Abstract

Padangsidimpuan is a town in the province of North Sumatra that geographically surrounded by South Tapanuli. Padangsidimpuan as a city which uphold the cultural values is less well known of Indonesian society because the lack of city promotion by the government. Therefore, the authors was designing the visual branding that summarized in the manual book and than become a guideline for the government to apply to the various media.The design of the visual branding logo is taken from the form of fruits and leaves are typical of the city of Padangsidimpuan. Then use motifs that have been adapted to the character Padangsidimpuan City. As well as the use of the concept and philosophy of culture, color and script entirely serve as the idea of designing a logo that also have headline and tagline Salumpat Saindege who also became the motto of the City Padangsidimpuan.The main design is the logo, tagline and icons. The main media used in the design of visual branding Padangsidimpuan City is manual book. Then the supporting media them wallpaper Padangsidimpuan City buses, totebag, mugs, calendars, T-shirts, flag chain, posters, stickers, key chains, and umbrella.Key Words : Visual Branding, Padangsidimpuan, Media

Abstract

Substance Boardriding store a surf or skate shop there a Padang city. Originated from some fellow surfing in Parkit Padang beach. Aroud a1999 this name Maniak Boardrider that giving idea to open a Surf Shop. Because began hectic a surfer foreign thet come to Mentawai for traveled surfing, but his little facility avaiable at the time.Finaly realized the idea to open a store in september 2001 untilizing the former movie theater lobby in picturesque into a small shop the name Substance which initialy only sell some clothing only from Quiksilver, Volcom and West SurfingProducts. All this time Substance Boardriding store only promotion through a facebook and twitter.Of it then make the design promotion Substance Boardriding store through media web design.Media web design is very good promotion in this business, Ass seen from the habits of the people are now dependent on cyberspace.Design method in use is analysis 5W+1H. Advantage of web media design, Design in this promotion faster conveyed and also more clear by looking at the components in web design. web design also more colorful and interristing to see making it more attractive market or consumers.The era of tecnology and information is now easily encountered paswoowod use, so it can be useed for promotional Substance Boardriding store in the form of web design. Abstract

Café "Rumah Bako" is one of the culinary is mountain Payakumbuh ie youngest mountain. Founded in 2012 by Mr. Andika Ari Andhyka, café "Rumah Bako" is located at Jorong Talago, Nagari Taeh Bukik, Sub Payakumbuh. With mountains in the background a cool and treated to views of the city Payakumbuh of the youngest mountain heights. Promotion ever done only through one of the print media in the city of Padang with installation logo on the advertising page. Promotion done through the print media is not giving effect seknifikan to the café "Rumah Bako" therefore made designing company profile through media websites with the aim of promoting and introducing café "Rumah Bako" which has the advantage with a location in the mountains, because the website can reach all people and in this digital age it is easier to provide information that affects its utilization in order to achieve a goal. The design of the website as the main promotional media café "Rumah Bako", supported by the media support: t-shirts, aprons, calendars, mugs, cards, stickers, keychains, CD cover and CD label. The data analysis was supported by the SWOT method. Abstract

Effort "Kopi Beringin" is one of the coffee powder products in Nagari Alahan Panjang, District Lembah Gumanti, Kab. Solok, established in 1985 under the leadership of Zulfa Hendra. Weakness of these products contained in the package wrapped in clear plastic, packaging as it can not compete in the market. The author aims to design packaging design Kopi Beringin order to compete in the market, especially in young people.The design of the packaging is shaped sheath, made from calico cloth, string ties as a binder cover, hanger tape as product information. Layout product logos, illustrations effort "Kopi Beringin" with the concept of urban art that aims to attract the attention of young people to buy their products and provide headline "Fragrant and Delicious", the tagline "100% Genuine Coffee" will reinforce the views and information about the product delivered invitation packing.Packaging design as a communication tool can be interpreted that the packaging design not only as a wrap or cover an item or group of items, but provide information that is clear and complete for the content or the content of a product, ideally when the packaging design is able to provide information to consumers value will it is better to avoid consumer confusion.Proper design method is the SWOT analysis as in the design of the writer redesigning existing packaging designs, with a balance of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that a comparison between the new designs, old designs and competitors products.Keywords: Design packaging, Kopi Beringin, Urban Art

Abstract

Sawahlunto is a small town in West Sumatera Indonesia. This town has 27.345 Ha an area and 65.787 soul population. This town borders in Eastern part of Sijunjung regency. Sawahlunto is led Mr. Ali Yusuf S.Pt as a mayor of Sawahlunto until 2018 later. At this time , the Sawahlunto town evolves to be unique multi old tourism town until it has been one of the best old town in Indonesia. As along of development Sawahlunto tour, the promotion activity of Sawahlunto tour is limited because it only by local radio and print media advertisement.Website is one of most popular media advertisement at this time. It has the range of space and time is not limited. The specific strategies appropriately is required to get website as effective media in promotion until the promotion website has been success. Sawahlunto has had tourism attraction by it self. But the good design and visual communication principle has not been reached by it. There for, redesign tourism attraction of Sawahlunto is made by purpose to promote and present Sawahlunto town more broadly.The redesign of website as the first adversting media of Sawahlunto town. The by way of supporting media that data of analysis is required through the SWOT analysis. This method is required to strength the and complete the project.

Abstract

Sawahlunto is a small town located in the province of West Sumatra which has an area of 27344.7 ha. Discovered in 1868 and became a city that has the administration in 1918. Sawahlunto is the only tourism -oriented town on mining.The city is nicknamed the Black Pearl and the town cauldron because of the topography that resembles a frying pan. Sawahlunto as a tourism city does not have any visual branding. Visual branding is to create a brand to establish a positive image for the brand through sight (visual). For this reason underlyingthe visual design of this branding.Designing visual identity such as logo , tagline , and this icon was taken from the cauldron shape which is a nickname for the city Sawahlunto and adapted to the philosophies of Sawahlunto city. This design uses SWOT analysis method to find the weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats Sawahlunto city as well as a differentiating factor with competitors city.Designing visual branding for Sawahlunto city is a logo, tagline, and icons that are applied to the main media billboard. Media support in the form of stickers, key chains, t-shirts, totebag, wayfinding, manual book, mug, pin, and watches.Kata Kunci : Visual branding, Sawahlunto, Logo, Billboard.

Abstract

Company lalito coffee trying to promoting the product expected can reach objective that is more broadly , but a promotion all this do only use the virtual world for example through twitter and instagram.Election television commercial is a media promotion an effective and efficient because it could show how performance and the layout lalito and give typical its own so that the public can get to know and understand lalito coffee , for the purpose of establishing media promotion related of the company lalito coffee with the approach based audio visual be a pleasant new to promote.In the design this television commercial in need primary and secondary data then the data that has been in learned in analysis using a method of training .Design produce mainstream media of television commercial lasts a minute thirty-two seconds in a dvd format showing impressions the atmosphere and process of making coffee. Television commercial use visualize scene promotion with about the procedure of making coffee .Media promotion main furnished media supporting among other posters , stickers , the calendar , guest comment , name card , x banner , menu , leaflets , flayer , catalog and cd label.Password: design , lalito coffee , television commercial .
