CD label, CD cover, key chains, and thriller which aimed to strengthen the main media.Keywords: Campaign Media, Toga Dance, Documentary Movie

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of tours, especially the wealth of natural attractions. Nowadays, the tourism sector as economic activity has become a mainstay and a priority for the development of every region in Indonesia. Lima Puluh Kota regency have quite diverse natural resources such as lakes, rivers, waterfalls, canyons, forests and so on. Natural potential that is the income for the inhabitants and government of Lima Puluh Kota regency. But there are still many natural resources in Lima Puluh Kota regency that have potential but have not run into attractions such as Lubuak Batu Bulan Kubang Balambak waterfalls, Sialang Indah Situjuh waterfalls and Lokuak Singkuang Halaban waterfalls. Seeing these conditions, designers interested in creating a draft promotional videos and media traveling supporters natural tourist potential in the Lima Puluh Kota regency.Keywords : Promotion, tourism, video traveling

Abstract

Filia Busana is a home-based boutique that sells a variety of womensclothing, a specially teenagers shoes. Filia Busanas products offered can be said in terms of price and in terms of quality luxury. But in reality, not many people are coming to Filia Clothing for shopping. This is due not many people in Solok as consumers aware of the existence of Filia Busana for newly established on March 18, 2014. As a new company that is relatively small and do not yet have a company logo, moreover signpost yet have a name, would be very difficult for Filia Busana to expand its business. Therefore, Filia Busana is in need of a logo company that serves as a symbol of a differentiator with other companies. Designed logo applied to the various media support such as neon box, xbanner, shopping bags, calendars, note book, price tags, pins, and stickers. Analyze methods used in the data, the authors use the theory of Harold Laswell "Who, says what, to Whom, to the which channel, and with what effect". By knowing the answers to these questions then obtained a logo design that is truly qualified.Keyword: Filia Busana, Logo

Abstract

The globalization that causes changes in various parts of the world have an impact on the social and cultural values in society. One of them is deviant behavior LGBT. LGBT is the phenomenon of sexual deviation that occurs in the middle of a society that is now growing quite rapidly until well into the realm of social, cultural, political, health education and so on. From this, it made a design ILM, to address the prevention of dissemination of this deviant behavior by using motion graphic media. This media is made in the duration of 56 seconds and is considered more effective in addition supported by the display form of pictures / illustrations, video, animation and audio that can directly be understood by the target audience. This work is also flexible to be aired on television, self tv, youtube, internet etc. Design method used is 5W 1H, the method used to answer questions, WHO (who), says what (say what), to Whom (to whom), why, when and How (How).Kata kunci : Motion Graphic, LGBT, Iklan Layanan Masyarakat.

Abstract

Daima Cultural Garden Restaurant is a restaurant in West Sumatra, especially in the city of desert that was established in 2005, which has a garden concept. Daima Cultural Garden Restaurant, located at Jl. Azizi No. 122 Sandalwood Complex Polamas Andalas Padang, West Sumatra, which was led by Mr. Doni Herlambang as the head of the Operational Manager Restaurant. From the start of the restaurant stood, a new campaign conducted through brochures, but still many people do not know it existed.Television is one of the effective medium, as in the delivery of informationthrough television ads more easily attract the attention of the target audience. The aim of the design is a television ad to promote a product, which is made in the form of video images and audio are equipped with television ads selected as the primary medium for this kind of information and technology is so easy to digest and is found by the target audience.Design method used is the SWOT analysis, the advantages of DaimaCultural Garden Restaurant is where the only restaurant that uses the concept of outdoor garden gazebo that is not boring that directly comes with a fishing pond.In this era of technology and information that have been developed at thistime can be used as a promotional media Daima Cultural Garden Restaurant in the form of TV ads, in addition to the TV ad campaign as the main medium is equipped with media support, among others, Clothes, Books Menu, Pin, CD Labels, CD Cover, Flag Chain, Plate, Number table and X-Banner.Keyword: Television, Promotion, Daima Cultural Garden Restaurant

Abstract

“Kerupuk Talas Dua Putra" is one of the culinary delights that exist in the Nagari Aia Tabik, Kecamatan Baso, Agam, established in 2005 with owner is Rina Rimanti. The weakness of this product are on the packaging wrapped in clear plastic, packaging is less attractive to consumers because of the impression of the ordinary.The design of this package consists of a box, plastic, and cardboard. Layout product logos, illustrations “Kerupuk Talas Dua Putra" with the headline "Nan sabana Rapuah", the tagline "cemilan Khas Sumatera Barat" will reinforce the view and information about the product packaging delivered invitation.Proper design method is the SWOT analysis for the redesign existing packaging design, with a balance of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that a comparison between the new designs, old designs and products of competitors. Packaging design as a means of communication can be interpreted that the packaging design not only as a wrap or cover an item or group of items, but provide information that is clear andcomplete for the content or the content of a product, ideally when thepackaging design is able to provide information to consumers valuewill better to avoid consumer confusion.Keywords: Design, Packaging, Kerupuk Talas

Abstract

Caredek Hotel merupakan salah satu hotel yang ada di kota solok yangberlokasikan di jalan Dt. Perpatih Nan Sebatang (Air Mati) Kota Solok, Sumatera Barat. Caredek Hotel didirikan pada tanggal 29 November 1986, dan dipimpin oleh bapak H. Adjis Mi’in. Selama hotel didirikan, belum pernah dipromosikan dalam bentuk media apapun.Untuk itu, maka dibuatlah perancangan promosi Caredek Hotel di kotaSolok melalui media iklan televisi. Iklan televisi merupakan, sebuah media untuk mempromosikan suatu produk, dibuat berupa video yang berdurasi 30 detik dan di tambah dengan gambar dan audio dilengkapi dengan pesan yang singkat dan tepat. Iklan televisi dipilih sebagai media utama karena teknologi dan informasi seperti ini begitu mudah ditemukan.Berdasarkan dari data yang diperoleh mengenai Caredek Hotel, yangmenjadi kekuatan dari hotel ini adalah lokasi hotelnya yang strategis karena berada diantara pusat kota dan pusat perbelanjaan kota Solok. Namun ada beberapa kelemahan pada perusahaan Caredek Hotel yaitu dari segi Room Rate (tarif kamar), harganya tidak sebanding dengan hotelnya karena hotel ini merupakan hotel kelas melati, jadi masih ada hotel kelas melati lainnya yang lebih murah sehingga menjadi ancaman bagi Caredek Hotel. Yang menjadi peluang dari perusahaan Caredek Hotel ini adalah dari segi fasilitasnya yang lengkap dengan disediakannya ruang kamar khusus keluarga, pelayananannya yang ramah dan memuaskan terasa seperti di rumah sendiri serta disediakan fasilitas ruang rapat bagi para tamu yang sedang melakukan perjalanan bisnis keluar kota.Pada zaman kini, teknologi dan informasi sangat mudah ditemui sehinggadapat dimanfaatkan untuk promosi Caredek Hotel dalam bentuk iklan televisi. Didukung oleh media lain yaitu Poster, X-Banner, Kotak CD, Label CD, Kartu Nama, Mug, Handbook, Kalender, Handuk, Kemeja.Kata kunci : Promosi, Iklan Televisi, Video, Caredek Hotel.

Abstract

Distro Brother's Home is a distro which is located in the city of Padang. Distributions Brother's Home is located at Jalan By Pass Km 8 Kabun Kataping Padang. Inaugurated on October 8th, 2013 by Yonel Hasbi. The absence of Corporate Identity that can represent fully the vision and mission to shape the image to the presence of distributions Brother's Home is very influential in the competition, therefore the owners want to make Corporate Identity attractive and can represent fully the vision and mission to shape the image to the existence of distro Brother's Home, in addition to the corporate identity distributions Brother's Home will be made to have and charged meaning that represent Brother's Home in order to attract costumers to be able to visit the distributions Brother's Home, and can distinguish the distributions Brother's Home with other distributions in Padang city.Designing corporate identity as a major promotional media distributions Brother's Home, then through the media support, the necessary data analysis through SWOT. Abstract

The purpose of the design Wedding Ceremony Wedding Magazine Minangkabau in the city of Padang is to determine the design of Minangkabau Wedding Magazine Wedding Ceremony in the City. Methods of data collection in the design of this thesis is to field observations, interviews, and sources of data and information from print media to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results showed that the design elements used in the mainstream media covers images, text, and narration refers to the concept of verbal and visual concepts. Application layout or layout of the major media and supporting media refers to the principles of design elements desaian in order to get good results. Thus the design Wedding Magazine. Traditional wedding in the city of Padang Minangkabau visualization of images in the media and its supporting media can promote the procedures for Wedding Ceremony in the city of Padang Minangkabau of West Sumatra.Kata Kunci : Perancangan, Wedding Magazine
