Jurnal Ilmu Informasi Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan is a journal of Library and Information Science published by the Information Science, Library and Archival Study Program of Indonesian Language and Literature Department, State University of Padang. The purpose of this paper is to describe the making of library service guide video in the Library of Padang State University to make it easier to find an information needed. The method was a qualitative method with data collection techniques through direct observation and interview. There are three stages in the video production: First, Preproduction is an early stage before the implementation of video production. This steps are very important for video production because this stage is all the planning steps for video production is done. In this pre-production stage was done: search and discovery of ideas, making synopsis, treatment, sroryboard, shotting script, production planning, and production preparation. Second, Production, video production stage is the stage to realize all the steps that exist in preproduction stage. At the production stage, the video production team is usually led by a director who has a role to take responsibility for the ongoing running of video production. Usually the directorÂ assisted by several assistants to assist in ongoing video production. Third, Postproduction is the final stage in video production before the video is ready to be presented or distributed. In this post-production process were required video editing software and adequate tools to perform video editing process.Keyword: library,Â production, video.Â Â

This paper aims to describe the making of annotated bibliography of fiction collection in the Library of the Department of Archives and Library of the Pesisir Selatan District Based Microsoft access .The method used is descriptive method with techniques of data collectionÂ through observation and interviews. The observations were conducted directly to investigate the fiction collections in the Library of Archives and Library of the Pesisir Selatan District. The results obtained in direct observation, the number of fiction collections in the form of a novel in the Library of Archives and Library Department of Pesisir Selatan District were 101 titles of books with its copies of 134 pieces. Based on the discussion, it concluded that the compilation of fiction collection annotated bibliography in the Library of Archives and Library Department of Pesisir Selatan District were done through several stages as follows: the stages of making annotated bibliography as follows: 1) title determination; 2) collection of library materials or information investigation; 3) collection of library materials; 4) classification or classification; 5) keyword creation; 6) index preparation; 7) typing bibliographic texts; and 8) checking the final manuscrips, and procedures for annotated bibliography based on Microsoft Access as follows: (1) create a database file; (2) create tables and input data; (3) design forms; (4) create and add event procedure; (5) create and design a query; (6) make a report; (7) create and design the menu view. The purpose of this paper is to discussed about the spatial in the Library of Polytechnic State of Padang. The data collected through observation, interviews, and literature study with librarians in the Polytechnic State of Padang. Analyzing data is done descriptively. Based on analyzing the data, summarized the following matters. First, the Polytechnic State of Padang do not yet have their own building, but still use one of the existing political buildings. Second, the reading table does not have a diving wall, this couses distored reader concentration to read the collection in the library. Third, the Polytechnic State of Padang does not have the library materials processing room, due to limited building area then the library materials processing room does not exist, so the librarians rocess the library materials in the circulation room. This can interfere with the convenience and concentration of librarians in the library. Fourth, the limitations of the building area resulted in the conservation and preservation space not exist. Therefore, the librarian use the circulationÂ room and the staff work desk in the care of library materials.Keywords: library, spatial, Polytechnic State of Padang.

The writing of this paper discusses the factors that affect the low level of visitors at Perpustakaan Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Padang.The method used in writing this paper is descriptive method. Source of data obtained from the librarian at Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota PadangÂ and some general public. The data collection techniques were conducted by interviewing some of the general public .Based on the analysis of data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that (1) the factors that affect the low level of visitors in Library of Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Padang, First, the location is not strategic and not widely known by the public. Second, the book collection is incomplete and visitors difficult to find the books. Next, the facilities in the library are inadequate; (2) the effort are made to increase the visitors in Library of Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota PadangÂ are, the librarians have to do promotion activity, add the collection according to the needs of visitors, refinement the room by rearranging books around the reading table into the shelves that have been provided.Keyword: library, the factors , the level of visitor,Â librarian

In this paper discussed about Red Spinach Information Repackaging. Writing paper aims to describe Red Spinach Spinach Information Package with the aim to facilitate in retrieving information about Red Spinach found in Indonesia. The method of writing this paper is using descriptive method with data collection techniques of literature study. Based on analyzing the data, it can be concluded that Red Spinach Spinach from the leaves to the roots produces many benefits that have a function to maintain health as an enhancer of kidney work, cure various diseases and digestion. In the process of Red Spinach Spinach Information Package required stages as follows: (a) identification of user needs, (b) Collection of information and selection of information resources, (c) packing information, (d) determining audience goals, packaging forms, and making (F) determining the way and system of disseminating the ready-made information packing, (g) transferring the information in printed form, (h) determining the strategy for finding the types of information sources that can help find the information needed, Distribute, disseminate, disseminate, market the packaging of information by means of promotion and user education. This paper discuss about the process of making index with annotation the economic journal in the library of Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Ekasakti Padang. The aim of this study is to present or describe the process making index with annotation the economic journal in the library of Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitass Ekasakti Padang. The method used is the desscriptive method which is described what they are. The data has been collected through direct observation and asking some questions to the librarian in the library of Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Ekasakti Padang. Based on the the process of making index with annotation which are (a) the collection and selection of the journal in the library of Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Ekasakti Padang, after the collection and selection have been done, then the collection of the journal are 12 journals, 27 copies and 183 articles; (b) making description of the journal done by recording the data of index annotation. The informations that will be recording are the name of journal, volume, month, and years of published the journal, the title of articles, the authors, and page numbers of articles; (c) making annotation the articles, with the purpose to illustrate the content for the people. The process of making annotation done by reading all of the articles first, understanding the meaning of that articles, translates the abstract of articles journal into Indonesian language and concludes that; (d) established the keywords with the purpose to make easier in finding the informations. Keywords have been taken from the title of article, abstract, and the content of the article; (e) the construction of the index articles journal through some regulations of the author, the title of index, and the index keywords are arranged based on alphabetical order; (f) typing the index with annotation.Keyword: index with annotation, economic journal.

This paper discusses about the making of an annotated index of the newspaper about Pesisir Selatan tourism collection of the Library Archives and Library Department of Pesisir Selatan Regency. The purpose of this paper are (1)to see how the condition of newspaper collections in the Office of Archives and the Library of the South Coast (2) to describe the proces of making an annotated index of newspapers on tourism in the Archives and Library Department in the Pesisir Selatan. The Making of newspaper indexes in 2016-2017 in the Archives and Library Department in Pesisir Selatan was done by collecting data directly from the original source, ie newspapers in the Archives and Library Department in the Pesisir Selatan. The type of research was making of an annotated index of newspapers about Pesisir Selatan tourism collection of Library of Archives and Library Department of Pesisir Selatan Regency which conducted in this paper by using descriptive method that was done by collecting data directly from the original source, namely newspapers in the Office of Archives and Library of Pesisir Selatan Regency . Based on data analysis, it concluded that (1) In a effort to optimize and utilize libraries in finding information, an information-seeking tool was required to index newspaper-annotated articles that describe the entire information contained in newspaper articles; (2) index as inormation seaching tool, especially for newspapers in the office of archives and library department in the Pesisir Selatan was expected to help the user in finding the information needed accurately and quickly.Keyword: annotated index, newspaper, tourism.

InÂ this paperÂ discussedÂ aboutÂ MakingÂ an encyclopediaÂ of cultural heritageÂ in the town of Sawahlunto.Â The purpose ofÂ thisÂ paperÂ is toÂ describeÂ the process of creatingÂ the encyclopedia of cultural heritageÂ in theÂ West SumatraÂ town of Sawahlunto.Â The research methods used in this thesis paper writing is to use descriptive research methods and techniques of data collection was done through direct observation and interviews as well as libraries that use reading materials that are considered important.On the basisÂ of discussionÂ can be concludedÂ stage ofÂ creation ofÂ EncyclopediaÂ of cultural heritageÂ in the townÂ of Sawahlunto areÂ as follows.Â First,Â the collection of data, conductedÂ interviews withÂ staffÂ and observationsÂ relatedÂ directly toÂ the placeÂ of cultural heritage.Â Second,Â content design encyclopedia, before makingÂ aÂ product,Â the author makesÂ the draftÂ form ofÂ the inside ofÂ theÂ product thatÂ will be describedÂ in the form ofÂ a chart.Â Lastly,Â the manufacture ofÂ a product, based on theÂ contents of theÂ draftÂ heritageÂ encyclopedia, thenÂ the last step isÂ the process of creatingÂ the encyclopediaÂ of cultural heritageÂ in the town ofÂ SawahluntoÂ West Sumatra Province as follows: (1) preface containsÂ a couple of paragraphsÂ that containÂ authorÂ creditsÂ to God Almighty,Â toÂ parties who have been helping and giving support,Â the basis and purpose of prototypeÂ encyclopedias, hope,Â and accompaniedÂ with aÂ , month,Â and yearÂ of the bookÂ made byÂ the author.Â (2)Â the table ofÂ contentsÂ to find outÂ whatÂ cultural heritageÂ objectsÂ containedÂ inÂ the encyclopedia.Â (3)Â the content ofÂ theÂ subject matterÂ the book containsÂ articlesÂ aboutÂ cultural heritageÂ objectsÂ that existÂ onÂ the encyclopedia.Â (4)Â the indexÂ of the bookÂ is a list of important words or terms areÂ arrangedÂ alphabeticallyÂ in the backyard.Â (5)Â the front coverÂ (cover)Â is a skinÂ onÂ the outside ofÂ theÂ book thatÂ containsÂ the titleÂ of the book,Â and is accompanied byÂ someÂ supportersÂ of the image.Keywords: cultural, encyclopedia, heritage.

This study aims to describe: (1) a step in obtaining literacy skill information in the library of State Polytechnic Padang; (2) how to use information in the skill of literacy pattern in Library of State Polytechnic of Padang. Based on analyzing the data, the following conclusions are summarized. First, there are some steps in obtaining literacy skill information in Library of State Polytechnic of Padang that is to formulate information requirement is the first step in conducting information searching, librarian will know what information is used for what. Allocate and evaluate the quality of information that can be seen from the use of such information and the credibility of the information to be a lesson for themselves. Saving and rediscovering information, a librarian must be able to store the information which is already obtained and already in the fulfillment of information needs and the inclusion of resources is also done to appreciate the scientific work as well as for easy rediscovery. Secondly, there is a different way of using information in skill of literacy pattern in Library of State Polytechnic of Padang with skill of contracting relevant information. Respondents have been able to estimate relevant information or have been able to combine information. In contracting, the user first evaluates the information by looking at who wrote the information and the source used by the user.Keyword: literacy pattern, information

The purpose of this study to determine how the perception of liustors to the attitude of librarians in providing services in the Library Service and Library Archives South Coast District. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to library visitors. Samples taken as many as 41 respondents. The result of questionnaire was prepared by recapitulation of research result. Based on the results of the study concluded as follows: 1) In the process of membership registration, as many as 69% agreed about the fast in the process of registration 2) In the circulation process there, as many as 80% agreed about easy in doing the circulation . 3) In the librarian's attitude to give service 58% states do not agree mengalam librarian assist in the process of searching collection at Department Archives and Library of Pesisir Selatan Regency.Keywords: attitude, librarian, perception, reader.
