Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This article is the result of research on the creativity development of traditional music which tends to lead to adjustments to the appreciation of the dynamic contemporary society as the basis for cultivating today's music. In general, this study examines one of the developments of musical creativity in Minangkabau, namely Gamat music. The research uses approaches from various scientific disciplines. It can also be said that this research is a combined research. Using various data sources that can be obtained through written sources in the form of books, articles, and scores. This method is carried out because research on Gamat music in Minangkabau has been carried out by many other researchers. The development of traditional music is based on the openness of the Minangkabau people to new things, based on the basic lines of adaik nan taradaik and adaik istiadaik which are included in the tradition of the babuhua sintak. This custom develops creatively towards perfection, which is very elastic. In the customs contained freedom and rights in the nagari based on consensus to be creative. It grows naturally, but it is immediately removed if it is against the applicable rules. This uniqueness allows people and individuals to be as creative as possible, so it is not surprising that Gamat music can be accepted and made into traditional music in several areas in Minangkabau. The phenomenon of the development of social music that occurs among the people in Minangkabau is an interaction or response from the community itself to changes in creativity.

Abstract

 This study aims to explain the transformation of the Tarea-rea Ritual into the form of a Randai performance in the Koto Gadang Guguk village which is still being performed now. This research uses qualitative research whit a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as cellphone cameras and stationery. The type of data used is the type of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is that the Ritual Transformation of Tarea-rea into Randai can be seen from the form of the performance. Tarea-rea is not only performed in the rice fields but has been performed for performances such as nagari consensus, festivals and wedding parties. The change is due to the change of mindset that has been reorganized whit new patterns and does not eliminate all the elements in the Tarea-rea ritual so that the traditions of the community do not simply become extinct and continue to develop.

Abstract

Penelitianainiabertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar menggunakan multimedia interaktif dengan media konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau. Jenis PeneIitian ini adalah peneIitianakuantitatif. PopulasiApenelitianAini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau. Sampel dari penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen (VIII 3A) dan kelas kontrol (VIII 2B) ditentukan dengan cara representative (mewakili). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes (soal objektif). Sebelum data di analisis terlebih dahulu dilakukanauji persyaratanaanalisis data berupa uji normaIitas dan uji homogenitas. HasiI peneIitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang  signifikan  dalam penggunaan multimedia interaktif terhadap  hasil  belajar  seni budaya siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (1,86>1,67). Dengan kata Iain penggunaan multimedia interaktif  berpengaruh terhadap hasiI beIajar seni budaya siswa keIas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau. Demikian juga haInya dapat dibuktikan dengan perbedaan hasil nilai rata-rata siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau menggunakan multimedia interaktif dengan media konvensional dengan niIai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 81,43 dan kelas kontroI 74,64.  Untuk itu agar hasiI belajar seni budaya  Iebih baik, makaApenggunaan multimedia interaktif harus ditingkatkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the form of performances of the Gandang Tambua and Talempong Pacik music groups at the Bukik Junjuang Sirih Nagari Paninggahan Studio. The research method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result showed that the Gandang Tambua and Talempong Pacik Bukik Junjung Sirih music groups performed at various event and events such as accompanying the Datuk/Pangulu appointment procession, wedding parades (Anak Daro and Marapulai), Qur’an Khatam parades, independence day events and Minangkabau music festival. The performances of the Gandang Tambua and Talempong Pacik groups Bukik Junjung Sirih consisted of several Talempong motifs, namely Cak Dindin, Siamang Tagagau, and several motifs of the Gandang Tambua game, namely Siontong Tabang  and Hoyak Tabuik.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the analysis of Tari Piriang Rantak Kudo movements in Pauh IX Lapau Munggu Kuranji District of Padang City. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The object of this research is Tari Piriang Rantak Kudo in Pauh IX Lapau Munggu Kuranji District, Padang City. This research instrument is the researcher himself using stationery and cameras. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques include library studies, observations, interviews, and documentation. The steps of this data analysis technique are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification/conclusion. The results of this study showed that piriang Rantak Kudo dance motion analysis was seen from the aspect of space, elements of time, and energy characteristics. Parts of space have five components, namely line, volume, direction, level, and focus of view. The time aspect has two elements, namely tempo and rhythm. Meanwhile, the power aspect has three components: intensity, pressure, and quality. In the movement piriang Rantak Kudo dance has 9 varieties, namely having 9 movements, namely: 1)the movement of the leader; 2)the movement of the balimau; 3)the movement of bakirok; 4)the movement of sauak sabalah; 5)the movement of ramo-ramo bagaluik; 6)the movement of kirok langkah alai; 7)the movement of langkah alai, 8)the movement of ramo-ramo bagaluik langkah gantuang; 9)closing motion. This aspect of space, time, and energy is essential in motion. Because of the element of space, time, and power, dancers can find out the energy expended in the movement of Tari Piriang Rantak Kudo.
