Abstract

Covid – 19 has had an impact on various sectors, one of which is the education sector. Online learning or distance learning is a must. Online learning is felt by all levels of education. The teacher gives school assignments through online learning support applications or whatsappgroups. This is felt by children and parents in Sumberkolak Village, Panarukan District, Situbondo Regency. Resulting in dependence on using gadgets and reducing interest in reading. And other general knowledge. Parents feel overwhelmed in guiding their sons and daughters in doing schoolwork. They also have free time which is not accompanied by productive activities. Back to Village Community Service Program as an effort to empower the community organized by UNEJ is oriented towards optimizing children's literacy. The activity focuses on literacy and learning activists for elementary school children. This activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The result of this activity is the creation of a conducive and comfortable atmosphere in literacy and learning activities, as well as stimulating children's creativity and skills during the pandemic. Abstract

Sweet potatoes are plants that have stem tubers. There are a variety of kinds based on the color of its tuber, such as white, yellow, and purple. The purple color in purple sweet potato is caused due to the existence of anthocyanins. Purple sweet potato was chosen because it gives health benefits to its consumer as it contains beta-carotene and anthocyanins as sources of antioxidants. Because of its benefits, it can be said that purple sweet potato is one of the food security sources for families. Thus, the cultivation of purple sweet potato is necessary and pioneered by Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT), such as KWT Bayur Lestari by utilizing the existing yard. The plantation was done using sacks in order to minimize the used area. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of KWT Bayur Lestari in cultivation using the existing yard. The results of the community service program showed an increase in knowledge based on test results of 18,26 points, from 80,43 points to 98,70.

Abstract

Stunting is currently a nutritional problem caused by multifactors and requires multisectoral treatment. The potential of posyandu cadres as drivers of the health sector, especially monitoring the growth of toddlers to increase knowledge and skills in helping prevent and overcome nutritional problems (stunting). The problem of stunting in the partner village (Tawangsari village) shows that the provision of food (ASI and MP-ASI) for infants and under-fives is not optimal. The goal of this activity is to increase the knowledge of health cadres and mothers of stunting toddlers about the importance of providing complementary feeding and the practice of food processing techniques made from local foods as the basic ingredients in making MP-ASI and growth monitoring of toddlers. This training is lecture, discussion, demonstration and simulation. Activity is that there is an increase in nutritional knowledge of posyandu cadres and mothers of children under five growth monitoring.

Abstract

: Sudimoro Village is one of the villages in Klaten Regency. Most of the residents of Sudimoro Village are engaged in agriculture. Meanwhile, Sudimoro Village has the potential for natural tourism that can be a source of food for Trigona honey bees. Trigona honey bee cultivation is expected to be able to empower the community's economy so that the surrounding community has economic resources other than agriculture. Trigona honey bee cultivation is expected to produce honey that can be a product of Sudimoro Village to support the One Village One Product Program. In addition, it is expected to be able to attract tourists to visit Sudimoro Village. The implementation method used in this activity is counseling, lectures, question and answer discussions, then continued with mentoring training. The target partners in this Community Service activity are the Sudimoro Village Community, the Kalimosodo Tourism Object Management, and PKK women. The results achieved from this service activity are that the target partners are able to cultivate trigona honey-producing bees, starting from breeding to producing honey.

Abstract

Community service in the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is carried out in the MosesProfessional Laundry business. The Moses Professional Laundry business is a promising business, this issupported by a strategic location close to apartments, hotels, homestays, and even offices. The businessmanagement of Moses Professional Laundry (MPL) has not been carried out professionally, so manycustomer complaints regarding MPL's performance include: laundry that is not completed on time,ironing results are less slippery, many customers' clothes are missing, and the delay in resolvingcomplaints. With conditions like this, many customers switch to other laundry. MPL's main problems arein the areas of management, production and marketing. The purpose of this community service is toprovide training and assistance in implementing the 9 elements of the Business Model Canvas (BMC).The method of service implementation is training and mentoring: the use of an LPG electric converterdryer machine, dryer room infrared, fast and smooth steam ironing techniques, partnership managementtechniques, techniques for determining market segmentation, cataloging and brochures, cost efficiency,control management, service techniques and maximum utilization of resources. Abstract

Appropriate technology in the process of making bread dough is needed to make the manufacturing process more faster which in turn will increase productivity. The process of mixing the tawa bread dough at the Roti Ketawa Business in Melati II Duku Village, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, the average production capacity per day uses 300 kg of wheat flour, and is still done manually using human hands. The quality of the dough results still leaves yields and dough that is not homogeneous and takes one working day from a worker with a wage of Rp. 150,000. Work equipment still pays less attention to hygienic factors. The process of draining oil from the results of frying the dough is still manual, namely by drying on paper and has not provided production process in effectively and efficiently. The use of bread dough mixing machines, spinning machines, electric thermal sealers, cooking stoves and work tables for the process of cutting dough with ceramic materials is an appropriate technology that can be applied to make the production process more effectively and efficiently so that lower yields are obtained. economic value in the production process. laughter bread, when compared to the previous production process (manual). The cost of mixing into dough Rp. 50,000 per day, takes up to 4 hours and makes the packaging process more practical and product packaging more attractive.

Abstract

Ipomoea reptans L. is ones type of vegetable that is consumed by the people of Gorontalo. The Mo’awota farmer group harvests every day. The obstacle faced is the lack of knowledge about organic cultivation and farming analysis so that farmer do not know the amount of income obtained from their farming. The purpose of this activity is to increase farmers’ knowledge about the importance of farming analysis and pest control proper and enviromentally friendly farming so as to production that is safe for consumers. The activity was by providing counseling in the Mo’awota farmer group Bulango Timur and conducting pree tests, post tests and calculating farming analysis. The results show that there is increase in farmers’ knowledge about organic farming and pest and desease control. The results of farming analysis obtained that the average income each farmer is Rp.1.060.000,-/month and R/C ratio of 2,12.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that causes premature death especially among the elderly. However, the awareness and participation of the elderly are still low in efforts to control hypertension. Cadres and families have roles as companions for the elderly in carrying out activities, meeting daily needs, and providing access to good health services for the elderly. Therefore, it is essential to convey helpful information to cadres and families. However, no media can facilitate appropriate information that can be used at this time. This study is interested in doing a health information module to increase the empowerment of cadres to achieve healthy elderly in the community. Two stages have been carried out in the implementation. First, there is the preparation in the form of modules, and the second is socialization or training to the audience. The knowledge evaluation process was carried out using a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions related to hypertension information and elderly care. The analysis was performed by paired t-test. The results showed differences in participants' knowledge before and after being given community socialization (p-value of 0.000). The results of this evaluation indicate that socialization can increase participants' knowledge. Therefore, it is recommended to include education activities into community as part of healthy initiative. Keywords: elderly; hypertension; integrated healthcare center

Abstract

Students are said to be successful in learning if there is a change in student behavior and learning outcomes. In learning activities, motivation is needed as a driving force for students when following the learning process. The phenomenon found that during online learning many students do not have the motivation to learn. One way that can be used to increase student learning motivation is to provide self-efficacy training. Self-efficacy training can help students Community service activities aim to increase students' learning motivation through self-efficacy training. The subjects in this PkM activity were students of class X SMA Teuku Umar Semarang, totaling 60 students. The implementation method used in this training activity is to use the lecture and training method. The activity was carried out in two sessions, the first session was given motivational material and the second session was given self-efficacy material and training to increase self-efficacy. The data analysis method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results of data analysis using the testpaired sample t-test showed an increase in student understanding with a mean difference score of 1.50 Pretest and Posttest 4.07 with a T Test for mean equity of 2.567. Abstract

Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan besar untuk mengatasi tingginya angka kematian yang disebabkan oleh kelahiran prematur. Kelahiran prematur merupakan kelahiran yang terjadi sebelum kehamilan mencapai usia kandungan 37 minggu. Bayi prematur berisiko mengalami komplikasi sehingga memerlukan perawatan kesehatan di Unit Rawat Intensif Neonatus (NICU). Selain dari perawatan kesehatan, peran dari orang tua bayi prematur (PRIMI) lulusan NICU sangat krusial untuk menjamin perkembangan dan kualitas hidup dari bayi prematur. Pada program pengabdian masyarakat yang dijalankan ini, intervensi dilakukan pada 20 orang tua bayi prematur lulusan NICU RSUD Dr. Soetomo dalam upaya memberikan pelatihan terkait perawatan bayi prematur di rumah, meningkatkan kemampuan pengawasan orang tua terhadap tumbuh kembang bayi, serta membentuk suatu komunitas orang tua yang mandiri dalam bidang kesehatan anak. Penilaian dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test 6-item terkait kesehatan bayi prematur. Orang tua menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan terkait kesehatan bayi prematur, ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rerata nilai menjadi 89,24 dari 59,9 atau sebanyak 42,3% pada hasil post-test dibandingkan dengan pre-test. Orang tua bayi prematur yang hadir menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dan merasa cukup puas dengan jalannya acara. Intervensi lanjutan, pemandirian komunitas, dan keterlibatan dari organisasi diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar ke depannya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayananan kesehatan pada bayi prematur di Indonesia.
