Abstract

This article discusses the archival paradigm in the disclosure of public information on PT. Semen Padang. The writing is aimed at obtaining a description of: (1) archival paradigm in public disclosure in PT. Semen Padang; (2) constraints encountered in archival paradigm in PT. Semen Padang; (3) ways in which to overcome these obstacles. By analyzing the data, it was concluded that: first, at PT. Semen Padang on archival paradigm is good because the existing information and information received can already be identified quickly by work units and employees to see archival websites, newsletters, recor center archives and other information systems used by PT. Semen Padang; second, obstacles encountered in the archives at. Semen Padang presence of several units that have not been able to understand about the archives or the management of PT. Semen Padang; Third, as for the method to overcome these obstacles is to hold weekly or monthly socialization of archives and archival procedures and conduct future Jop On Training on electronic filing. Abstract

This article aims to describe the annotated bibliography as a means of making information searchers search for information on Student Final Program indusri Production Systems and Chemical Engineering, College of Industrial Technology Padang (ATIP) 2012-2013 the existing collection of scientific works in the library that comes with the ATIP inclusion of annotations. Inclusion of annotations in the annotated bibliography aims to help information seekers get a picture, illustration literature required contents. Advantages that are obtained seekers can find out information about the final project. The results of the study stated that the determination of the stage of making a bibliography is a bibliography of titles, in this case to consider is about the availability of a collection, use the collection to the user and what information is most needed by the user or pemustaka. The collection of library materials relating to the collection of things that have successfully traced recorded information about the author, Legal information, physical description or collation as well as additional information or annotation. Selection of library materials, the selection is intended that the articles collected in accordance with the specified topic grouping or classification. Abstract

The purposes of this article are to describe: (1) the effectiveness of the implementation storytelling library materials for early childhood in the Library of Bung Hatta Bukittinggi; (2) the obstacles in the implementation of the effectiveness of storytelling activities of library materials for early childhood and how efforts to overcome these obstacles. Data were collected through observation in the Library of Bung Hatta Bukittinggi and interviews with one person librarian Library of Bung Hatta Bukittinggi and five early childhood. Analyzing data descriptively. Based on the data analysis and interviews, can be summarized as follows. First, the implementation of storytelling in the Library of Bung Hatta Bukittinggi an effective activity to increase the number of early childhood visits to the library from 25 people to 35 people and indirectly foster interest in reading to young children. Second, constraints in these storytelling activities carried out in the form of the small number of early childhood visits to the library and the lack of an invitation from parents to their children to the library makes the library's storytelling activities, as well as the efforts made by the Library of Bung Hatta Bukittinggi to overcome these obstacles be prepared all that makes this storytelling activities run with the maximum because the library has supplied children's reading room in which there are books, magazines, and other collections specifically for early childhood and made a number of visits early childhood become more increase from the previous activity executed storytelling, storytelling activities thus bringing the total number of early childhood visits to the library to be more effective. Keywords : effectiveness, storytelling, early childhood

Abstract

This article discusses the review services children in the Library and Archives of West Sumatra province. By analyzing the data, we can conclude the following. First, the implementation of children's services at the Library and Archives of West Sumatra Province conducted in 2012 which is a coloring and writing articles, but other events such as film screenings and storytelling can not be implemented due to various conditions that do not allow; The next complete collection of the amount due each year receive additional collections; This service facilities are not complete; and interest in reading children who are less affected by the proliferation of internet access. Second, while the presence of obstacles in the implementation of children's services such as limited facilities, the transfer of funds, as well as indoor conditions that lead to not all activities can be carried out. Third, efforts that can be implemented to overcome the obstacles that still perform services with children, doing the distribution of funds to the two services, and plan for children's services programs in each year with reference to the evaluation in the previous year.
