Abstract

Clothing Company is a term used for a company that produces apparel under the name of brand. first goods produced in the form of shirts, but as the development needs and customer demand, the product was expanded to pants, wallets, handbags and other accessories. Clothing Warehouse is one of the clothing company located in the city of Padang. Originated from the desire of the owners want to open a clothing company with the concept seriously but there is an element of cheerful finally materialized, the owner of the warehouse clothing is Farid Mohammed, clothing company was founded on January 20, 2015 which at that time was still hesitate to start this business because of lack of capital, but thanks to the support of family and friends this business was run. Because new clothing venture company, warehouse does not have a fixed promotional media, audio-visual equipment to facilitate the delivering and receiving materials, thoughts and messages as well as to avoid misunderstanding, and therefore the author makes a campaign for the warehouse by selecting the audio-visual media.Key word : Warehouse Clothing, Audio Visual.

Abstract

Sushi is one of the traditional food from Japan, made from rice and slices of fish meat. At the present time the meal can be found in the city of Padang, housed in GOR. H Agus Salim with outlets named is "KEDAI MIE RAMEN". Design Packaging Sushi Food "KEDAI MIE RAMEN" adapting elements from Japan with to confirm that the product is original food from Japan.Data analyst method used is SWOT for the author to redesign existing packaging designs to be consider, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that can increase the excellence of the product from competitors' products.The product requires a package which aims to wrap the food in order to avoid direct contact by the outside air, on the other hand the packaging also has a function as the identity of a product issued by businesses, through attractive packaging can be used as a media campaign to introduce a product to prospective customers.Keywords: Packaging Design, Product, Kedai Mie Ramen

Abstract

The Pondok Sepatu Samillo a local industry engaged in the production of sandals and shoes. Businesses that took place in the Veteran No. 3 Padang, is a family business passed down from generation to generation. Pondok Sepatu Samillo as well as other businesses, are still concerned with the benefits funsional course, has not been able to provide emotional benefits.It can be seen from different angles, ranging from the logo used not reflect the identity of Pondok Shoes Samillo, still have a lot in common with a similar business in the city of Padang. Not having a differentiator with other competing products. Products packaged or displayed sober, having no identity that can be recognized properly. Thus the visual identity Samillo cottage Shoes are not currently able to display the identity of the business, so do not have emotional value and yet provide emotional benefits for consumers. That requires Redesign Visual Identity Pondok Sepatu Samillo Padang.The analytical method used in the redesigned visual identity Pondok Sepatu Samillo, using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). This design includes designing a logo that identifies Pondok Sepatu Samillo and their application to identity guidelines, signage, stationary sets such as labels, business cards, letterheads, envelopes, notes, note pad, uniform, apron, post-it and stamp. As well as product packaging such as shoe boxes and shopping bags. Hopefully, by the redesigned visual identity Pondok Sepatu Samillo, it can provide the identity of the business, which could give the distinguishing characteristics or other business. Abstract

Baraka Kafe is a cafe that served drink in the form of whole milk and coffee. It also serves a variety of snacks like cake and bread. Baraka Kafe war formerly known as Susu Murni Kafe. Therefore, now it designed with visual identity and logo with color that has a typography to representing the concept of Baraka Kafe, and make it easyly to remembered by consumers. The logo will be placed in several media, so it would be a media for direct and indirect promotion as well.The analytical methods used in the design of visual identity Baraka Kafe is using the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analytical in used as a visual identity plan and design to highlight the characteristic to Baraka Kafe. The design of this visual identity includes the media: manual book, paper bas, cups and cup papper, poster, x-banner, handbook, aprons, T-shirts, pins and stickers. Hopefully, by the visual identity design can help increase brand royalties and gain brand awareness for the results of the design precisely targeted, effective and communicative so it may be better known by the public.Key Word: Visual Identity, Logo, Baraka.

Abstract

The company of Chokato chocolate in Kapalo Koto Urban Vilage. The packaging of Chokato’s chocolate is one of the chocolate producer in Payakumbuh, which is located in Kapalo Koto Urban Village, Aur Kuning, South Payakumbuh, Payakumbuh City. Established in 2006 and led by Mr. Joni Saputra.Design method is design of Chokato’s chocolate in Kapalo Koto constituted by chocolate packaging products Chokato in Kapalo Koto Urban Village which has a distintctive scent and flavor, and design brands that will be applied to the packaging. The data analysis method which is used is the SWOT analysis, because in this case the writer designning packaging that is based on the strength of products from chocolate company Chokato in the Urban village of Kapalo Koto and also with the consideration of weakness, opportunities and threats that a comparison between the packaging of chocolate Chokato Urban Village Kapalo Koto with competitors.The design of the brand and packaging concept taken from chocolate products Chokato Kapalo Koto Urban Village which has a distinctive scent and flavor and the brand is based on the concept of incorporation of the letters shaped cocoa fruit.The media support used in the design of Chokato’s chocolate in the Kapalo Koto Urban Village including cards, paper bag, stamp, sticker, clothes, g;asses, key chains and poster.Key Word : Design, Chocolate, Brand, Package

Abstract

Butterfly captivity garden in districts Harau is one of butterflygardens in West Sumatra. This captivity was founded and has been managed by Bujang Ranuli since 1997. The climate of Harau valley, which is cool, makes it has well-grown and varies butterfly. The increase number of forest logging and butterfly preservation to be made for souvenirs by people around endanger the butterfly that lives in this area. This absolutely makes some kinds of butterfly threatened and has not been documented yet. Lack of knowledge about butterfly makes souvenir manufacturers non-selectively chose butterfly by itskind to be processed as souvenir. Meanwhile, government’s attention and involvement in managing educational tour of butterfly are deficient still.The aim of this final work is to produce a catalog design whichdocumenting the kinds of butterfly live in Harau valley, knowledge about butterfly, butterfly conservation, and information about butterfly captivity garden in Harau valley. Thus, the design methodology used by the writer is started from collecting data method, which is through an observation, interviewing, and documenting study. Then, it is continued by data analysis method by using SWOT and creative approach. In this design, the writer will display the layout, cover, typography, and interesting colors with minimalist and naturalist image so that it is comfortable to read.The result is a media design that documenting the kinds ofbutterfly live in Harau valley, knowledge about butterfly, butterflyconservation, and information about butterfly captivity garden inHarau valley simply to be understandable by the audiences so that the message is well delivered.Keywords: butterfly, catalog, harau valley

Abstract

Android app is one way that is effective, efficient, and innovative media promotion. The rapid development of technology makes android be an option for the delivery of information easily by the target audience. Currently West Sumatra already widely known by tourists, but there are still a lot of tourists in finding a tourist site. That requires a media that provides location information of tourism in West Sumatra. This android app includes a way that could mempromsikan effective manner and efficiency. The purpose of this Minangkabau Raun Android design is easier for tourists to find the location of tourism in West Sumatra. Making it easier for travelers looking for any tourist destinations in West Sumatra.Methodology The approach used is the SWOT analysis to understand all the information on an issue. The analysis in the form of strategic planning is used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the design process. So the selection of more effective android application media and the message to be conveyed easily understood by the target audience.Applications Raun Minangkabau at the start with a choice of 5 main area of tourism in West Sumatra, then after selecting one of the city / county sites will appear several choices of tourist attractions in the city / county and, when the tourist attractions that we want we choose will appear gallery, tourist information and maps that function navigator directs the audience straight to the desired sites. In addition to Android applications, these media include media support such as watches, Tumbler, T-Shirt, Drawstring Bag, pillow, sticker, x-banner, poster which aims to strengthen the promotion of major media.Keyword: Android Apps, Raun Minangkabau, of tourism.

Abstract

Anak Hiu Clothing is a distribution outlet that was pioneered by the Boy Agung since 2008 has grown until now as the needs and interests of high society against one surf brand products. However, Anak Hiu Clothing do not have a fixed visual identity branding image and identity as a differentiator from competitors. Destination branding visual identity design Anak Hiu Clothing is to establish brand awareness and market segmentation in the community of the uniqueness and advantages through the process of branding visual identity.The analytical method used in the design of visual identity branding Anak Hiu Clothing approach SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The the idea development orientation of designing visual identity branding includes the main media in the form of logos and media support in the form of T-shirts, tote bags, sales invoices, hang tags, stamps, cards, stickers, pens and neon box. Abstract

Twin Lakes is located on the causeway Padang - Muara Labuh, namely lake above and below lake. This beautiful tourist attraction located in Nagari Alahan Panjang, people outside the region are still many who are unaware of what kind of tourism and travel Twin Lakes and did not know of the villa. Office pariwasata only promotion that is not optimal. Hopefully, by the design of this booklet media can help create the information to the public and make people aware of the tourism outside the Twin Lakes area in Alahan Panjang. From the survey results and observations writers interested in making a media campaign in order to become a guide informative booklet which could be material to broaden the collection.The method used in the design of the booklet is to approach the analysis of SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). Besides the main media simple booklet also explains the beauty and tourist information in Twin Lakes. In addition to major media booklet, is also supported by the supporting media, such as stickers, x banners, posters, shirts, mugs, brochures, calendars, and keychains which aims to promote tourism in Twin Lakes. Abstract

Supplements in the thinking of ordinary people regarded as a dangerous drug and is not consumed in the long term by the human body, but actually supplements are supporting or auxiliary fitness in their daily activities and exercise on the human body.Supplement can be used for media promotion in gym, but not all people know if supplement safe for consumed in the long term by the human body becaue less-information from media promotion how to use suppplement for body, certainly has related with sport or gym and based on there instructure.To make easy consumed to know information about gym and supplement, then the researcher has design tutorial catalog supplement and gym.Method of collecting data, the researcher need some process to start design tutorial catalog supplemenet and gym, there are two design, such as 1) main data (primer) are visual data with types and kinds of technique gym. 2) additional data (sekunder) are theory based on, books, internet and sources. Data analysa is used anlysa SWOT. This method need for stengthen and complete deseign of tutorial catalog supplement and gym.Result of design is catalog has size A4 and show model of fitnes with some various and types of supplement. Media support from tutorial catalog and gym are x-banner, poster, pin, sticker, t-shirt, calender and brocur. The researcher hope promotion of tutorial catalog and gym with catalog media can succsesful and can change negative perception about supplement.Key word: Catalog, Supplements, Gym, Fitness, Tutorial.
