This paper discusses the factors that affect the damage in the office archive libraries, archives and documentation of Bukittinggi. The purpose of this paper is: (1) Describe the intern factors affecting archives damage in Office Library, Archives and Documentation of Bukittinggi, (2) Describe the extern factors that influence damage records in the Office of Libraries, Archives and Documentation of Bukittinggi. From the results of this study concluded: (1) intern factor is the destructive factor derived from the archives. Factors damaging is the archive of the paper and the ink paper and ink as an object that can be easily damaged. For avoidance of anything like this, at the time of filing in paper and ink for choose a good quality that is not easily damaged archives and in doing maintenance, do so in accordance with the terms of the world of archives, (2) factor is a factor extern archives from destroyer from outside. Factors damaging records from outside is the temperature and humidity, as well as the use of dust and mishandling. This is caused by a lack of understanding of archivists in the process of maintenance records so that the archive was damaged and difficult to use anymore. In order for archive to be managed properly filing officer should provide equipment maintenance and managing archives in accordance with archival purposes. This paper discusses about the behavior of information searcher in Public Library in Solok. (1) Describing how the behavior of information searcher in Public Library in Solok: (2) Describing how the availability of information in Public Library in Solok.This research uses qualitative and quantitative method by collecting the data through direct observing, and also direct interview with librarians. Further, the researcher also gives questioner to information searchers who come to Public Library in Solok. The data analysis is done descriptively. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that; First, the behavior of information searchers can be seen the strategy used by the researcher. The source of information that is often used by visitors of the library is textbooks. The information searchers come to the library in order to do their paper or assignment, and also as a place to interact one another. Second, the availability of information is not enough. The visitors of the library stated that if the information is not found in Public Library in Solok, they will go to bookstores. The next is the using of additional equipments. In searching information in the library, most visitors will go directly to bookshelves and find the book by themselves. Keywords: Behavior; information searcher; user; library

This paper aims to discuss: (1) activities of preservation and conservation of library materials in the Library of Bung Hatta, (2) to prevent damage to library materials in the Library of Bung Hatta. Based on the survey results and analysis found that: (1) activities of preservation and conservation of library materials in the Library of Bung Hatta done by binding the types of volumes are volumes glue back. Besides the activities carried out by separating the library materials according to the conditions and laying back on a more regular collection, (2) to prevent damage to materials of libraries and librarians are always cleaning shelves books using the vacuum cleaner, using glass cabinets to store the collection, the humidity room with installing air conditioning, insecticide spraying, adjust room light, and to transfer the form to the collection. From the findings it is expected that library should Bung Hatta to perform maintenance of libraries damaged material as the cover is torn, book covers loose, and missing pages immediately make repairs and divert the form of library materials in addition to the scientific work in the form of a CD or flash if possible. Structuring Systems Â Archive Dynamic Field In Sub-Section Determination General Crime In Court Payakumbuh. The problem of this paper is how to setup the system records and constraints faced in the structuring and implementation of archival records at the District Court Payakumbuh. The purpose of writing this paper aims to describe the arrangement of the system records the Subdivision Determination District Court Foreign Affairs Criminal Payakumbuh. The method used for writing this paper uses descriptive method is to describe on an object as it is at any given time. The data obtained through the survey directly to the arrangement of records at the District Court Payakumbuh. For that obtain accurate data conducted interviews directly. This paper aims to discuss: 1) supervision of the maintenance of archives in the Archives, Documentation, and Solok City Library, 2) the state of the equipment used in the maintenance of archives in the Archives, Documentation, and Solok City Library, 3) HR in the maintenance of the state archives in the Archives, Documentation, and City Library Solok. From the results of this discussion to the authors conclude, 1) archival surveillance activities in the Office of Archives, Library and Documentation Solok City supervised by archivists themselves. However, this activity is supposed to do this regularly as it should have done so visible damage to its archives. A lot of dust on the shelf archive, the archive folder also cover damaged, torn. Not least there are also records that dirty because it is often held by the hand of man, 2) equipment used in the maintenance of records in the Office of Archives, Documentation, and City Library Solok severely limited by the willingness of the means in the form of equipment and materials needed. For that archivists are not set in archival education at the Archives, Documentation, and City Library archives Solok provide technical guidance, so that employees can see or obtain knowledge about the archives. Includes seminars archivists in archives, training related to maintenance procedures archives. This paper discusses the treatment of Library Materials in the Library of the State University of Padang, The purpose of this is Mecca (1) describe the factors damage library materials in the library of the State University of Padang (2) describe preventing damage library materials in the Library of the State University of Padang. Based on data collected through direct observation and interviews with staff how Libraries in Padang State University Libraries. It can be concluded: (1) the damaged library materials in the Library of the State University of Padang is a book, a collection of references, such as the periodic collection of journals and tabloids. The research objective is to describe how the maintenance of a collection of works of fiction in Solok City Public Library. The data was obtained using the descriptive method, the technique of collecting data through observation or direct observation Solok City Public Library, and interviews with the librarian at the Public Library City Solok.
