Abstract

The purpose of this design is to design non-formal learning media for interactive media-based elementary design. This interactive media learning is designed as a design solution to help the development of creativity and help to increase the reading interest of the target audience, namely the millennial generation. The method of designing interactive learning media is carried out with an analysis of 5W + 1H whose data is obtained from field observations such as millennial generation activities and interactions when receiving the learning process. This presentation produces an informal media based on interactive media-based elementary design as the main media, and also supported by several other media, namely: X-banners, posters, stickers, pouches, T-shirts, notebooks as the main media support and promotional media.Keywords: Interactive media, non-formal learning, elementary design.

Abstract

Abstract

Tujuan Tugas Akhir ini adalah merancang sebuah Infografis sebagai media dalam melakukan  Kampanye Hutan Kota kepada masyarakat di kota Padang. Infografis Hutan Kota ini merupakan  media interaktif yang menerapkan unsur permainan dalam menyampaikan informasi. dengan demikian interaksi yang terjadi akan mampu mengubah perilaku target audien melalui kebiasan  bermain dengan media-media yang terdapat pada media utama dan pendukung.Perancangan Infografis Hutan Kota di Kota Padang dilakukan dengan aplikasi Adobe Photoshop CC, Corel Draw X7, Autodesk SketchUp 2016. Perancangan Infografis Iklan Layanan Masyarakat Hutan kota di Kota Padang memiliki 7 media pendukung yaitu : Instalasi, Flyer, Peta, Stiker, Tshirt, Poster, dan Manual Book.Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan 5W+1H yang dijadikan sebagai konsep dasar pemecah  masalah yaitu what (apa), who (siapa), when (kapan), where (dimana) dan how (bagaimana). Tujuan  dari analisis 5W + 1 H ini adalah untuk memberi gambaran hasil analisis yang digunakan sebagai  dasar atau landasan penyusunan objektif dan strategi dalam pembuatan. Semua aspek yang terangkum di dalam Perancangan Infografis Iklan layanan Masyarakat Hutan Kota di Kota Padang bisa dijadikan sebagai petunjuk dan pedoman bagi generasi selanjutnya untuk mencintai serta hidupberdampingan dengan Lingkungan Hidup di Kota Padang.Kata Kunci: Infografis, Hutan kota, Iklan Layanan Masyarakat, Kota Padang, Interaktif

Abstract

The Man Upon The Hill Video Clip is full of unique visual communication graphic content such as  the appearance of some symbols in this clip that affect the number of viewers, with a non-linear plot. This research intention is to identify the symbols contained in the video clip and find out the  meaning of the visual in the video clip o  Man upon the Hill.This research using a semiotical method proposed by Roland Barthes, sign as meaning with  denotation and connotation level, with connotation level two. Using the qualitative methods in  collecting the data, the data was collected by dividing the video clips based on the scene and  identifying symbols and meanings contained in the video clips that are supported by interview data.The Man Upon the Hill video clip as a whole presents the meaning of human spirituality with nature  presented in various symbols along with supporting natural elements such as; water, fire, and earth  (land), which are presented through this visual video clip.Keywords: Video Clips, Symbols, Human Spirituality

Abstract

This article was written with the aim of producing a form of promotion of the Hasan Husen Lukah Gilo traditional arts group effectively and efficiently, this design uses video media and is disseminated by uploading it on social media in order to reach broad targets. thus the video promotion of Hasan Husen Lukah Gilo traditional arts group can show an interesting performance from the traditional Hasan Husen Lukah Gilo art group to the target audience. The method used in collecting there are two parts, namely by collecting primary data and secondary data. Then proceed with the method of data analysis using 5W + 1H analysis, namely: what, who, when, where, why, and how.The design of this promotional video can create a good positioning. In addition, it can attract the attention of the target audience, especially the people who come to the city of Padang, considering that audio-based promotional media is a medium that is very likely and has a big influence in increasing promotion coupled with supporting media such as posters, motion posters, stickers, key chains, hats, clothes t-shirt, and Cd cover .Keywords : Designing, Lukah Gilo, Promotional, Videos.

Abstract

The selection of the Sign System at the General Hospital of Mayjen. H. A. Thalib Kerinci for the object of the research was carried out with the background of the many visitors to the hospital, so that it needed a media information sign system in the hospital. The research objective of RSUD Mayjen H.A. Thalib Kerinci to find out the extent to which the effectiveness of Usability (usage) information media Sign System RSUD Mayjen H. A. Thalib Kerinci. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Qualitative research design is to understand the events experienced by what is studied to get data in accordance with the conditions that occur. The subjects of this study were visitors to the General Hospital of Mayjen H.A. Thalib Kerinci, amounting to 3 people as informants or resource persons. This study uses data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews with informants, and documentation.The results of the Sign System research at the General Hospital of Major General H. A. Thalib Kerinci were effective. The effective results of the sign system at RSUD Mayjen H.A. Thalib Kerinci obtained from the results of data findings and interviews of informants who gave answers about the sign system at the General Hospital of Major General H.A. Thalib Kerinci has shown the right direction and does not make visitors confused. Illustration of RSUD sign system Mayjen H.A. Thalib Kerinci can be easily understood. The layout of the sign system at RSUD Mayjen H.A. Thalib Kerinci can be seen easily (unhindered) and the location of the placement is in the right place. Sign system at RSUD Mayjen H.A. Abstract

Sakti Sungai Janiah Fish Pond is a tourist attraction in West Sumatra Province. Sakti fish attraction has long been famous, the fish in the pond according to legend originated from humans, but in recent years visitors who have arrived have begun to decrease due to the many new tourist objects opened, this situation makes the authors interested in improving returning the number of visitors in the magical fish attraction by making a promotional video entitled "Sungai Janiah sakti fish tour".The approach methodology in designing this promotional video uses a qualitative approach, namely by understanding the information in a problem. So that the selection of promotional media is more effective, the message to be conveyed is easily understood by the target audience.The result of designing a promotional video for the Sungai Janiah sakti fish pond is a work in the form of videos that will be packed in full HD format and diburning on DVD discs, and for supporting media produced are DVD labels, DVD disc covers, shirts, stickers, key chain, pin, totebag and poster.Keywords: media promotion, nature tourism, legendary tourism, Sungai Janiah magic fish.

Abstract

Kurangnya remaja kreatif memiliki imajinasi dan motivasi untuk mengembangkan suatu karya yang dapat diakui oleh banyak peminat dan berpotensi menjadi karya yang dapat dikenang sepanjang tahun, demi mensejarahkan perkembangan suatu negara khususnya Indonesia. perkembangan zaman teknologi dari luar negara membuat remaja kreatif cenderung mengisi waktu luang dengan kegiatan yang tidak teratur. Salah satu faktor yang menjadi penyebabnya yaitu media hiburan yang kurang bermakna dan mendidik, membuat remaja kreatif yang ingin memulai menciptakan suatu karya hanya mendapatkan sedikit dukungan dari peminat sekitar negara. Fokus, waktu dan tenaga remaja kreatif menjadi teralihkan dari perihal yang penting seperti kualitas diri dan masa depan.Dalam perancangan komik Nigrum Rosis, penulis mengumpulkan data melalui metode BrainStorming dengan menerima berbagai masukan dari narasumber serta ditunjang oleh referensi dan komik oleh penulis lain. Data diolah melalui metode Glass Box. Komik dikerjakan secara manual dan dibantu melalui digital mengunakan komputer dengan aplikasi CorelDraw dan Adobe Photoshop.Komik Nigrum Rosis dicetak dalam bentuk buku komik berwarna hitam putih dengan total 34 halaman berukuran A5 dengan kertas art paper. Perancangan ini juga didukung oleh media pendukung seperti baju kaos, mug, gantungan kunci, pin, stiker, poster dan x-banner.Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Imajinasi, Motivasi, Komik, Teknologi

Abstract

Nowadays there are a lot of entertainment media that raise historical themes abroad, such as games, animation, movies, and comics. Communities in Indonesia, especially many adolescents who are interested in foreign history themes, they know who the historical figures and events that occurred in its history. But domestic history is being abandoned due to a lack of interest in youth in local history and a lack of media that raises historical themes.The purpose of designing the motion graphic history of the Majapahit empire from being formed to its glory is to attract teenagers to domestic history. The theme of Majapahit is raised because Majapahit's history is very well known in Indonesia but currently there are not many teenagers who know the story. The designer chooses motion graphic media because of its simple nature so that it is effective in attracting interest and the manufacturing process that is not as difficult as other media entertainments so that it is fast in design.The method used in the motion graphic design is by interviewing the history teacher and looking for data from a book by Slamet Muljaya. The author designs motion graphics and is supported by supporting media in the form of x-banners, trading cards, mugs, clocks, stickers, totebags, and t-shirts, which are able to promote Motion Graphic History of the Majapahit Empire from Formed to Glory.Keywords: Motion Graphic, History, Majapahit

Abstract

The purpose of this design is to optimize learning about earthquake disaster mitigation for elementary school children in the city of Padang, through audio-visual media based on motion graphics. Because the city of Padang is a region that has a high potential for earthquakes in Indonesia, it must be balanced with adequate preparedness understanding and training. This design produces audio visual media in the form of motion graphics that contain earthquake risk reduction or mitigation. Besides this design is also supported by several other media such as: CD Cover, CD Label, Infographic Poster, Notebook, Banner, T-shirt, Hat, and Sticker. The design method used in this design is a meode glass box which is a rational and logical design, and through several stages considered by the designer.Keywords : Motion Graphic, Earthquake, Padang
