Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate in Indonesia still high, it was 359/100.000 live birth. The most common is caused by prolonged labor (37%) and asphyxia neonatorum (35,9%). The left lateral position usually used if semi fowler position was not work to get childbirth. The second stage time are very important for fetus condition. This study aim to analyze the differences of lateral and semi fowler position toward second stage of labor time among multiparity maternal in RSUD Idaman Banjarbaru. Design using analytical with cohort approach. Subjects were 30 normal multIparity maternal on second stage phase on Desember 2016 to March 2017. The result were lateral position mean was 12,40 minutes and semi fowler position mean was 22,47 minutes. Independent T test show there is difference of lateral and semi fowler position toward second stage of labor time. Based on these result, a midwife supposed to implement lateral position as best labor position instead semi fowler

Abstract

MMR (Maternal Mortality Rate) in Indonesia, one of which is caused by hypertension in pregnancy. Based on data obtained in Martapura Public Health Center in 2016 was recorded in 1499 among pregnant women there who had hypertension as many as 40 people. The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between knowledge and attitude of pregnant women against hypertension in pregnancy. This study uses an analytical method, data collection using questionnaires, and sampling purposive sampling. Results showed that respondents have a good knowledge of hypertension were 69 respondents (77,5%), while the positive attitude of respondents who behave as much as 64 respondents (71,9%). From the statistical results using Chi Square test with α = 0.05 p value = 0.036, this means there is significant correlation between knowledge of the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women. The results using Chi Square statistic with α = 0.05 p value = 0,001, this means there is significant correlation between attitude with hypertension in pregnant women. Based on the results, for health personnel in order to improve services to pregnant women so as to reduce the risk of hypertension

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of counseling about clean and healthy life behaviour (PHBS) to knowledge, attitude and action of PHBS family in the village of Lok Buntar Sungai Tabuk South Kalimantan. This study used a pre-eksperiment design method with One group pre test and post test design.Wilcoxon signed ranks test and Paired t test results showed an influence between counseling about Clean and Healthy Life Behaviour (PHBS) on knowledge, attitudes and action of PHBS Family. That result showed an difference of knowledge, before and after counseling. That also showed an attitude and action about PHBS.Before counseling the knowledge of respondents in good category as much 7 respondents (23%) and after counseling increased to 22 respondents (73,4%). About attitude of PHBS, before counseling in good category as much 1 respondents (3,3%) increase to 11 respondents (37%) in after counseling. About action of PHBS, before counseling nothing respondents in good category and after counseling increase to 9 respondents (30%) in good category
