Abstract

The purpose of this audio-visual ad selection is to generate an effective and efficient promotion design in accordance with the advantages of audio-visual advertising, which can reach broad goals. In addition, with this audio visual ads later than as a media campaign is also expected to introduce "Yoesani shoes". SWOT is a method used in doing data collection that is through observation, interview, and documentation. Then proceed with data analysis method by using SWOT analysis (strenght, weakness, opportunity, threats). Further concludes data analysis and creative approach (mainstream and supporting media). In making the design of audio visual ads "Yoesani shoes" is the author displays verbal and visual messages for audiences who see this promotion.The main media in this design is the audio-visual ads made into three different versions of the ad, then to support the effectiveness of the mainstream media supported by some supporting media, such as X-banner, business cards, pins, clothes, stickers, hats and shopping bags .Keywords: "Yoesani shoes", Audio Visual Ads.

Abstract

Football clubs will never be separated from their supporters, because the supporters are the life of the team. Semen Padang Fc has two groups of supporters, namely The Kmer's and Spartack's, by the end of 2017, Semen Padang Fc is experiencing a downturn, Semen Padang FC must be relegated to the Indonesian two-league caste, this makes the enthusiasm of the people decline to come directly to the stadium supporting Semen Padang FC.To reciprocate the Society's enthusiasm a Campaign is required, the Campaign is an activity to influence the community by planning activities to achieve a particular goal. The purpose of this campaign video design is to invite people to come back to the stadium directly support the local club of West Sumatra, Semen Padang Fc.The design method of the authors use qualitative descriptive that is interpreting and related data related to the situation that is happening within the community. In addition the authors use the 5W + 1H method, used to problem solving in the background and find solutions of the problem.The design of the campaign "Come to Stadium" will be delivered through Audio Visual media. The role of Audio Visual in this campaign is needed to provide an appeal to society. In addition, for the delivery of information more effective then the campaign also supported some supporting media in the form of scraft, hat, backdrop, scarf, T-shirt, CD Label, CD Cover and Stickers.Keywords: Soccer, Supporter, Social Campaign, Design Method

Abstract

The purpose of designing this Picture storybook of Putri tujuhis to preserve traditional values, so people could care more about theircultural heritage. The method of data analysing indesigning this Picturestorybook of Putri Tujuh is 5W 1H which data have been obtainedthrough observation, interview, survey and literature. The book isdesigned using related theories such as visual communication design,layout, illustration, and typography. Abstract

The development of small and medium industries is one of the backbone of national economic development. One of the home industry is Rendang telur. Typical food from Jorong Koto Kociak, VII Koto Talago, Guguak, Kab. 50 This city, made of cassava of choice and has a delicious taste and tasty. Rendang Egg Kokoci still do not have a decent and interesting packaging, because the new form of plastic glass plastic. While other Rendang Egg industries already exist that use packaging that attract buyers attention. This final work aims to produce an interesting design design of the typical Rendang Telok Kokoci food package Koto Kociak, Kab.50 Kota. Abstract

Aidil Putra: Designing Educational Comic "Retak". Final assignment ofVisual Communication Design Major, Fine Arts Department, Faculty ofLanguages and Arts, Padang State University.Divorce happens in a family and it has direct impact to the children, itcauses the negative psychology to occcur in the children's way of thinking.Divorce rate in West Sumatera is still high with different problems a nddifferent family background.Based on the problems mentioned above, Educational Comic "Retak" isdesigned. Comic is chosen as the prime media, because it can conveymeaning effectively and the message can be directly understood withoutdeeper thinking compare to text book and novel. Compared to novel,comic has advantage on its visualisation.The comic design is supported with (1) family theory, (2) divorce theory,(3) design theory and (4) comic theory. The support of distinct theorieswill perfect the design of educational comic "Retak".In designing this comic, the writer used 5W1H methods (what, where,when, who, why, how). Abstract

Minangkabau has a unique and diverse culture, ranging from art, culture,songs, fairy tales, poems, beliefs, characterizations and visual characters. One ofthe uniqueness in Minangkabau is about beliefs that have been widely known bythe community and so the conversation from time to time until today. One of theinteresting beliefs in Minangkabau is about Urang Bunian mythology, but the lack of understanding of target audience and not optimal media in deliveringinformation about Urang Bunian visualization become the main factor of authorsto design Urang Bunian character design in Minangkabau culture through ArtBook media.Urang Bunian is made in the form of Art Book media which containsabout making character design of the information obtained. In addition to the Art Book media, the delivery of this information is also supported by several other media that help the mainstream media to introduce the subject to the target audience is posters, stickers, t-shirts, totebags, holograms, x-banners, mini xbanners. The design method used is 5w + 1h which is what, who, who, where, why (why) and how. Using the 5w + 1h theory, all the aspects summarized in the design process of character design can be born through the Art Book media.Keywords: Art Book, Urang Bunian, Mythology.

Abstract

The design of this brochure describes the information products and ser-vices Randang One Sungai Pua, excellent products from Randang One sungai Pua include Randang Dagiang, Randang Rabu (Paru), Randang Dendeng and Randang Suir (Randang the meat in smooth flat), as well as some catering cuisine services , akikah cuisine and traditional cuisine. The purpose of this promotional brochure design is to provide information about products and services, to be bet-ter known to the public and tourists. The method used in data gathering is by con-ducting interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. While the method used to analyse data is SWOT analysis method (Strenght, Weakness, Op-portunity, and Threat). To strengthen the design of the brochures are designed various media as a supporting medium of poster, x-banner, shirts, totebag, key-chains, stickers, social media (Instagram), and social media Gojek (Gofood).Keywords : Brosur, Promotion, Randang One, Sungai Pua.

Abstract

Train become a transportation that liked by the society of Padang and surrounding areas. The timely departure and free from traffic jam are the advantages possessed by train, but the increasing cases of train accidents in West Sumatra especially in line of Padang-Pariaman becomes a very serious problem nowadays, almost every year there is an accident in railway crossing. These accidents occur mostly in railway tracks that do not have a doorstop, the government has not build a doorstep in every existing crossing because of constrained budget, therefore the society can not only rely on and wait for prevention efforts from the government.Based on these problems, the design of public service for the safety in railway crossings is created in motion graphic media. Motion graphic is chosen as the main media because it makes the object looked dynamic, interesting, and not boring. Motion graphic will be more effective as the main media, because it contains elements of video and audio, the message that is informed is easily understood.The purpose of this design is to make public service in motion graphic form that can remind the audience to care about the safety at the railway. In designing this motion graphic, 5W1H method (what, where, who, why, how) is used. Author analyzed public safety service advertisements at railway crossings as a study in designing motion graphic and supported by supporting media such as poster, sticker, key chain, pin, T-shirt, totebag and buff.Keywords: Padang West Sumatra, Safety at Railway Crossing, Motion Graphic

Abstract

West Sumatera own assets of the heritage cultural relic Duch Colonial in Bukittinggi famous by Jam Gadang as a icon, the monument is the oldest clock tower in the world. Jam Gadang become main attraction tourism and main asset to escalate locally-generated revenue.Current development in the world of technology like internet globalization is unconvincingly information. Information of the media printing it had opportunities and key part as a media information in tourism development. Prospect of making pocket book Bukittinggi with communicative and informative is expected gave the contribution to people, traveling with happiness and top experiences.Design method of tourism guide pocket book Bukittinggi city is created through metaphor method and adjusted with SWOT analysis, the colletion of data is do it by interview, survey in fields and documentation data and relevant reviews.The tourism pocket book design of Bukittinggi city is created by with purpose main media with creative program used with design principal method, photo documentation, explained texts, colour, interested layout and unique. Abstract

The film aims to publish fishing chart fisherman in the process of catching fish in the open seas. Marine is an activity carried out by generations by some people who life in over coast.In the process, many effort to obtain maximum result, marine is an effort made by some fisherman who lead by a captain (tunganai). Methodology used is with the approach analysis 5W+1H.The documentary film publication supported by some other media, such as clothes, calendars, stickers, wall clocks, pins, key chain, CD covers, label CDs and mug.Keywords : Documenter fils, Fisherman, Marine, Publication, Gandoriah Beach.
