Abstract

The main cause of heart disease (cardiovascular) is manifestation of arterosclerosis in coronary arteries. Risk factors for coronary heart disease are abnormalities of lipid profile and obesity. Waist circumference is an indicator used to determine the amount of excess fat in the abdomen. Based on the research, the higher ratio of waist circumferencewill be followed by high LDL cholesterol, triglyceride levels and total cholesterol levels. The purpose of this study is the association of obesity indicators with total cholesterol and triglyceride levels of heart disease patients in the Heart Polyclinic of RSUD Brig. H. Hasan Basry Kandangan. This research is an observational analytic research and use cross sectional design. The sample in this study amounted to 78 respondents (48 men and 30 women) with accidental sampling technique. Data analysis with Pearson correlation test with p value <0,05. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained thatratio of waist circumference ideal of male respondents as much as 30 respondents and women as many as 9 respondents. Total cholesterol content of respondents mostly in the high category (≥ 240 mg/dl), which is 41 respondents; triglyceride levels of respondents are mostly in the high category (250-500 mg/dl), as many as 38 respondents. There is a relationship between ratio of waist circumference with total cholesterol and triglyceride levels of respondents at H. Hasan Basry Kandangan Hospital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of counseling about clean and healthy life behaviour (PHBS) to knowledge, attitude and action of PHBS family in the village of Lok Buntar Sungai Tabuk South Kalimantan. This study used a pre-eksperiment design method with One group pre test and post test design.Wilcoxon signed ranks test and Paired t test results showed an influence between counseling about Clean and Healthy Life Behaviour (PHBS) on knowledge, attitudes and action of PHBS Family. That result showed an difference of knowledge, before and after counseling. That also showed an attitude and action about PHBS.Before counseling the knowledge of respondents in good category as much 7 respondents (23%) and after counseling increased to 22 respondents (73,4%). About attitude of PHBS, before counseling in good category as much 1 respondents (3,3%) increase to 11 respondents (37%) in after counseling. About action of PHBS, before counseling nothing respondents in good category and after counseling increase to 9 respondents (30%) in good category

Abstract

Adolescent health is essential to note because healthy teenagers will be able to produce high-quality future generations for the nation. One of the efforts to improve health can be performed by improving knowledge and positive attitudes towards health. This study aimed to analyze the effect of nutrition education on knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition in adolescent girls with chronic energy deficiency. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest approach. The study population was 149 adolescent girls aged 15 years in 10th and 11th grade of Islamic Senior High School 2 Banjar, and the sample was 33 adolescent girls. The data regarding knowledge and attitude about balanced nutrition were collected through interviews using a structured questionnaire. Differences in knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition in adolescent girls before and after nutrition education interventions were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average score of balanced nutrition knowledge in adolescent girls before the nutrition education intervention was 48.80±11.7, which increased to 89.15±8.5 after the intervention (p-value=0.000). The average score of balanced nutrition knowledge in adolescent girls before the intervention was 82.44±4.3, which increased to 87.05±4.2 after nutrition education (p-value=0.000). These results indicated that nutrition education could increase the knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition in adolescent girls.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is still one of the national problems because it reflects the value of the socio-economic welfare of the community. It also has large influence on the quality of human resources. Anemia of pregnancy is called 'potential danger to mother and child', and thereby anemia requires attention from all parties involved in health services at the forefront. This descriptive analytic study used a cross-sectional design, with a total sample of 40 anemic pregnant women. This study used a purposive sampling method. It was conducted in the working area of the Puskesmas Danau Panggang. The variables observed in this study were energy and protein consumption levels in anemic pregnant women. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results showed that the energy consumption level of anemic pregnant women was mostly in the severe deficit category, namely 95% (38) of anemic pregnant women. Based on this number, most of them (i.e., 58% or 22 anemic pregnant women) had the energy consumption level between 30% and 49% RDA. Meanwhile, the level of protein consumption of most anemic pregnant women was in the severe deficit category, i.e., 87,5% (35) anemic pregnant women. Based on this number, the majority, namely 60% (21) pregnant women with anemia, Most of anemic pregnant women (60% or 21 women) had the protein consumption level between 30% and 49% of the RDA.

Abstract

School-aged children have habit to eating hawker foods. Hawker foods are less qualified health and nutrition, so it will health threats to children The study aimed to find out the correlation between gender, pocket money, habitual breakfast and bringing packed meal and nutrition knowledge with the student behaviors on choosing hawker foods. This study type was observational with Cross Sectional approach. This study population was 49 children. The study results that the children’s knowledge level on choosing hawker food, mostly of them had good knowledge of 53%. The gender of student behaviors chose the best hawker foods of 32,7%. Pocket money of student behaviors chose the best hawker foods of 32,7%. Habitual breakfast of student behaviors chose the best hawker foods of 51%. The habitual bringing pack meal of student behaviors chose the best hawker foods of 22,4%. Based on Rank Spearman correlation analysis, that there was no relation between children's knowledge and choosing hawker food (value p = 0,165), There was no relation between sex and choosing hawker food (p value = 0,482), no relation between pocket money and choosing hawker food (value p = 0,127), there was no relation between the habitual bringing packed meal and the choosing hawker food (p = 0, 495), there was relation between habitual breakfast and choosing hawker food (p = 0,030 )

Abstract

Chips made from the mixture of tapioca flour and flavor ingredients such as shrimp or fish. The formulation of chips in this study consist of tapioka flour, patin fish and tofu waste pulp. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tapioca formulations, patin fish and tofu waste pulp to water content, protein, crude fiber, and the ability of swell also the acceptable. The method used in this study is an experimental method using RAL with 4 treatments and 3 times replication with the formulation of tapioca flour, pati fish and tofu waste pulp know P0 (100%: 0%: 0%), P1 (43%: 43%: 14 %), P2 (56%: 37%: 7%), P3 (60%: 33%: 7%). Organoleptic test carried out by 25 panelists at the Department of S1 Nutrition STiKes Husada Borneo. Product analysis has done in University of Lambung Mangkurat Laboratory. Data analysis on water content, protein and crude fiber using one way ANOVA, while the acceptable level using Friedman analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between the formulation of tapioca flour, patin fish and tofu waste pulp to the water content with the highest average value is P3 statistically obtained (P = 0.037 <α = 0.05), the protein with the highest average value is P1 is obtained Statistical results (P = 0,000 <α = 0,05), crude fiber with the highest average value is P3 obtained statistical results (P = 0,000 <α = 0,05) and the ability of swell with the highest average value of P0 obtained statistical results (P = 0,000 <α = 0,05). For the acceptable which includes colour, aroma and taste with the highest value in the P1 category like, the texture with the highest value in the P0 category like. There is a differences in the acceptable of the producing of chips with the formulation of tapioca flour, patin fish and tofu waste pulp produced because p <α = 0.05.

Abstract

The state of health is the health situation experienced by a person and the disease is a factor that is associated with the state of health of a person. The health of a person is said to be good if in a person's body is good nutrition and a maximum satisfied. Meanwhile, nutritional status is a state of the body because of food consumption and utilization of nutrients; health status is affected by the balance between intake and expenditure of nutrients for its use by the body. Nutritional needs that have a role in child development largely covers energy, carbohydrates and proteins, vitamins and minerals are known as elements of nutrition that influence growth and development of children. The nutritional needs of children can be met from the intake of food or beverages consumed at home and consumed outside the home, or often referred to as a street food. In addition to the consumption of food as a major factor affecting the health and nutritional status of a person, there are also other factors that can affect the health of children, behavior of living healthy and clean. Clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors, in essence, is the prevention of human behavior of various diseases. This study aims to determine the relationship of clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors to the health and nutritional status of children SDN Angsau 2 Pelaihari. This research used analytic investigation with the design of the cross section. The study population for all students SDN Angsau 2 samples Pelaihari. total sample of 60 respondents with two criteria for inclusion and exclusion. Based on the results of the statistical tests of Spearman correlation showed there was have association between clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors (p = 0.000) with children’s health status and nutritional status of children SDN Angsau 2 Pelaihari. Abstract

Latar Belakang : Cemaran adalah kejadian yang tidak dikehendaki ada dalam makanan yang mungkin berasal dari lingkungan atau sebagai akibat proses produksi makanan, dapat berupa cemaran biologis, kimia dan benda asing yang dapat mengganggu, merugikan dan membahayakan kesehatan manusia. Mikroba dapat mencemari beberapa aspek seperti makanan, alat makan, air dan kesehatan penjamah makanan.Tujuan : Mengetahuai cemaran mikrobiologi pada makanan, alat makan, air dan kesehatan penjamah makanan di unit instalasi gizi Rumah Sakit X di BanjarmasinMetode : Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Variabel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa yaitu cemaran mikrobiologi pada makanan, cemaran mikrobiologi pada alat makan, cemaran mirobiologi pada air dan cemaran mikrobiologi pada kesehatan penjamah makanan. Cara pengukuran pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Total Plate Count (TPC) untuk sampel makanan dan sampel swab dubur, Colony Forming Unit (CFU) untuk sampel alat makan, metode Most Probable Number (MPN) untuk sampel air, metode. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa jenis sampel yang telah dilakukan pemeriksaan laboratorium seperti 24 sampel makanan, 4 sampel alat makan, 6 sampel air dan 18 sampel rectal swab.Hasil : Hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium menunjukkan seluruh sampel makanan dan kesehatan penjamah makanan menunjukkan hasil memenuhi syarat, sedangkan untuk hasil pemeriksaan cemaran pada air kran terdapat 1 sampel air kran yang tidak memenuhi syarat serta pada alat makan terdapat 2 sampel alat makan yang tidak memenuhi syarat.Simpulan : Tidak ada bukti kontaminasi mikrobiologis dalam sampel makanan atau kesehatan penjamah makanan. Sementara itu, beberapa sampel menunjukkan bakteri dalam air keran dan peralatan makan. Dua sampel sampel alat makan mengandung bakteri patogen, dan satu sampel air kran mengandung bakteri ColiKata Kunci : Alat makan; Air; Cemaran mikrobiologi; Penjamah makanan.

Abstract

Masyarakat saat ini, khususnya remaja, lebih sering mengkonsumsi makanan cepat saji, makanan dan minuman yang mengandung kadar gula yang tinggi dan lemak dengan kuantitas berlebih, serta kurang mengkonsumsi buah dan sayur. Prevalensi penduduk Kalimantan Selatan berusia ≥5 tahun yang mengkonsumsi buah atau sayur sesuai anjuran lebih rendah dari prevalensi nasional, yaitu sebesar 1,9%. Prevalensi konsumsi buah dan sayur sesuai anjuran di Kota Banjarbaru (0,61%) termasuk peringkat ketiga terendah di Kalimantan Selatan. Konsumsi buah dan sayur para siswa di SMA Darul Hijrah Putri masih kurang dan mereka cenderung membeli jajanan yang kurang sehat. Salah satu faktor penyebab masalah ini adalah kurangnya pengetahuan terkait konsumsi buah dan sayur. Edukasi gizi TIKAS ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang pentingnya konsumsi buah dan sayur sehingga jumlah buah dan sayur yang mereka konsumsi meningkat hingga mencapai batas yang dianjurkan (400-600 g/hari). Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMA Darul Hijrah Putri, Kota Banjarbaru, pada 20 Agustus 2022. Sebanyak 16 siswa SMA kelas XII berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Penyuluhan dilakukan melalui ceramah menggunakan slide power point dan leaflet. Peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dievaluasi dengan cara membandingkan hasil jawaban siswa terhadap kuesioner berupa pertanyaan tertutup yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. Persentase siswa dengan pengetahuan baik meningkat, dari 0,00% sebelum penyuluhan menjadi 75% (12 siswa) setelah penyuluhan. Persentase siswa dengan pengetahuan yang tergolong cukup meningkat, dari 6,25% (1 siswa) sebelum penyuluhan menjadi 25% (4 siswa) setelah penyuluhan. Selain itu, tidak ada siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang setelah diberikan penyuluhan. Hasil uji t berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa sebelum penyuluhan berbeda signifikan dengan sesudah penyuluhan. Rata-rata skor pengetahuan meningkat sebesar 41,88%, dari 40,00% sebelum penyuluhan menjadi 81,88% setelah penyuluhan.People nowadays, especially adolescents, consume fast food, food and drinks containing high sugar and excessive fat more often and hardly consume fruits and vegetables. The prevalence of people in South Kalimantan aged ≥5 years who consume fruits or vegetables according to the recommendation was lower than the national prevalence, i.e., 1.9%. The prevalence of fruit and vegetable consumption as recommended in Banjarbaru City (0.61%) was the third lowest in South Kalimantan. Fruit and vegetable consumption of students in SMA Darul Hijrah Putri was still low, and they tended to buy unhealthy snacks. One of the factors causing the problem is low knowledge about fruit and vegetable consumption. TIKAS nutrition education aimed to increase adolescents’ knowledge regarding the importance of fruit and vegetable consumption, thereby improving the quantity consumed to reach the recommended threshold (400-600 g/day). This activity was conducted in Darul Hijrah Putri Senior High School, Banjarbaru City, on August 20, 2022. A total of 16 students in the 12th grade participated in this activity. The counselling was performed through lectures using PowerPoint slides and leaflets. The increase in students’ knowledge was evaluated by comparing the results of students’ answers to the questionnaires given before and after education. The percentage of students with good knowledge increased from 0.00% before counselling to 75% (12 students) after counselling. The percentage of students with sufficient knowledge increased from 6.25% (1 student) before counselling to 25% (4 students) after counselling. Besides, none of the students belonged to the low knowledge category after counselling. Paired sample t-test results showed that students’ knowledge before nutrition education significantly differed from their knowledge after it. The mean knowledge score improved as much as 41,88%, from 40,00% before education to 81,88% after education.

Abstract

Saat ini dunia dikejutkan dengan berita mewabahnya penyakit yang disebut corona virus disease 19 (COVID-19). Virus SARS-CoV2 ini sudah menjangkau seluruh dunia (213 negara, area, atau teritori), termasuk Indonesia. Kunci keberhasilan dalam mengatasi Covid-19 adalah melalui gerakan preventif untuk mempraktekkan pola hidup sehat dan membatasi kontak fisik. Selain itu, perlu meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh terhadap infeksi dengan asupan zat gizi yang cukup dan beragam. Penyuluhan “Gizi untuk Meningkatkan Imunitas” merupakan upaya mendukung strategi prioritas pemerintah dalam menghadapi pandemi. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi D3 Perekam dan Informasi Kesehatan STIKes Husada Borneo sebagai lingkungan terdekat sekaligus bagian dari civitas akademika STIKes Husada Borneo. Penyuluhan ini dilakukan secara virtual dengan aplikasi whatsap group dan youtube serta pretest dan postest. Berdasarkan hasil penyuluhan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dengan metode penyuluhan secara daring/online menggunakan media video audio visual, walaupun perubahananya tidak begitu besar. Hal tersebut dikarenakan materi penyuluhan tidak disampaikan secara langsung mengingat pada saat pelaksanaan penyuluhan sedang terjadi pandemi Covid-19.
