Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the form of language errors in the narrative text of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang as Indonesian language learning. This analysis was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data obtained in this study came from the work of narrative texts by class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang for the 2020/2021 academic year. Samples of narrative text work were taken from ten students of class XI from several different classes . The data in this study are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences contained in the narrative text of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang. The results of the analysis of narrative texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang, found that there were 4 error areas, namely (1) errors in the phonological field which included errors in the formation and changes of phonemes, (2) errors in the morphology field which included morpheme abbreviations and spelling errors, ( 3) errors in the field of syntax which include deviations in the structure of phrases, clauses or sentences, and (4) errors in the field of sociolinguistics which include mixing Indonesian with foreign languages ??in sentences. Abstract

This study aims to determine the personality aspects contained in the fictional character in the movie "The Message (Ar Risalah) 1976" by Moustapha Akkad. The data obtained in the form of screenshots related to the id, ego, and superego of the characters Hamzah and Abu Sufyan as the main characters in the movie. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with the psycho-literary approach of Sigmund Freud. After doing the analysis, the author found the id aspect of Hamzah in the form of fear and a sense of self-defense when the Muslims were oppressed by the Quraysh infidels. The ego aspect is in the form of Hamzah's decisions in responding to the id. Meanwhile, the superego aspect found was in the form of Hamzah's guilt against the Prophet. The results of the analysis for the character of Abu Sufyan, namely the id aspect found in the form of the desires of Abu Sufyan which led to the death of the Messenger of Allah, the ego aspect found in the form of a decision between realizing the id or not, while the superego aspect is in the form of Abu Sufyan's guilt for his bad behavior towards the Messenger of Allah and the Muslims. Abstract

The pandemic causes children to be unable to socialize and develop their knowledge and social emotions to the fullest. One of the efforts to continue to increase knowledge and social emotions in children is through reading containing children's literature. One of the media for reading children's literature is Riri Story Books. as a reading medium, this application has several features and content that can increase children's interest in reading literature. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The use of this method is considered very appropriate because the research data will be described descriptively using words. To obtain research data, researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and literature study. Some of these data collection techniques are considered very appropriate because they support qualitative research designs and help researchers obtain research data more easily. In this study, the theory of the criteria for illustrated stories was used to determine the type and criteria of media for reading children's stories that were appropriate to be used during the pandemic. This study aims to provide information and knowledge related to the media for reading children's literature during the pandemic so that children can still receive content that helps them adapt to the pandemic. Abstract

This study aims to describe how the identity and role of an ustadz in the news "Babi Ngepet" Kompas Tv. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is done by means of observation. After the data is collected, it is analyzed based on the steps used, namely by clarifying the data according to the problems discussed. After that it will be concluded based on the results of the data analysis. There are several factors that influence language, one of which is identity. And as a result of this research, we find out how language influences society, and what are the roles of clerics in society, and can also reveal what actually happened in the Kompas TV news. Abstract

The results of a survey conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture, as many as 60 percent of teachers still have difficulty doing PJJ. In addition to health problems, the use of digital media that has not been optimal is a major obstacle. Many complaints from students who only get assignments without first explaining the material. The teachers only gave instructions through the WA group, only gave homework. Many e-learning platforms such as google class rooms only contain pdf and ppt. For researchers to overcome the problem of courageous education, it provides a little solution with a bold learning approach in poetry courses. By using a qualitative descriptive method, 10 bold materials are presented in the form of videos which will be the core material for the practice of making poetry directly with different approaches. The 10 videos are 1. Metaphor, 2. Simille, 3. Five Senses, 4. Literacy Foundation., 5. Anti Social Life, 6. Short and Long Term Memory, 7. Creative Writing with Formulas, 8. Unlimited, 9. Research, 10. Restrictions. From the ten videos, 10 poems were realized which later became the first Poetry Anthology to be printed and had an ISBN in the English Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Majapahit Islamic University with the title "Withut A Trace". Abstract

This study intends to describe the benefits of using folklore board media in improving the speaking skills of BIPA students from Thailand. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method which will produce data in the form of a series of words that will form paragraph by paragraph. The data in this study is the use of folklore board media. Data acquisition is done by direct observation. The source of this research is focused on a series of BIPA learning processes with Thai students. The research subjects were BIPA students who joined the learning program carried out by the author. Data collection is in the form of listening and note-taking techniques. The results showed that the folklore board media provided benefits as a means of introducing Indonesian culture in the sociocultural aspect. The benefits of the folklore board media are as follows: (1) learning is packaged in an attractive and communicative way, (2) students are more active in learning, (3) a means of introducing culture, (4) innovation of new and meaningful teaching materials, (5) making it easier for students in his memory. Abstract

One of the efforts made to introduce the charm, uniqueness and diversity of the Indonesian nation to audiences from various parts of the world is through BIPA teaching by utilizing the use of puppet media, the puppet media itself is used with the main objective of introducing great figures from Indonesia. Indonesian nation. Descriptive qualitative method is the method used by the author in this study. The material provided in the lesson has certainly been adapted to the standard of advanced level learners with BIPA Level VI teaching with the topic of discussion material "Biography of Characters" and using puppet media as a means of delivering material to introduce great figures of the Indonesian nation such as President Soekarno, President Soeharto, KH Ahmad Dahlan, RA Kartini and other great figures. In general, the implementation of BIPA Level VI learning activities using puppet media as a means that can be used to introduce Indonesian figures is quite good, the students are enthusiastic to ask questions about many things related to the biographies of the characters presented. and effective for both teachers and learners. Abstract

This research aims to find out the image of women and violence in the short story Laila by Putu Wijaya. To find out how the portrayal of female characters by male authors, namely Putu Wijaya and to know what acts of violence happened to Laila. This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data analysis techniques by reading repeatedly the short stories studied, describing the data according to the formulation of the problem used, interpreting the collected data, making conclusions, and the results of the description done. The results of this study are a picture of Laila's character. The image of a woman in Laila's character depicted with a hardworking, submissive and devoted woman to her husband and parents, and there is an act of violence committed by the character Romeo to Laila that is emotional violence. At the end of the story, Laila is physically and psychically free from her husband's cruelty but her heart and mind are not because there is no longer for her the way to heaven. Laila forgets when there are still many ways to go to Heaven because God is Most Merciful to every servant. Keywords : short stories, feminists, women’s image, Laila

Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the effectiveness of the anticipation guide strategy used in the learning process. At this time with the development of education that is increasingly rapid, the curriculum used is a curriculum that is considered capable of maximizing the learning process. The use of the 2013 curriculum is a demand for educators to further maximize the learning process in which students are required to be more active in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the anticipation guide strategy in students' reading comprehension skills. In this research process, the writer takes data by conducting an experimental class which in one class is divided into two groups. The first group of authors asked students to explain the subject matter without any prior explanation by an author, while the second group of authors explained the scope of the material to be studied and then asked students to re-explain what had been understood from the results of listening and listening to the writer. So with this experiment the author can see the effectiveness of the anticipation guide strategy with the results that have been tested. In this study, the authors see that the anticipation guide strategy is suitable for use in the learning process by means of educators explaining in advance the material to be taught to students so that students can understand the subject matter optimally. Abstract

This article discusses the use of implicature which is a theory put forward by H. Paul Grice, in a comedy web series titled Malam Minggu Miko–Episode Nissa. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of speech that contains implicatures in the series and describe the types of implicatures used. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with Malam Minggu Miko–Episode Nissa series by director Raditya Dika as the object of the research. This research uses data collection techniques with the documentation method that divided into several steps: (1) data reduction, display data and (3) verification data. The researcher uses the data found in the series and then analyse it with implicature theory by Grice and found at least 10 samples which are 7 utterances or questions containing conversational implicatures and 3 utterances or questions containing conventional implicatures..
