Abstract

Ulee Lheue Port is one of the ferry ports located in the city of Banda Aceh as a transportation to Sabang Weh Island. The city of Sabang is famous as one of the destinations of sharia tourism in Indonesia, therefore the revenue of the region can be obtained from the sea port service levy. As a source of revenue, the acceptance of port service levies is affected by the number of passengers on the ferry. This study aims to analyze whether there is an influence between the number of passenger ships crossing the acceptance of levy services sea port city of Banda Aceh. This research uses quantitative approach and data analysis used is simple regression analysis. The source of this research is taken from the Banda Aceh Statistics Data Report 2012 to 2015. The results show that there is influence between the number of passenger ship crossing to the receipt of levy service of seaport city of Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Banda Aceh is one of the city of Islamic tourism in Indonesia, therefore it is expected that regional income can be obtained from tourism income. As a source of  revenue of income, tourism is influenced by tourist visits. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between the visiting of the domestic tourists and the foreign tourists to the regional revenue in the city of Banda Aceh. This research uses quantitative approach and data analysis used is simple regression analysis. The source of this research is taken from the Banda Aceh Statistics Data Report 2012 to 2015. The results show that there is influence between the visit of tourists to the city's original revenue of Banda Aceh, this is indicated by the increase of the number of tourists to increase the original income of the regional.

Abstract

Fish commodities are a renewable resource and public property, whose utilization needs to be sustainable. This study aims to analyze the condition of the utilization of Aceh fishery resources, using a simple method of long-term fish supply curve, by assessing the relationship between production and price movement of fish. The 27-year time series data published by DKP has been used, in the form of production and price data. The results of the analysis indicate that the utilization has excessive exploitation for Malacca Strait fisheries, and less exploitation in the Indian Ocean region

Abstract

This research is a study that focus on local wisdom aspect as the force behind the sustainable development, whether development in economic, social, culture, education and other aspects. The scope of this research problem is coastal development based on the local coastal wisdom itself. Where wisdom is positioned as a potential for environmentally friendly and sustainable development. So this study looks at how the strategy of Panglima Laot as an institution of adat laot or local wisdom which is a maritime cultural heritage that developed in Aceh coast in maintaining sustainable coastal environment. This research was conducted in Pidie District of Aceh Province, where Pidie District is one of the coastal regency in Aceh. By borders, the North side of the regency is bounded by the Malacca Strait, South by West Aceh and Aceh Jaya Regencies, the East with Pidie Jaya Regency and the West is bounded by the Regency of Aceh Besar. This research uses qualitative research methods.   In addition, the study also uses a multi-disciplinary approach. The approach used in this research is the approach of sociology, anthropology and history. The existence of three disciplinary approaches, can provide a comprehensive description of Panglima Laot, so that the researchers can build concepts in answering research problems. The results of this study indicates that, Panglima Laot as chief of adat (custom) has its own role in regulating fishermen as coastal custom communities. The existence of Panglima Laot is strategic enough in limiting the behavior of fishing communities, especially behavior that can damage the coastal environment. To curb such behavior, the Panglima Laot undertook by customary approach as a strategy in preventing the destruction to the coastal environment caused by the behavior of fishermen. The customary approach strategy used by panglima laot as adat leader in encouraging sustainable coastal maritime conservation in Pidie District.

Abstract

This study was aimed to investigate whether there is still an effort to maintain the final solution of conflict existence in the politic and its impact to the society after the peace agreement has been signed. This study used the descriptive qualitative approach by using interview and observation as data collection. The research findings revealed several indicators of conflict existence; they were unfairness, dishonesty, structured, massive and sistematic fraud that is still occured in politic democratic such as black campaign and money politics. As the impact, these indicators remain as a trigger of conflict that cause violence acts in the society in almost every part of Aceh which also occured in Aceh Besar. The most likely impact in the society was a demonstration which often happen in a campaign that often followed by violence acts, terror, and also intimidation

Abstract

The problems associated with conducting research are the extent to which Aceh needs foreign investment in developing its region. The most important question is whether the foreign investment opportunities that exist in Law No. 11 of 2006 can be implemented as desired by the parties. It is also questionable what are the constraints of foreign investment activities in Aceh after the implementation of the Act.This writing uses qualitative descriptive analytical method with emphasis on library research in order to obtain data, in addition also using field research as primary data.The results of the study can be summarized that the main foreign investment opportunities are the existence of peace and security so that all parties including foreign investors are protected from security disturbances. Law Number 11 Year 2006 provides a great opportunity for Aceh to bring in foreign investors, but the Aceh Government does not fully use the opportunity because of a clause limiting the controversial authority with the given authority, which is to comply with prevailing norms, standards and procedures nationally. Constraints impeding foreign investment in Aceh after peace and the realization of security are rules that make investors and operators unimpeded, among others, due to the norms, standards and procedures imposed for foreign investment activities in Aceh as serious obstacles that need to be solved.
