Abstract

Nagari Sungai Buluah Tourism is a natural tourism destination in the Padang Pariaman Regency which has two tourist attractions namely Sarasah Kuau waterfall and kuliek tree house. However, the lack of information about Nagari Sungai Buluah tourist attractions and the absence of use of video media by the management in promoting Nagari Sungai Buluah tourism objects, has made tourists or people outside the area not know in detail about tourism and what activities can be enjoyed.Promotional videos of Nagari Sungai Buluah are inseparable from communicative and informative media so that they can be reached by the wider community. This promotional video contains documentation of the trip to the tourist attraction of sarasah kuau waterfall and kuliek tree house. The purpose of the design is to get an effective and communicative video design to introduce and provide information about tourism in Nagari Sungai Buluah. This promotional video is made using qualitative research methods withThe data analysis method used in this promotional video is through the 5W + 1H analysis approach (what, who, when, where, why and how). The data collection method used was documentary observation and interviews with officers at the Padang Pariaman District Youth and Sport Office and Benny Parmadi tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis). This promotional video is also supported by several supporting media such as posters, sign systems, T-shirts, totebags, stickers, mugs and CD covers, can be customized.Keywords:Video,Promotion,KuauKuliek,Nagari,Sungai,Buluah

Abstract

The absence of a visual identity of the business of Nasi Sek Uniang Seafood Warung, based on observations of the current conditions, so it has not shown a visual identity that can be recognized by the public or consumers, in addition to business competitors Sek Uniang Rice Nasi Warung that developed in Padang. The purpose of this design is to create a visual identity in the form of information in the form of logograms and logotypes of the products of Sek Uniang Rice Nasi Warung.The design method used is the Glass Box method, the design carried out rationally and logically, starting from data collection, interviews and observations. The analytical approach used is the 5W + 1H analysis method (what, who, where, when, why, how) to find a solution to the problem at hand.The design of the main visual media identity of the Uniang Rice Seafood Stalls namely manual book, as well as supporting media namely, sign board, business card, menu list, hat, paper bag, invoice, clothes, apron, poster, x-banner, paper bag, mug, stickers, pins and stamps, which aim to strengthen the application of the main media.Keywords: Visual Identity, Brands, and Sek Uniang Rice Seafood Stalls.

Abstract

The purpose of this design is to design an informative sign system, have a visual appeal with the theme, a form of communication with a clear and effective approach so as to facilitate the target audience towards the location of the weaving craftsmen.The method used in designing this sign system is through the glass box approach, with the analysis of the data used is 5W + 1H (what, who, where, when, why, and how) to find a solution to the problem at hand.This design produced a draft sign system for weaving on the Jambua River in Solok Regency namely Identification Sign, Direction Sign, and information sign as the main media, and also supported by several other media, namely: posters, key chains, pins, t-shirts, stickers, and Paper bag, as supporting the main media and as a media campaign.Keywords: Sign system, house weaving, craft
