Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the violence in character of the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah El Khalieqy. This data is a quote that contain of violence on figures in this novelPerempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah El Khalieqy . The method is used to collect the data is read and written. The data is collected with the following steps: (1) read the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah El Khalieqy, (2) analyzing the violence contained in the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorbanby Abidah El Khalieqy, (3) especially to study literature references related to the research problem, (4) writing related data of the violence, (5) make the conclusion. Based on the research findings and discussion it can be concluded that a character in the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorbanby Abidah El Khalieqy, is classified on the main character and additional character. The main character in thisnovel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah El Khalieqy is Annisa. The additional character are Samsudin, Kalsum, Khudhori, Kiai Hanan Abdul Malik, Hajjah Mutmainah, Rizal, Wildan, Nina, Maryam, and Fauziah.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is (a) to describe the types of images contained in a collection of poems Tebaran Mega created by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana, (b) to describe the functions contained in a collection of poems Tebaran Mega by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The data of this study is a collection of images in poems Tebaran Mega by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The technique of analyzing data using detailed description techniques . The research findings in this study is the first, of the 6 types of images were examined, found 5 images in a collection of poems Tebaran Mega which is as follows: visual imagery found in 28 poems, auditory imagery found in 21 poems, olfactory imagery found in one poems, imagery feelings found as many as 11 poems, images grope found as many as 11 poems, and motion imagery found in 24 poems. Second, there are three functions in the collection of poems Tebaran Mega by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana which is as follows: the function of imagination as much as 10 poems, aesthetic function was found in 7 poems, and suggestive function found in 4 poems.

Abstract

The purpose of this article (a) to describe story of episode novel Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?created by Agnes Davonar, (b) to describe story of episode film Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?director by Findo Purwono Hw, (c) to describe the  comparison story of episode novel Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?created by Agnes Davonar with film Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?director by Findo Purwono Hw. The data of this article is the story of Episode novel Ayah, Mengapa aku Berbada? created by Agnes Davonar and film Ayah, Mengapa aku Berbeda? by the director Findo Purwono Hw. The analysis teqhnique used with ekranisasi theory. The findings of the study showed that the decrease story of episode novel Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?created by Agnes Davonar in film Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?director by Findo Purwono Hw become to 105 story of episode. Increase story of episode in film Mengapa Aku Berbeda?director by Findo Purwono Hw become to 41 story of episode. The same variation changes event, figure and background story of episode in novel Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?created by Agnes Davonar and film Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda?director by Findo Purwono Hw become to 32 story of episode.

Abstract

The purpose of this article: (a) to describe story of episode novel Bidadari-bidadari Surga created by Tere Liye, (b) to describe story of episode film Bidadari-bidadari Surga director by Sony Gaokasak, (c) to describe similar and different story of episode novel with film Bidadari-bidadari Surga. The Data of this study were story of episode novel Bidadari-bidadari Surga created by Tere Liye and film Bidadari-bidadari Surga director by Sony Gaokasak. Analyzed technique do with ekranisasi or transformasi theory. The findings of the study showed that the decrease story of episode novel Bidadari-bidadari Surga created by Tere Liye in film Bidadari-bidadari Surga director by Sony Gaokasak become to 85 story of episode. Increase story of episode in film Bidadari-bidadari Surga director by Sony Gaokasak become to 40 story of episode. The happening of change of event variation, figure, and novel story episode background in novel Bidadari-bidadari Surga created by Tere Liye and film Bidadari-bidadari Surga director by Sony Gaokasak become to 35 story of episode.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the structure and function of social expressions of prohibition of infancy and childhood in Kenagarian Batu Bulek Kecamatan Lintau Buo Utara Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Type this research is qualitative research with methods of descriptive. The object of the research was the oral literary expressions of prohibition of infancy and childhood are used communities in Kenagarian Batu Bulek Kecamatan Lintau Buo Utara Kabupaten Tanah Datar. This research comprises the informant and the informant's main one person supporting two people. The collection of research data is made through two stages, namely the stage of recording oral literary expression restrictions and environmental data collection stage of the narrative. Results of this study found as many as 68 expressions of prohibition of infancy and childhood. through two phases, namely the recording of oral literary stage expression restrictions and environmental data collection stage of the narrative. The ban on the phrase structure consists of two forms, that is composed of two parts that form of cause and effect, and the three-part structure of the sign, conversion, and the result. The social function of these prohibitions is the expression of the emotion of the religious belief or thicken, a collective imaginary projection system, educating, and bans.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe (a) the structure of the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, (b) the type of style that is used in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, (c) the functions contained in the language style of the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The data of this research is the novel style in novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The technique of analyzing data using techniques detailed description. The study findings in this novel as follows: 8 units personification, similes style of 4 pieces, style 3 pieces allegory, metaphor style as much as 9 pieces, style satire as much 2 pieces, style parable as much 2 pieces, style cynicism as much as 2 pieces, stylistic allusions 3 pieces, the eponymous style as much as 1 piece, style as much as 1 piece of irony, sarcasm style 5 pieces, and ntonomasia style as much as 2 pieces and a paronomasia 1 piece. functional style of language in the novel Sacred Love Habiburrahman El Shirazy Zahrana work is to give a wonderful effect on the language used in the story. Functions of language style in this study includes beautifying function, define the function, the function of satire, functional equations and functional comparison.
