Abstract

Semen Padang Hospital is one of the hospitals in the province of West Sumatra. Semen Padang Hospital is a private hospital class B, which is equipped with 161 beds inpatient facility. Area and building SPH fairly broad, often make it difficult for visitors to find out your location and the room was going. Sign system that has been used is not complete, no uniform or consistent and placement sign system that is not appropriate to make visitors often ignore existing sign system. It is therefore necessary sign system with the aim of supporting services in order to facilitate traffic for visitors to find the information and the way the rooms were dituju.`The process of collecting data by observation, documentation, and use the methods of data analysis 5W + 1H (what / what, who / whom, where / where, why / why, how / how).Based on this analysis, the peracangan made the sign system that is divided into four by function: (1) identification sign, (2) direction sign (3) information sign (4) regulatory sign. Media support used is the table name, name cards, id cards, stickers, stamps, a queue number, and a paper bag.Keywords: Semen Padang Hospital, Support Services, Sign System.

Abstract

Jabal Rahmah Mosque in Semen Padang is a mosque that has a lot of variations in Minangkabau and Arabic calligraphy carving. This empirical conditions raises two questions: “What is the name of the minangkabau and Arabic calligraphy carving in Jabal Rahmah Semen Padang Mosque” and “ Where is Minangkabau and Arabic calligraphy carvings placed in Jabal Rahman Semen Padang Mosque”. This study aims to identify the name and to describe the placement of the Minangkabau and Arabic Calligraphy Carving in Jabal Rahmah Semen Padang Mosque. The research Method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study finds that there are three kinds of Minangkabau Carving, those are (1) Kuciang Lalok (2) Tirai Bungo Intan, (3) Tupai Tatagun. This study also finds that there are two types of calligraphy on the mosque, those are Naskhi Khat and Tsulus Khat. The placement of the Carving and Calligraphy in this mosque cover many places of the mosque, The entrance of the Mosque, windows, ceilings, walls,liwan and mihrab of the mosque. Through this research the researcher expects that this research can be a positive contribution to the preservation of Indonesian culture to the next generation without losing local knowledge of local culture.Keywords: Mosque, Carving, Calligraphy, Minangkabau

Abstract

Goodwill Store merupakan salah satu store lokal produk yang beraliran skateboard dan surfing yang berada di kota Padang. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi yang dilakukan penulis pada Goodwill Store Padang ditemukan beberapa masalah seperti kurangnya media informasi dan promosi. Oleh karena itu penulis membuat sebuah rancangan media berbentuk website. Tujuan perancangan web ini dapat menjangkau seluruh dunia. Selain itu, melalui web informasi yang ingin disampaikan dapat diberikan secara rinci, lengkap, dan dapat memberikan tampilan yang lebih menarik.Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah metode kualitatif dengan mengadakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penulis mengadakan kunjungan dan melakukan pengamatan langsung ke Goodwill Store untuk mendapatkan data-data yang diperlukan yang terkait dengan perancangan. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan untuk menganalis data adalah analisis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threat). Kekuatan dalam perancangan web design Goodwill store (Strength), kelemahan rancangan ini (Weakness), peluang yang dapat dilihat (Opportunities), dan apa ancaman dari rancangan (Threats).Perancangan ini menghasilkan sebuah media utama berupa Website Media Informasi Goodwill Store, selain media utama juga dibuat media pendukung perancangan website Goodwill Store. Tujuannya adalah untuk membantu media utama dalam mempromosikan Goodwill Store padang yang dikemas dalam bentuk media cetak seperti : Poster, Stiker, Pin, Kartu Nama, Topi, Paper Bag, Mug, T- Shirt dan X-Banner.Berangkat dari hal tersebut penulis menghasilkan rancangan Web Design Goodwill Store Padang.Kata Kunci: Web Design, Perancangan, Desain Komunikasi Visual, Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Area Mandeh is one of the attractions that are in Pesisir Selatan regency. The existence of Area attractions Mandeh as supported by the beautiful scenery of the sea and a variety of rides such as snorkeling, banana boat, and the view is still beautiful. Area Mandeh known existence and beauty, but the lack of tourists whotravel to know the limits of Area Travel Mandeh so necessary in the form of a media information booklet to provide information about the limitations of the Tourism Area Mandeh.Booklet is one effective medium for delivering information through the Booklet easier and more interesting for the target audience. The purpose of this booklet is to provide information about the limitations of Tourism Mandeh, so that later became a media official in nature tourism area Pucak Mandeh.Methodology approach departs from the literature and using 5W + 1H to understand all the information in a problem. So the selection of media and information more effectively the message understood by the target audience.This booklet will give you visual beauty of the scenery and Tourism Mandeh path towards Mandeh Area Tourism and the travel costs that would be issued to all surrounding areas Travel Mandeh located in Pesisir Selatan regency Sematera West. Abstract

Langkisau hill is one of the known tourist with beautiful objects and provide places that could spoil the eye, but many people might not know about the existence, activities and the beauty of the hills Langkisau. Video is a creatively processed documentation which is one of the modern communications media by showing the incorporation of moving images and sound, so that the target audience can find out more information disampaikan.Target audience obviously expected to be moreinterested to keep coming to visit tourist attractions in West Sumatra, especially in the South Coast namely Pesona Alam Bukit Langkisau with their video views as its main media and supported by various supporting media. Methods of data analysis in the design of this method 5W1H. W consists of What (what), Who (who), Where (where), When (when), Why (why), and How (how). Major media in this thesis is the audio-visual form of video. Abstract

The purpose of identity Dadiah packaging design is to create identity Dadiah a new packaging without losing its traditional form (native). So that, it can be known by the public and to tourists who visit West Sumatra, commonly in Gaduik particular area, Bukittinggi with Dadiah new packaging design with modern form combined with traditional form.The design method begins with data collection, observation, interviews and documentation. So that, the problem occur in the packaging Dadiah promotion can be discovered from identify of that problem by conducting a SWOT analysis.The design is result major media like packaging that is packaged in a cardboard that displays visualization and information nutritional value of traditional food Dadiah. The main media is completed by supporting media which are poster, x-banners, T-shirts, flayers, business cards, key chains, stickers, tote bag and bamboo plastic covers.Keywords: design, Identity, promotion, packaging, Dadiah.

Abstract

The Happy Shop is a women's clothing store is devoted to themed casual clothing in the city of Padang, in line with the needs and interests of high society towards women's fashion in the city of Padang. However, The Happy Shop yet have a catalog in the media campaign and as a differentiator from competitors. Interest Design catalog as a complete media campaign regarding products The Happy Shop.The method of analysis used in the design catalog The Happy Shop approach SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The orientation of the development of design ideas include the identity of the major media and media support in the form of catalog of T-shirts, paper bag, cards, posters, pins, key chains, x-banner, sales invoices, stickers, hang tags. Abstract

One of the wealth natural resources on earth is the vast sea. One of them is Indonesia. Indonesia is maritime country which most of its territory is the sea. The sea is very influential in human life. Many benefits and purpose in the sea especially the organism in there particullary a fish. Fish are organism are has habitat on the water not only that, this animal also belong in the food chain of human because it has animal protein. Which has a lot of protein and nutrient, fatty acid, omega 3, vit D and B2, calcium, phosphor, minerals, zing, iodine, magnesium, and potassium are important for human growth.The purpose of this final work is to inform the benefits contained in the fish means of prints ad with the concept interesting and education to Print Ad “The Benefits of Eating Fish”. The author use design method ranging from collecting data through observation interview, and followed by using the method of data analysis using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Treatment). The next author began a creative design. In designing print ad the author displays layout, typography, illustration, and attractive color that match the print Ad “The Benefit of Eating Fish”.Print Ad attractive design will be special attraction for the target audience to see and read information on the benefit of fish in print Ad to increase competent knowledge and resources.Keyword : Print Ad, benefits of eating fish.

Abstract

Nowadays, Android-based technology not only facilitates people to communicate but also leads them to search for various information and news. Android-based communication media is essential for people as it offers easiness and practicality for they with high mobility level.Today, various applications are created to promote places or travel destinations. A museum managed by Padang government by coordinating with West Sumatera Culture Service Agency named Museum Adityawarman, now is providing general information service about the museum. The service was completed with a user-friendly and high speed android-based application which eases people to get the information they need. Thus, they don’t need to access the museum’s website to get the information before they entering the museum.The application is programmed to read hybrid language and supported with Android Studio emulator. This Android-based mobile application is expected to be able to accommodate people with high mobility level receiving information, particularly the information about Museum Adityawarman.Keywords: Museum Adityawarman, Android-based application, Android Studio

Abstract

Coloring book My City My World is a coloring book at the same time discussing the sale of books and cultural tourism in the city of Padang. Coloring book with targets teenagers audiencenya aims to promote tourism and culture in the city of Padang. Besides can color, we can also find out about travel and culture in the city of Padang. The design of this illustration is expected to contribute to and benefit all groups with a coloring book that he designed an appealing and can provide the necessary information while visiting the city of Padang.The design method used by the authors is the observation and documentation. Then proceed with the data analysis method using the analysis of the 5W + 1H (what, where, when, who, why and how) and a creative approach.Illustrations in the book coloring My City My World using decorative illustration without leaving its original shape, so it will attract more audience in coloring. In addition, the illustration has been designed also to add headline which serves to explain the illustration so that the audience will understand what is being colored image.Keywords: Illustration, Coloring Book, Padang.
