Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract This type of study is a qualitative study using descriptive analysis and the main instrument is the author of his own with the use of data collection techniques including observation, interviews and literature study and several tools to collect data in the field such as stationery, hp cameras, digital cameras. From the research Use of Audio Visual Media In Learning Locally Songs To Improve Student Motivation In Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Coastal Domains. Instructional media used in SMP Negeri 1 Domains Coastal VII class on learning the art of music, especially the song material is a local area of audio and visual. In the early stages of research looks KLS VII student motivation is very low in the study of local songs. Many things that cause it, such as media selection and learning improper influences from outside. After doing research for 6 sessions in class VII akirnya authors obtain research results. Results illustrate an increase in students' motivation in learning local songs, it is evident from the teaching and learning activities in the classroom such as: students were enthusiastic in watching video song displayed local teachers, students observe local song video shown, students work on assignments per group, the student arranges the songs in a simple local area and per group, students display the results of the local arrangements of folk songs with kreativ and expression very good in front of the class. From the results of the research can be seen increasing students' motivation in learning local songs using audio-visual instructional media. Kata kunci: Pengunaan, media audi visual, lagu daerah setempat, motivasi.

Abstract This article was aimed at describing the changes on the form of Piriang Rantak Tapi dance in Nagari Pitalah Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. This research applied descriptive methud the data was collected though library study, observation, interview and documentation. The result of the research indicated that Piriang Rantak Tapi dance got changes in 1991. The changes was affected by the social and culture factors. They occurred on the dance form including (a) the structural form of movement, (b) the form of music, (c) custom, (d) properties and (e) time. The second change occure on the place of the show and the third cange was on the events precenting Piriang Rantak Tapi dance, such as in a traditional festival, in a wedding party and some accasions held by the tourism department. Abstract This research was designed for improving the students’ ability in playing Pianika by using Drilling Method in class VIII-7 of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung. This was a classroom action research wich was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The object of the research was the students in class VII-7 of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman that consisted of 36 students. The result of the research indicated that from the first cycle to the second cycle, the use of Drilling Method could improve the students’ ability in playing Pianika. In addition, the students’ activities in the learning process also improved. Kata Kunci : Peningkatan, Pianika, Metode Drill

Abstract This article was intended to describe the Presentation Structure of the Four Songs in the Dhol Music in the Tabut Ceremony in Provinsi Bengkulu. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. The data was collected through library study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done by classifying the data based on the conceptual framework. The result of the research revealed that the presentation structure of the four songs in Dhol music was (1) the ritual of Ambik Tanah, Duduk Penja and Menjara accompanied by Suweri, Melalu and Tamatam songs, (2) the ritual of Meradai accompanied by Suwena song, (3) the ritual of Arak Penja, Arak sorban, Gham and Arak Gedang without the accompaniment of dhol music, and (4) the ritual of Tabut Naik Pangkek and Tabut Tebuang accompanied by Suweri, Suwena and Tamatam songs. Abstract This study aimed to describe the presentation of a single organ at the wedding receptions in Nagari Talang Koto Pulai Tapan. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with human research instrument is an instrument. The study was conducted on February 15, 2014 in Nagari Talang Koto Pulai Tapan, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The results of the study found that a single organ music presented on the third day after the marriage / wedding receptions. The place that used only a small stage that rested on the right, left, front of the house or if the yard of a house narrow the taking of the road. Presentation time during the day and at night. Presentation time daylight hours ranged from 9:00 a.m. to 17:00 am and evening hours ranging from 9:00 p.m. to 03:00 am. The singer who is a singer who has a stunningly good singers sound management provided by a single organ and a singer of songs in the show as diverse as pop, Minang, dangdut, kasidah. In the evening the songs presented are also an assortment of mixed again with dj, house and also Remik. Every single organ always presenting a rendition of 'Night bainai'. Abstract This research was intended to describe the presentation structure of Malam Bainai a wedding ceremony in Kelurahan Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah Kecamatan Padang Timur Kota Padang. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive analysis approach. The procession of Malam Bainai consisted of three main parts including Bamandi-Mandi, Maniti Kain Kuniang, and Bainai. In bainai procession, inai was applied by bako, and the sisters of the bride’s mother, the wife of the bride’ uncle or female family coming in that procession. Abstract This research was aimed at describing the implementation of Peer-Tutor method in Recorder class at SMPN I Patamuan. This was a qualitative research. The data of the research was collected through observation, interview and library study. The result of the research showed that the use of Peer-Tutor method in Ambilkan Bulan Bu song could improve the students’ learning achievement. This could be seen from the students’ average score which was above the Minimum Standart Score (75) indicating that the learning outcome was 100% achieved. Key word: Recorder clas, Peer-Tutor.

Abstract The purpose of article was to describe the development of the form of Tanduak Dance show at Sanggar Kelambu Suto Kenagarian Muaro Kecamatan Sijunjung Kabupaten Sijunjung. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive analysis method. The data was collected through library study, observation, interview and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed by classifying the data based on the conceptual framework. The result of the research indicated that the development of the form of Tanduak Dance show was influenced by the society’s willingness to preserve the dance, so that Awang who was one of them develop the new form of the dance. The development could be seen from some elements including movements, dancer, floor design, music, properties, costume and the place of the show. Abstract The purpose of this research was to describe and find the Techniques of playing Pupuik Batang Padi. This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method.The research found the Technique of playing Pupuik Batang Padi performed by Rajo Bonsu Azwir.In this technique, the air was inhealed through the nose and would produced continuos sound when Pupuik Batang Padi was blown. Furthermore, in playing the melody, the higher the instrument blown, the lowder the sound produced. And the Three level of Direction were made of resonators. Kata kunci: Pupuik Batang Padi, Rajo Bonsu Azwir.
